I have high expectations when it comes to movie theaters but overall this is a decent one. The interior is not particularly interesting and does not present you with a ‚grandiose‘ feeling that you get in some more historical locations. The number of special movie screens, such as IMAX, is quite limited as well. Overall a fine experience but nothing special.
I love this theatre! Great movies, easy location to walk to with restaurants/cafes all around if I want to eat before or after show. Love being able to take my wine in to the theatre with me too!
Above average theater! Clean and there were comfortable seats. Landmark isn't great for their nonrefundable service fees they charge with tickets, but in balance their prices are similar to any theater in the DC area.
Gem of a theater! I love this place. It’s convenient for me to walk there and has a nearby parking garage if you have to drive or bike since it is right off the crescent trail. I love that I can get a glass of wine for my movie watching. They have a full bar! Popcorn is good. Seats are really really comfortable and clean. And the online ordering of tickets is great. Reserving seats is also a big plus! Happy they survived through Covid. Everyone should go see movies!
If I could give three and half I would.

Pros:
Great location and walkable from metro stop.
Newer and big
Seat cushions are comfortable
Bar next to concession stand

Cons:
There’s like no space between the seat in front of you and your seat. It’s very hard for people to walk in front of you to get to their seat. My fear were stepped on multiple times

It was a little hard to find due to construction
A lovely theater. Online tickets were super easy and linked with my Google Pay. It's easy to find. You go down a huge escalator to get to the theatre. The chairs don't recline, but are comfy. $10 for a large popcorn with free refills is a steal, but the popcorn wasn't great when I went. It tasted stale. No service on phone in the theater, which some might see as a positive or a negative. Prices were good. I will give it another chance, but if popcorn tastes stale again, then I will find a new theater. I looooovvvveee movie popcorn.
This is an absolutely lovely cinema, it has that cozy Landmark feel with more unique refreshments than your average theatre (and a diverse array of snacks, beverages, and even tea!).

The actual theatres are small with comfortable chairs, though they don't have that massive, overwhelming feel that many theatres do -- but that makes it really enjoyable for certain films.

I highly recommend checking out any Landmarks in the area and enjoying a really unique experience.
It has a convenient downtown Bethesda location. Since the pandemic, few independent movies are being made, but I am happy to report that they usually manage to find a few. The theater is mostly well kept, except for the floors of the individual theaters themselves. I frequently find their floors littered with popcorn & other items. The staff could also smile a bit more, friendliness is not their go to response to a customer. The concession stand has the usual lineup.
