Great museum showing how public transport has changed throughout the years. Very informative and a great place to take children. There is a café there should you need something to eat while visiting. There are some great London Transport gifts in the gift shop but they are very expensive

nice selection but for some reason we were not allowed to try on shirts. No sign was posted and there were full length mirrors! I asked why i couldnt try on a shirt and received no answer

Had a great time at the free adult explorer evening, so much quieter to explore and less stressful without kids around. It's great that there's several interactive displays and a sensory room. Also that you can go on a few tubes/trains stepping back in history, and overall, the museum is great for learning for all ages of Londons history of transport. At the time, only 2 floors were open but the museum is a great location in the heart of Covent Garden.
An absolute must if you visit London. It has beautiful galleries (modern art) and a nice roof top with a view over the Thames and the city!

Tate Modern, though renowned, can sometimes feel a bit overrated. While it houses an impressive collection of contemporary art, not every exhibit may resonate with all visitors. The Turbine Hall is a unique space, but individual reactions to modern art can vary widely. Nonetheless, the museum's commitment to diverse and thought-provoking works is commendable. The panoramic views from the viewing level are a highlight, offering stunning vistas of London. Tate Modern is worth a visit, but be prepared for a mixed experience, as art appreciation is highly subjective.
Love this place! It’s perfect for kids as it has so much to see and do! I love how even from a young age, children can the joy this museum. The play area is great, but I really love how you can go inside trains and buses - really exciting for young ones. Definitely a must visit if you’re around Covent Garden 😌
There are so many things to choose from. Wonderful staff and thoughtful.
To anyone visiting Westminster Abbey, I highly recommend sparing a few moments to browse through the store. Its a clean shop with helpful staff that has some good quality (albeit expensive) souvenirs. I got some really nice woven tote bags and some traditional wine gum candies. The staff was incredibly helpful and brought me to the downstairs area (closed off at the time) upon request so I could get a specific bag design I saw before.
Variety of things and many souvenirs. Stamps, cards etc. are all affordable. They also have amazing quality hoodies and shirts.
We visited it recently and very few of the free exhibits had changed in the last couple of years. I'm no artist, but it struck me I had the talent to recreate the vast majority of the things we saw here. Tate take note - you need to showcase work that the average person (NOT you're average visitor) sees as being talented.

Great palace of historical interest
One of the best museums in London and in the world. Free guided tours are available in specific parts of the exhibitions every day. The entry is free. The rooftop restaurant and cafe have a great view of London's Thames but might be very busy especially during the weekend. A must visit for all Londoners and tourists. You can spend 30 minutes up to a whole day if you are also visiting the paid exhibitions. For the paid exhibitions buying tickets in advance is recommended, since they are usually sold out for days or weeks ahead.
Great insight to the London public transport through the ages, some great things for all ages to do with volunteers carrying out show and tell. Cafe on site with a good variety of products available in the shop, I'll certainly be getting something to remind my Lindon born-btead dad for Christmas something to remind him of travelling on the buses, trams and underground back in his early years. A great couple of hours spent there.
Annoying loud music everywhere in the store, I had to get out to the street for a while, I felt dizzy. Quite a lot of items but more expensive than in Camdem or Portobello

It was fun. I like the fact that you buy annual ticket and can come back more in a year if you wish. And the annual ticket isn't expensive. Also great that children under 17 can go free and people on universal credit has discount too. Well done TfL. ❤️

It's a store that's currently operating under the name "LONDON SUVENIORS". I chose one lighter and asked for the price and was informed of the price of £2.99. I made a credit card payment and confirmed that £299.99 was paid as soon as the receipt came out. I immediately asked for a refund, but it was rejected. Even though I said I would call the agency and the police, he mocked me saying racist things "Cing-Cheng-Chong."
The museum was great, don't get me wrong, it was only a lot smaller than expected.
We spent a lot of time reading all the signs and features of the exhibit and still it took us only 3 hours to go through it all. If you rush it, you can do it in much less time.
Recommended? Yes (and no), this museum is recommended in combination with other activities nearby like the National Gallery and if you're interested in the subject. If not, then you may better spend your time elsewhere

