Brookdale staff have all been very attentive and tremendously helpful with our family and our Mother's needs. I would like to personally thank Darius for his knowledge, his attention to details and for truly caring about our Mother and her particular needs. This place is beautiful, its perfect for our Mother as she now joins her Sister who already lives here. Together they're gonna keep y'all on your toes lol thank you to all the staff of Brookdale Lake Charles 🌹🙏

Brookdale Lake Charles was an answer to prayer for our family. When you notice that your loved one is no longer able to live by themselves but extremely hesitant about making a change. The staff at Brookdale welcomed us with open arms and make our loved one feel so special. There is such a wide variety of activities for the residents. The residents absolutely love it when they know there is music coming, it may be an "Elvis" impersonator, a Ladies choir from a local church, maybe a Country Western singer. They love it all. There is a salon , Housekeeping is taken care of and they enjoy their meals in the dining room, where they are able to interact with other residents and make new friends.
Mostly, we love the fact that the staff really cares.

Plz do not bring your loved one to this place. We took our loved one out of here and brought them to Sage Oaks! I was sceptical at first. After I saw the level of care, I was happy that I did!

Brookdale has allowed me to be assured that my Mother's needs are monitored and attended to by a caring and friendly staff.

My dad started in the Assisted Living side and has since moved to Dementia Care. It was wonderful to make an easy transition. Both sides are maintained well, everyone is friendly and helpful. They joke with my dad and make him feel very comfortable. A lot of issues can come up on the dementia side and everyone has been understanding, helpful and answer my questions and concerns. My dad is very concerned about cleanliness and often comments on how well they cleaned his unit. We could have moved to a newer facility but we love Brookdale Assisted Living in Lake Charles.

My Mother has been a resident at Brookdale for about a year now. She seems to be happy there and I enjoy visiting her there. She also enjoys the activities, although she's not much on the field trips. She has trouble with her speech and doesn't hear well. I wish there were more activities that she could enjoy but I realize she is limited in what she can do. Thank you to the staff for providing her a safe and comfortable environment. I love the residents as well.

My Dad has been a resident at Brookdale Lake Charles since 2017 and I couldn’t be happier! I am out of state and take comfort in knowing that he is safe and well cared for. He enjoys all of the benefits the community offers, especially the field trips. The staff has been exceptional with responding to my questions and assisting me and my Dad with anything that may arise. I am grateful to have the good people at Brookdale Lake Charles watching over my Dad and highly recommend this community.

In the past year we have seen some amazing changes occur at Brookdale. Mr. Randy Stelly has done a great job in assembling his team. Can't say enough good things about how much the activities and resident engagement has improved. But most importantly the staff's care and love they have for the residents is real. And then on top of all this, the remodel and update to the facility makes it warm and inviting. Thank all of you for taking such good care of my family member.
