Have been with this caregiver service since 2013. They have ALWAYS,not sometimes been able to work with changes whether it be with my personal situation, caregiver changes, the weather like it is snowing outside, schedule changes . I also love the fact that the company treats you as a person and not just a time slot that needs to be staffed.The company owner always makes sure I have no problems with my caregiver. My only issue is the pricing. I do wish it was cheaper as other companies do offer a cheaper price but I suspect those other issues would not be handled so well. I understand it is a business. There is no option for 4.5 stars stars but that is what I would give them.

I chose Homewatch CareGivers for several reasons. The first being they did not require a hefty deposit, their hourly rate is comparable to those of other companies, and they didn’t have a lengthy contract that locked me into a commitment I was not sure I would be able to fulfill. My Father had mild Alzheimer’s at the time, and insisted he did not need help, so I was unsure of how many hours a week I would be able to utilize them without him turning them away at the door. Many times, it was the owners themselves who took my Father to appointments, the grocery store, or stopped by the house (on short notice) if I needed them to check on something (as I live out of state and cannot do so myself). The owners were crucial to the process of getting my Father used to having someone around to help him and they did so with patience and compassion.

I also liked their motto “let our family care for yours” and they truly are a caring family who go above and beyond to make sure your loved one is taken care of in the familiarity of their own environment. They are easy to work with and very accommodating to your specific needs. I would definitely recommend this company for anyone going the in-home caregiver route.

Long term client for both my dad and mother in law. Homewatch CareGivers of Fairfax were professional and caring. As my parents aged, the company met our family's needs of added hours and care with no problems. The in-home caregivers were excellent and the company worked with us to get the right match for our home. We have dogs and they were always careful to send people whom had good qualifications while also comfortable with dogs. We lived quite a distance off the main roads but that never got in the way of getting good, reliable care. My parents have since passed and we miss having the caregivers in our home. Over the years they became a part of our family. You will not regret hiring this company for your caregiving needs.

I can't be more appreciative of the help I got from Homewatch CareGivers of Fairfax. Their dedicated and well-trained caregivers helped extend the life of my late mother for years .. years more than she was expected to live. We had care help from dozens of those caregivers over those years and owners Don and Nina personally visited us on occasion. As I say ... I could not have asked for more.

My family has homeware services for my 97 year old grandpa and it's always top notch service! Gisele is really caring about her work/business and you can see it through her employees as well. our homecare person is always timely and does a fabulous job of taking care of my grandpa!

This is a letter to give my heartiest recommendation to Gisele Onga Nana, and the Global Home Care. My mother was visiting Vienna, VA from California when she unexpectedly experienced a ruptured appendix. She had emergency surgery and was very sick.

I live in Boston and I needed to find help for my mother while she was recuperating without me. So I went to the Internet to begin a search. I called 4 agencies based on the quality of the write-ups and description of services. Gisele was the most prompt in her reply. She was the most professional and she was, frankly, the nicest of anyone I spoke with. I explained that I needed someone to help my mother 24 hours a day for several days and then 12 hours during the day, after that. Gisele was amazing. As my mother arrived from the hospital, Gisele was waiting at the front door with the aide, Justine. Gisele stayed to get everyone settled and then Justine went to work. She attended to my mothers every need. Medication, meals, everything.

Fatima came during the day. My mother called her a “special angel.” They shared stories and over the course of more than a week became friends. On her last day of care, they took a picture together which my mother has since framed. My mother told me that Fatima had a wonderful heart.

So, I just can’t say enough good about this terrific agency. I’ve never met Gisele or her “angel” helpers in person, but I can say they came to the rescue at a very difficult time. It’s not often you find such good people, who also are very skilled at what they do.

I feel incredibly lucky to have Caring Hands Matter helping our family care for my mother with dementia. From my first call to Rebecca, I knew that we had found the right care agency. She was so kind on the phone, listened to our needs and concerns, asked such great questions, and then she and Maria got right to work helping us find the caregiver that was best for my mom. They are the best team, going above and beyond to make sure that the caregiver is the right fit. Our caregiver is becoming part of our family. She is so wonderful with my mom. She is patient and kind, always thinking of ways she can help my mom and ways she can bring her joy. They go on walks, they do puzzles together, and even listen to music and dance in our living room.