Prices are a little steep but expected. A great variety of items and great that they have the shop outside, allowing for a return visit without the cost of entry to the tower. Very friendly staff and the shop is tidy and well presented.
This is a wonderful place with centuries of history, and home to loads of scientific discoveries. My kids enjoyed walking around the place. It has some amazing views of London. Make sure you visit the camera obscura, you'll have to queue, but it's worth the wait.
It was a wonderful day spent at the Greenwich Park and Observatory. We enjoyed the stunning views from the high vantage point. Visiting the Observatory itself is of a great historic value, seeing the Prime Meridian of the World - Longitude 0º. The line divides the eastern and western hemispheres of the Earth - just as the Equator divides the northern and southern hemispheres. It gives a very exciting feeling standing on the 0° line.

I went today to the Greenwich Observatory and I walked for 18 minutes to get there and I had to walk so much but I didn’t know there was another entrance so a had to walk up really long steep hill. It was able to get there and it was so nice. It was really cool to see everything from up top and get really good pictures.
I was served by a lovely gentleman who kindly went beyond customer service asking me about my visit and packing my gifts. There's a range from stationery to biscuits to tea to select from!
A pretty nice souvenir shop with a good selection of high quality items, including food, pens, glassware, and stuffed animals. The assorted chocolates are quite delicious. However, most of the wares are quite expensive, except some of the cookies. Overall, I would recommend checking it out to see for yourself.

I loved having a look around here! So many weird and wonderful art pieces you can see for free. No ticket or booking needed for the free exhibits you can just walk right in, and of course it's easy to find. We had a great time just wandering about and discussing the art!
Went to see the "Infinity Mirrors" exhibition. Fantastic. Didn't have to wait to access this exhibition as I had a paid ticket but you did need to queue to view two of the pieces whilst in there. Worth the wait and you can make repeat visits. I loved it. The Tate Modern is such a fantastic place full stop- I will always go there if I'm on a trip to London.
Great souvenier shop, plenty of items to choose from. Because it's summer they may have been out of a number of items like pins, stickers, patches. But great selection overall, in a great location.

It is one of my favourite museums in London and it has a lot to offer. It change its display, collections, pretty often so each two months you can definitely go there and see new art 🖼️ it has nice spacious unique rooms and nice cafes inside. It has as well amazing view point to enjoy view of the nearby area. Totally must go if you are a tourist and it’s your first time in London ❤️
I was in London last month. While I was there I went to the Palace and I had gone to this store. I saw a blue sweatshirt in the window with the London red circle logo on it. I went inside the store because I wanted that item in either a men's xxl or xxxl but I didn't see it. I also wanted a matching baseball cap. I didn't see that as well. So I went on your website and didn't see it there either. How can I get those items. I live in New Jersey, 🇺🇸. SO I can't come to the store to buy them.
A very nice place to be with family, friends and young kids. The place is so lovely. The information is well spread out throughout the area. The walk towards the Prime meridian is steep but scenic. You can see the skyline of Thames river. It is better to have the tickets advance. There is also a nice garden before going to the top of the observatory. We loved that place also. The museum is very informative. I love the section about the utensils and the swords and information on ships. Don’t miss that. Try reading something. It will give a glimpse into the life of the past sailors/ sea life.
Sardor was wonderful! The shop is cute; odern and not overpriced. It’s also right across from Buckingham Palace! Classic and classy souvenirs with world class kind helpful staff. (Thanks Sardor!-he’s the guy at the Register in the pic!)

Great little day trip! The museum has a total of 3 floors showing the history of different modes of transportation in London. From carriages and boats to trains, busses and the tube, everything gets a fair share. Each exhibition piece has detailed information and is presented in a very cute and playful manner. Great for kids too. We spent about 3h here. We were particularly impressed by the animation showing the evolution of the tube map over time.
Wanted some coronation memorabilia,not an awful lot with KR on,got a tea towel. Early days I suppose.

It's a nice museum with lots of history. It is worth visiting for the nice views, the meridian, and the telescope views. There is a planetarium as well, but if you want to visit, you have to book separately as it's not included in the museum general ticket. We've prebooked our visit on a Saturday, and there were a lot of people. The museum is big and it takes some time to see everything. It's a nice experience for both adults and kids. If you are into science and astronomy, it's a must! And the view from the hill is just amazing!
Ripped me off. Charged me 10 pounds for a bottle of drink that costs no more than £1. No prices were displayed. When the man put the price in the card machine,he did it in such a way that I couldn't see the price. This is a usual practice for them from what I can read from the reviews.

