A nice place to feed the ducks and chill out, as long as you don't mind the smell of the river

Nice little area with benches i like to go there after picking up some fast food and enjoy the view while i eat.

A nice place to eat a meal and look at the river flowing it also has chair swings and for those with boats looking to go fishing it doubles as a ramp for your boat.

I didn't realize how nice they fixed it up till the other day. It was beautiful out and my mother and I wanted to be outside. They have picnic tables with big umbrellas and we sat on one of the swings and watched the geese and ducks. Will definitely be going back

It's, nice to hang out for awhile. You can fish if you want to. Sit under the umbrella. Sit on the swing. Good place to chill out.

This is one of my favorite spots to launch my kayak. There is nothing special other then plenty of parking, no fee. No resident permit what so ever. This part of the river is not affected by tides. There is plenty of fishing, fish is not edible. If you go South, there is a small island maintained by volunteers. I go here when I have limited time.

I always come here to see the ducks and other birds. Appalled by all the garbage floating in the water, including styrofoam, bottles of liquor, and plastic bags. The water is toxic.
Was shocked to find today (new years day), 3 pet turtles frozen to death at the boat ramp (it's 8 degrees Fahrenheit). Someone abandoned their pets at the river and these poor animals froze.
Please don't discard pets!!

Basic sandy river access. CONS: No pier. Has floating litter on the banks. Very close to busy roads on both sides. PROS: still a nice wide river in a rural area. Ample free parking.
