Used Alvita Care for my Mom. They are tops!!! Gerald, Client Care Liaison made the process seamless from start to finish. World Class Service all the way.
I don't recommend family or caregivers to utilize Alvita Home Care for any services. I beg you do not put your loved ones with this agency.. They are disguised to look like a real company but in fact they are not. It is my belief that they are operating as a shell company to look legit. Their customer service is nearly non-existent.
They have a call center located in the Philippines and the chance of you speaking with a coordinator or a worker based in NY is zero. On top of that the recruiter, Jenni, is unprofessional. I have dealt with home care agencies for the last 20 years and this company, Alvita home care has massive red flags. Please avoid at all costs!!! Good luck everyone!!!

Home Instead proved to be an incredibly reliable service for my father and his spouse for more than two years. At first we utilized them 5 days a week, but over time this grew to 7 days a week as their help proved to be invaluable. From simply providing compassionate care to help with walks, meal preparation, bathing, managing prescriptions to so much more, Home Instead was there for my dad when my siblings and I simply couldn’t be there. There is also one person in particular that I must single out. That is Trina Jackson. My dad and his spouse Carol truly loved her and I swear she kept my dad more positive and more enthusiastic about life. In fact, I’d say she was one of the main inspirations that kept him alive and kept him going from day to day and month to month. Home Instead and Trina Jackson are the best!!!!
Home Instead Manhattan has provided services for my husband since 2018. They are a very professional and caring agency. My husband has a dementia diagnosis. The assigned caregiver helps with activities of daily living (dressing, feeding, etc.) as well as companionship. They assign the same caregiver thus providing stability for husband. The agency has a nurse who makes home visits. I have never used any other home health care agency due to Home Instead's responsiveness.
This is the best home care agency I've every been apart of. They listen to your needs and do all they can to help you help the clients. This is a great agency to work for. I highly recommend.

From the moment we reached out to inquire about their services, we were met with professionalism, compassion, and genuine concern for our loved one's well-being. They took the time to understand our loved one's unique needs and preferences and matched him with a compassionate, kind caregiver who is still working with us during a challenging time. We are grateful for Right at Home's dedication, expertise, and unwavering commitment to enriching the lives of those they serve.
My family hired Home Instead in Manhattan to take care of our elderly father who lived in an apartment with his partner. Myself and my siblings all lived far from NY - Los Angeles in my case. Dad was nearing 90 and needed daily care, but he adamantly did NOT want to go into a nursing home. We understood and hired home care through Home Instead to keep him at home with his loved one and this worked beautifully. We had Trina, an absolute treasure, during the week, and Joseph, a kind and patient man, on weekends. My father, a curmudgeonly old sports writer, was not easy to handle, but Trina was patient, kind, funny and she loved Dad despite his foibles. He absolutely adored Trina and would do for her what he would not do for us (like wear clean clothes). Dad went into the hospital in in late January and we all flew in to be there as much as we could, but we kept the Home Instead support throughout his stay so that he always had a familiar person at his side. This made all the difference. He passed peacefully on Sunday morning and three of his kids were with him. Trina had cared for him all week and she is like a sister to us now. We love her dearly. I want to thank Home Instead and their office staff, including Balbina, for constantly remaining in contact in all situations, including changes in schedules, medication issues, etc. This gave us such peace of mind with dad so far away. Home Instead is a well run organization and they provided exactly the service they advertise and more. I highly recommend them to anyone wanting to care for their parents while keeping them at home.
Common them in working for this company is that if you are someone of color you will be treated differently.

We could not have asked for better care for my FIL in NJ after ending our contract with a nightmare aide service. We worked to coordinate everything with Kate Feola and she was phenomenal. The communication was fantastic, and such a refreshing change. Onasis was one of our main aides and he was wonderful with my FIL. I'd definitely recommend their services!

Alvita care provides good care to their patients when and wherever they are. They also have good trained coordinators and care givers as well. Working with Alvita care, gave m e more experience. NANA BROOKMAN although I don't know her in-person but she's a great and a good coordinator who does her job professionally.
The aide provided by Right At Home has been fantastic. She always goes above and beyond to be helpful, and is conscientious, genuinely caring, and smart. My elderly aunt can be challenging, at times, but her aide gets along great with her to the point where my aunt wanted to invite her over for dinner on her days off, as she considers her as much a friend as an aide. The office staff, especially Jennifer, has been extremely helpful, patient and great at following up on calls, as well as keeping me informed of any needed scheduling changes. Having cared for multiple family members with various agencies over the past 20+ years, I can say with certainty that Right At Home has been the easiest to work with and most helpful overall, and we consider ourselves lucky to have found the aide we have.