Nice shop but we encountered a really annoying vendor, make us wait 10 minutes and no respect during the payout
Very Good well stocked shop with good quality gifts for all pockets. Some amazing high end China downstairs, but a bit outside our price range! We have now discovered there is also an online shop, so you can always shop for those delicate items after your return home.
Really lovely shop, only went there for air and space from crowds but ended up shopping there. Very classy memorabilia although expensive. Plenty for the coronation of king Charles, Christmas decs, souvenirs for the abbey although it was closed. Just loved it.
We visited a lot of souvenir shops around the city but on our final day, we ended up walking from the souvenir shops in Trafalgar Square back to Cool Britannia, which we ended up visiting three times. Their souvenirs were higher quality and officially licensed at the same prices, if not lower than the Trafalgar Square shops, which often had knock-offs. When looking for things that scream “London” or the monarchy, even more niche items like Beatrix Potter items, I definitely recommend Cool Britannia.
It also helps that the shop isn’t swarming with people, blaring loud music, and is very clean without clutter, boxes, and general trash laying around. And the workers there were very kind

One of the best souvenir shops I’ve visited, in my many years of taking friends sightseeing.
Great selection of goods and my friend was in her element. All the staff were friendly, helpful and engaging.
I had such a laugh with them, and love the red mini car at the front of the store.

Beautiful souvenir shop based around Buckingham Palace and the Royal Family. The souvenirs are all very high quality. In addition to textiles, there are also porcelain and merchandise. The staff is particularly friendly and courteous and gives very transparent advice

The best souvenir shop in the UK!!! I bought some post cards from London Souvenir from the USA by sending them a letter asking for 5 postcards and instead gave me 13 postcards along with a keychain!!! It was incredible!!!
A couple of friends and I visited this store, around the corner from the hotel they were staying at, to get some souvenirs to take back with them on their flight. While we were browsing we were followed by one of the store employees who stood and stared at us and followed us around the store. I did not see the same behavior for the other store patrons in the shop (there were several other people in the store as well); however, none of the other patrons were Black. Leading me to believe we were being followed because we were Black. Not to mention between all of us numerous items were purchased. Terrible experience and quite racist behavior.
I am a US customer, I would like to say 5 star rating on all levels. Packing was efficient and I would assume took an hour ( it was a lot to pack ) or so, it arrived within a week. Overall amazed at how far technology has come and also very happy. Communication via email was also efficient.
Has some really cool items to buy! We walked away with a Christmas ornament is a shape of a bear that’s wearing a guard’s costume! The shop isn’t too busy either.

Store was well laid out and easy to navigate. I did find the staff working the counter to be a bit rude. It’s likely a one off but it did impact my experience enough that I would tell others. A reminder that tourists are typically a bit unfamiliar with currency or cultural norms. Kindness is free and easy to give.

Kensington Palace Shop really stands by their products, and the staff was so kind and helpful when we had a problem with a lovely ring my partner purchased for me. When we got back to the hotel and I went to take the ring out of the box, I noticed it was scuffed on the face. It was not very noticeable, not even while in the box, just under bright lighting. Since we had the ring for less than a day, we brought it back to the store hoping that they would stand by their quality promise. Sure enough, they did. It was the smoothest exchange process and the lady who helped us was more than accommodating in making sure the next ring was perfect. No issues with the 2nd ring so far, and I’ve been wearing it nonstop for a few days now. The staff will also help you fill out VAT forms. Overall, it was such a pleasant experience. Many thanks to her and the wonderful staff in this shop!

Great day out at the Queen Victoria exhibition. Visited the cafe and shop for a quick drink. Good size hot chocolate which was a generous size and delicious. The exhibition was fabulous, a real onsite to the Queen especially as a child.

It was the first time I had ever seen a loving cup, a big mug with two handles, one on each side. The shop assistants did not just explain what kind of cup that was, but also explained to me the meaning or origin behind the different drawings on the cups, and when they were or would be used.
On the whole, the gift items are very attractive and they have been displayed very nicely in the shop.
