Visiting Angels has provided amazing in-home caregivers for over 2 years for my brother with advanced Parkinson's. I am so grateful for their help and the wonderful people they've sent us.

My mother receives care from 5 Stars Homecare and I can sincerely say they are one of the best providers I have ever experienced. Their staff is kind, professional and compassionate and their administrative team is always so friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend them and I am really grateful to them for the amazing care they have been providing my mother for years now.

In my experience, the Griswold Home Care team defines "caring," "empathy," "professionalism," "expertise," and "efficiency." This is particularly important given that their services meet the needs of individuals and families at a crucial time - when we need it most and when we are confronting challenging topics that may be very new to us. I came to Griswold Home Care with a challenging situation, with only a few days' notice. They were able to put together a solution that met the need and exceeded expectations -- and, most importantly, that provided excellent care for a loved one. I am particularly pleased to have had this experience with them because they provided insights to me two years prior on a separate issue, giving generously of their time. To me, this shows that they really do care -- and so I was pleased to be able to hire them when the very significant need presented itself. That was my experience, and I am pleased to have this chance to share it with my neighbors who may have similar needs. I found Griswold through another neighbor, and I am thrilled to pass along this recommendation to others.

No idea how good their medical services are, but I live on a dead end road with a 25 mph speed limit and they went past my house at about 50 mph going so fast they missed the turn out, turned around as did the same thing. Whoever was driving is an extremely dangerous person. Kids playing all around. Just happened 10 minutes ago in Alexandria

Griswold helped my family out when we were unable to be in town to help a parent who needed full time assistance. I cannot say enough good things about our experience. Stephanie was incredibly responsive throughout the process. Our requests were last minute and she helped us navigate the whole thing with honesty and empathy. My father was so happy with the care he received. He felt comfortable and cared for with each care taker. Jidy was so kind and patient with him and quickly became a favorite he looked forward to seeing. I highly recommend Griswold for any care taking needs. It can be difficult to trust someone you haven't met in person watching over a loved one and I am so thankful we found this group. They truly made the best out of a difficult time in our lives.

My grandma was fully independent until the age of 95, still drove her car until the age of 92! When she had a fall in the night, we knew she needed some help. Being able to convince such an independent person to accept help was hard but Comfort Keepers put all of us at ease. Her caregiver Rejoice is a Godsend not just to my grandma, but to our whole family. We truly "rejoice" since she started helping her. As I told Rejoice and Comfort Keepers office team, I was sleeping better knowing someone was there to watch my grandma. Comfort Keepers does more than just assist with day to day tasks, Comfort Keepers promotes a model of care that allows seniors to live as independently as they can. For my grandma, it is more than just help with tasks, it is having someone to talk to, share memories, and have new experiences when society tells us that at a certain age, we stop having them. My family can't recommend Comfort Keepers enough. From the caregivers to the office staff, everyone is attentive, punctual, and easy to access at any time.

The staff and care givers are very nice and explained everything and answered all of our questions in a professional manner. We are very pleased with the entire staff from the initial meeting to all of the members of the care givers staff. We are especially grateful to Genet who has been a really big help and my mom is very pleased with her.

I used aides from Griswold for over a year while I was recovering from spinal fusion and hip surgeries. Much of the time I needed 24-hour care so I had lots of different women who came. They did an excellent job in sending me competent, caring aides who had to bathe and dress me, prepare meals, monitor my physical therapy and do light housekeeping. The last aide I had, Agnes Sarpong, I had the longest time, and she was exceptional. She drove me to my twice weekly PT sessions and helped me in many ways above and beyond the call of duty. I am so grateful to Griswold for providing such good care for me. I recommend them highly!

I recently hired Comfort Keepers to provide me with a care giver to take me to the hospital for a procedure and to make sure I got home safely. Their aides are patient and understanding and their office team upholds a standard of professionalism and clear communication that brings me peace of mind. Conscientious, caring and thoughtful are the best ways I can describe my engagement with Senior Helpers. The team has been so respectful and caring toward both of my parents. My mom was diagnosis with Alzheimer’s after getting very sick from her cancer treatment. This made my dad the primary caregiver for both of them as they wanted to continue to live independently. They were doing fine for a while but after being sheltered in for months on end due to Covid, we noticed a significant decline in my mom’s cognitive and physical abilities. We decided to try a care giver for a few times a week to give my dad a break and give them one more person to interact with safely. After just two weeks I have noticed my mom is more engaged, chatting and describing her walks with her new friend to me every time I visit. I am so thankful for the Senior Helpers team. They make me feel like I am not alone in this process. They understand the complexities of my mom and dad’s relationship and how my mom can be her best self. It gives me a sense of relief to know that we have one more ‘member of the family’ watching out for them.

Bella and her staff came into our family during the last 3 weeks of my Dad's life. Not only was Dad well cared for, but he was treated with respect, kindness and love. Bella has an amazing ability to pair case workers with clients, giving everyone the best experience possible during a stressful and emotional time.
Not only did they take care of my Dad, but they took care of me, offering support, compassion and hugs whenever needed.
When Dad passed away, one of his "girls" as he called them,(he was always saying to anyone who came in "this is my girl" or my "sweetie") was with him. By the time I got to his apartment, not only was Bella there, but Shannon as well.

Superior care. Very professional, personable, flexible and supportive. Senior Helpers provided the needed care for my mother-in-law with advanced dementia and thus greatly improved her quality of life. Our Helper(s) came three times a week for 4 hours and gave her a thorough shower and helped with hygiene issues; fed her or worked with her to maintain self-feeding skills; stimulated her memory through viewing photo albums with her; and encouraged her to walk more than she wanted to maintain and increase her strength. They also thoroughly cleaned the bathroom, bedroom, living areas, washed/ changed her bed sheets and did the laundry. Later, when her husband suddenly became ill and was hospitalized for several weeks, Senior Helpers came to the rescue providing care for 8 hours daily while we were at the hospital. I felt free to leave the home, knowing my mother-in-law was in capable hands. This is such a valuable service for our precious aging population.

Although the care for my mother was acceptable, this organization has kept my full one month deposit and is giving me the runaround for two months now about the refund. Although they keep promising the refund or "checking on the status", it seems clear they intend to keep the money and just hope we go away. We will be taking this organization to court.

We have been grateful for the care that Griswold Home Care has provided. Their staff and nurses are incredibly responsive, they worked with us to find the best fit for my mom's situation, and they have also helped me navigate caring for an elderly parent above and beyond just setting up a care schedule.

This company as a whole has been great. They don't send sales people out to do the home assessment. They have what is called care coordinators and they coordinate the care for your loved one. This helped relieve so much stress and anxiety. The staff are always available if I ever have any questions. I appreciate all their hard work