BrightStar has provided my special needs adult daughter with nursing services for the past year. Alvita Care gave us peace of mind when we needed to find a wound care nurse quickly for our elderly father's return from the emergency room. Both the administrators and the nursing team were clear and helpful communicators. We are especially grateful to the nurses for being so patient with our father. Right at Home of Lower Manattan came to our father's rescue when we needed a caregiver to provide him with daily support. Joyce and Tracey were wonderful in guiding us through this completely new experience. I am grateful for the wonderful support of the team and his excellent caregiver who provided him with support as we planned his move out of state to a supportive senior community. The team was source of resources for the elderly.

We have found the staff to be the most personal, courteous, and helpful care providers. We live in another state and we have relied heavily on Right at Home Services for our mother especially during the pandemic. Although mom lives alone, she has required special attention and Right at Home has been there for her every time. Our Home Care Supervisor Tracy has been a God Send in helping us with scheduling, coordinating services and offering support during our most difficult times with mom. We especially love our Caregiver who has shown great compassion and understanding for our mom at all times. This Agency is to be commended for their work. They have been the hands, feet and eyes we needed for our mom when circumstances made it impossible for us to be there. Right At Home will put your mind right at ease in providing excellent homecare services for your loved ones. It's not easy to put elderly parents in the care of "strangers" particularly if dementia is an issue. We have found working with administration (Albert, Joyce and Tracey) to be most helpful. They listen to your concerns and try to accommodate requests and are flexible when changes need to be made. If I could give this company 10 stars, it would be more accurate. Like many people probably reading this review, I have zero experience taking care of aging parents who are unable to care for themselves- one parent in late- stage dementia/senility, and the other parent in hospice care. I am the only adult child in my family who has chosen to take on this responsibility of my parents, and have a job and children of my own. After terrible experiences with a slew of other agencies, I was guided to Eldercare. This was a game-changer for us. I will never forget my first phone call to them- my explaining how difficult my mother was and how many other local agencies refused to work with her... Nothing I said swayed them. Nothing I said surprised them. Nothing I said discouraged them. They were here to help us, period. We are on our second year together and they couldn’t have been more right. The aides they provide have been wonderful. They care deeply for my mother and deeply for all of us as a family. They are professional, honest, skilled and keep a sense of hope and humour when things go South. My respect for them personally and for the company they represent is immense. Writing this was a pleasure. I recommend them without reservation. MB

Personalized service and caring staff!! BrightStar was able to fulfill my mothers needs for 24/7 care within one days notice. The owner Toby answered all of my questions and calls personally, and was available to speak at all hours. I will definitely be calling them again if the need arises for my dad. Evergreen Hospice is exceptional. The hospice staff assisted us with the passing of our mother in Bellevue WA, August 2020. They were so compassionate, knowledgeable, professional, and responsive. Delivery of our mom's supplies was practically immediate. We are so grateful for their help during this very painful time. Thank you so much to the nurses, social workers, bathers, drivers, and all others who helped our momma and family.
Outstanding service! Deeply caring, compassionate a highly competent home attendants took care of my 87 year old mother during the last months of her life, right up to her last day. They were kind, responsive, and above-and-beyond in their thoughtfulness and compassion. And their manager and coordinator was extremely responsive and also went above and beyond. I can’t imagine a better service and would definitely use them again if we had to. Highly recommend.

I had a wonderful experience with this agency. I wanted a certain type of caregiver for my needs and it delivered. Our babysitter came regularly for 2 months. She was punctual, attentive, kind, diligent, supportive and relentlessly patient. I was so lucky that she helped us. My mind was at ease every day I went to work and the staff of the agency were quick to respond and answer any questions or concerns. After talking to several care providers, I selected EvergreenChoince to take care of my grandmother because I found their TLC All Day package very accurate for her and needs.She’s living in a nursing home but needed personal care. So now she’s having all the help and care she needed and her quality of life has improved.
