Reviews

My husband and I invited another couple to join us in our cooking class. The four of us had a truly enjoyable evening. Chef Davide skillfully guided us through the preparation of the menu we had selected. He was an excellent instructor and we had such a fun time creating an absolutely delicious meal that we all thoroughly enjoyed!

We went on a Sunday night, The Comics Showcase was good. Alot of aspiring Comic talent, huge potential! The waitstaff was on point, had no issues. Fast and accommodating, they earned a big tip.
The house crew, door guy that wouldn't let ppl in to use the restroom until doors, not cool.
My friend left his phone, went back to get & they wouldn't let him in. Went back the next day it was gone, despite pinging in the club.
Just why? The staff, dude with the Mohawk, dick for no reason.

Ended up very very expensive, minimal two drinks and food don’t count. the comics aren’t that funny to me, I keep hearing a lot of old fashioned dirty jokes from dudes. CTT was much better.

Chef Davide did an excellent job guiding us in the class. The pre-class instructions were clear, in order to be ready to cook.
The helpful tips he shared along the way also made this a worthwhile experience.
Showing the participants what he was doing, pointing out the consistency of the risotto and gelato as we proceeded was key.
He was easy to understand and often checked if we were good or had questions.
I would enjoy taking another class from Chef Davide.

We loved Chef Maggie’s vegan French cooking class via Cozymeal. Despite having taken other cooking classes in the past, we learned new knife skills techniques and facts related to the meal from Maggie. She’s a delight to be around and we had fun cooking with her. We particularly appreciated how she set us up for success: focusing our efforts on chopping and tasting for balance, while explaining her cooking technique along the way. The meal was absolutely delicious. We are excited to make it again with her instruction in mind.

Chef Roxy was really engaging, patient and encouraging. Her explanations of what we were looking for, particularly in terms of texture were spot on. I was a little skeptical that our first attempt at falafel would be successful, but I have to say, they were really good - better than many restaurants I have been to. I recommend this class.

Did a dinner for two as a gift for my son and his friend. Glorious meal, great conversation, well executed evening at home with surf and turf.

Comedians were great!
2 drink minimum? Hate being forced to buy drinks (non alcohol counts but still hate it)

The comics were good but definitely the most expensive free tickets I've ever received - spent $50 for two regular beers. :-/

Nice venue. We sat at the front.
The implementation of their “2 drink minimum” is ridiculous and poorly thought out.
You have to buy 2 “drinks” per ticket. Their alcohol is like $18. So you are paying like $40 on top of a $30 ticket per person if you want alcohol.
But they also sell food and they also sell soda for $7. However if you’re hungry, the food won’t count towards this minimum. But buying water or sprite for $7 counts towards the minimum. ???
It doesn’t make any sense one way or another. There are several ways to implement this idea if they want more money.
You could increase the base price of the ticket and say it comes with 2 drinks included. You could say, you have to buy at least $20 from the bar/restaurant. Or you could make the alcohol cheaper so that people can get drunk and not have to consider getting soda to meet a minimum.
Also the soda is cheaper than a bottle of water.
I ended up paying $180 for a beer, a cocktail, chicken tenders, and two sodas plus 20% tip- on top of $60 for tickets.
It feels bad. The answer is not for me to “just order 4 sodas”. Figure it out.

We booked Chef Stefano for a class with our mom for her birthday, and we really enjoyed it. We also had a junior participant for a good portion of the class. With 3 generations in the class, Chef was friendly, funny, patient, and informative with all of us. We learned a lot about the food we were preparing and all had fun. Thanks, Chef!

We booked Culinary Artistas for our baby shower, and we really enjoyed the space.
Pros:
- There was plenty of space and seating for our guests, and there were even toys and books for the kids who attended.
- The kitchen had a ton of items in case we needed something (like extra cutting knives and forks).
- Really easy to coordinate with the venue and they were very prompt with answering any questions we had.
Cons:
- Although parking wasn't too difficult to find, it was a bit pricier simply because it's Ghirardelli Square.
- A lot of random people kept walking in the front door. In hindsight, we should have taped a "Private Event" sign on the door.

Great time ... it's been a Long time since the last time we were there .. But it was Fantastic... The Staff and Service was OUTSTANDING... Chris Estrada and the other Comedians were Hilarious.. We had a Great time... CHEERS and SEMPER FIDELIS...!!!!

The management is pretentious but the food was good for what it is. It was on the healthy side. I didn't like the first two comedians but the headliner kind of made it worth it almost. The comedian was a famous comedian and he was still just as funny as on television.
But the management has to let go of that petty stuff. I don't feel it's the actual staff workers I feel like it's being enforced by some invisible entity and it feels evil
I would also like to know there is no wheelchair access if you have a bag orthopedic issues please be prepared to walk up at least three flights of stairs there's also a very long walk. They also make you stand in line for a very long time

Drinks are a bit weak deco decent lots of couches

Had a blast here. Drink specials were awesome. Nice atmosphere and the djs had it slappin all night

Nice venue with two bars and a small stage. Restroom was a bit filthy today. Staff were kind and efficient.

I recently had my daughter's 8th birthday at Culinary Artistas & it was a perfect experience from start to finish. Booking it was professionally handled. Moreover, I made a mistake with scheduling & they accommodated my needs at the last minute - i'm eternally grateful for that. The kids loved the experience which was handled by 3 ladies who went above and beyond. It was a true team building experience as well as being fun and a super special experience for the group of girls. thanks so much!!

