Excellent put in for access to the Tennessee River. I felt totally safe leaving our truck and trailer in this parking area. Very nice access to the Tennessee River and safe well-established neighborhood surrounding area.

Some boaters leave their boats unattended and go to River Drifters for a meal. Not intended use of small dock. Past weekend there were TWO unattended with no way for others to put boat in or out. We had to step across a unattended boat to get to ours. There is a sign stating do not leave boat!!!!

Suck creek boat ramp is much better that 10 years ago. I launched tandem axle boat with ease.

Pretty easy in and out for a SUP or kayaker. There's a gravel lot with concrete launch for small engine craft. To the right in the grassy field there's an alternate path down to launch your SUP. The alternative launch probably wouldn't be the easiest for a kayak.

Technically the Suck Creek Boat Launch so know that is your actual destination. Not sure why it says it’s closed. Anyway, dropped our kayaks in and got out at the Raccoon Mountain Trailhead. It was approximately a four hour trip with some stops. You paddle through mountain and mostly look at houses. There were not a lot of areas with woods on both sides. Boats were very courteous to our whereabouts and the river is wide enough where nobody is inconvenienced. I definitely felt safe. At Suck Creek Boat Launch there is a huge gravel area prime for parking after dropping in your kayaks or boat. Small dock which aids with getting your vessel in and out. Was there on a Friday morning with only two other cars in the parking area. We ubered back to Suck Creek Boat Launch, but would definitely be ideal to have a second car at the end.

BEWARE.. Just had catalytic converter STOLEN off my truck while I was fishing. Was told by another victim that they stole 3 last month at the same ramp. Please everyone who has had a problem Report it. so everyone will know.

Plenty of room, good access to the river. Most of the time this place is not too busy so you can park a rig and trailer pretty quickly.

Beautiful little side park on the Tennessee River, perfect for loading a boat or kayak. The dock is good too, lots of bluegill