I had the absolute joy of hosting a Tech Mixer Networking event at the fabulous Fame Venue 🎉✨, and let me tell you, it was a breeze working with the owner, Francesca! 🌟
She was a gem - super friendly, incredibly supportive, and handled everything from setup to cleanup like a total pro 🙌.
All I had to do was rally the crowd, and boy, did we gather a fantastic group! 🏆
👍 Around 170 tech enthusiasts showed up, and we all had an amazing time networking, sharing ideas, and just enjoying the vibe. 🎉
A huge shoutout to Francesca and Fame Venue for making it an unforgettable experience! 🚀🎊👥

Our team had an amazing experience with Chef Dirk. We had a group of 16 and wanted to do something special but different during our annual holiday gathering so we choose a team building cooking class. We choose the Italian Pasta, and everyone had so much fun making and enjoy eating. Chef Dirk was awesome! Thank you again for the special evening...

Great bar!!! The guy in the Colombia jacket/bartender was incredible. A party of 40 people walked into this bar and was treated like royalty. Attentive service, strong drinks, clean venue, great DJ. Can’t say enough about this place so grateful for this wonderful memory. If you’re looking for a venture that will fit you this is the place. You’re welcome.

Watched a comic here, had a great time. I know I had trouble finding out the answer to this, so wanted to share the difference in seating tickets for those who wanted to know. First off, seating is pretty much first come first serve (open seating). However, the difference between Standard Ticket General Admission and the Preferred Seating General Admission tickets are that the Preferred Seating (while still not assigned) is for the first row tables right in front of the stage + the two left and right podium seating area. That's pretty much it, really. I bought the Standard ticket and managed to sit in the second row, you just need to be there early to make sure you get good seats.

Trendy, hip place to be when in San Francisco. Friendly staff who are very customer-centric. Bonus is the historic building and site of the original Mabuhay Gardens, known for the slam dancing scene.

The weekend brunch with Chef Mike was amazing!! The meal was as delicious as it looks on the menu! He was welcoming and personable. Everything was well organized, with the perfect amount of work for everyone to learn, prep and cook. We thoroughly enjoyed our Weekend Brunch experience with Chef Mike. He shared some great tips and tricks! This was our first time trying Cozymeal! He set the bar pretty high! Can’t wait for our next experience!

We stopped in to find friendly faces in a chill coffeehouse vibe. Francesca the owner was warm and inviting. We also met Eric, the manager who was cool and welcoming as well. We happened to stop in when they were filming a segment for Laugh SF with comedian Larry Beyah, who is hilarious and so fun (ig handle @heishysterical).
The space is unique and huge with lots of colorful and eclectic art. The owner emphasized their support for the art community, including Music, dance, comedy!
We will be back along with friends and hope to have a Community dance class there!

My team and I have worked with Culinary Artistas on multiple occasions over the last few years. We could not be more pleased with Vanessa and her team's amazing work in hosting both virtual and in-person events. The cooking classes, wine tasting, and over all experience are so great for team building events of any size! Highly recommend!!

I had the pleasure of organizing an event at Culinary Artistas and I couldn't be more thrilled with the outcome. The party was amazing and everything went off without a hitch.
One of the biggest reasons for the success of the event was the professionalism of Vanessa and her crew. From the moment we began planning the event, Vanessa was there to help us every step of the way. She was responsive, organized and always willing to go the extra mile to make sure our event was a success. On the day of the event, her team was equally as professional, they were attentive to our guests and made sure everything was running smoothly.
The space itself is also beautiful and welcoming. The atmosphere is perfect for any event, the decor is elegant, fun, and modern, and the lighting is perfect. The space has everything you need to throw a perfect event.
Culinary Artistas was perfect for our event and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to host an event. The space is beautiful, the staff is professional, and the location is perfect- by the water, easy parking- we could not ask for more.

I have had the pleasure of attending two separate events at the Culinary Artistas studio, both of which were organized and hosted by Culinary Artistas staff. These events were an absolute blast to say the least. The Artistas team does an amazing job making the experience fun, intimate, and interactive for all guests. They offer a wide variety of fun culinary and beverage packages as well as entertainment, music, and other activities. I will certainly be booking future events of my own, and recommending to others.

Culinary Artistas partnered with HR Girlfriends for a Saturday virtual cook-a-long class for its members. What a treat! We made Udon Noodles and they were very tasty. The entire session was engaging, fun, and informative. Food 🍲 and music 🎶 is the perfect way to start the weekend. I’m looking forward to bringing the cooking event to my organization to build stronger teams and engage employees.

I had a wonderful experience at Culinary Artistas. Vanessa was thorough and vibrant in her explanations of cuisine, culture, processes, and history. We enjoyed ourselves with music, flavors, fragrances... definitely a multi-sensory experience. If you love food and want to learn more about it from someone who loves food, too, this is the place for you and your kiddos.

The picture i posted don't give justice but this place is the bomb. They have a huge stage and full bar. Come for some great comedy on Thursdays after 7pm to catch some of the best comedians in the bay area, awesome drinks and karaoke as well. Check their website for more info on upcoming events. Our family and friends had such an amazing time celebrating our daughter's 10th birthday this weekend. Culinary Artista's exceeded our expectations, everything was plug n play, the kids loved baking the cakes and the view was incredible.

Awesome event space for smaller parties
