We had afternoon tea here and it was fantastic! The staff was incredible and described all of the food and ingredients. The scones were nice and warm and the balance of savory and sweet was wonderful! I would highly recommend afternoon tea at The Lobby Lounge!
Had the most incredible classic Swiss white asparagus and veal cutlet with rosti. The champagne was excellent and the atmosphere of the room was great. It was during the April Boogg festival and we got some great shots of the parade through the window (some attached). It gets 4 stars though because their credit card thing wasn’t working and I decided to help them out by giving them cash. Getting cash is very expensive when you travel so it was like paying an extra 5% plus I have to go bank to the cash machine and they didn’t give me any sort of discount or even seem to appreciate it much.
Simply outstanding and one of the best vegetarian restaurants we have been to so far. Hiltl mostly serves Swiss classics and comfort food and does so exceptionally well. The setting is, however, rather reminiscent of a fancier restaurant. Certainly a must-see if you come to Zürich.
Haus Hiltl, famous as being the oldest vegetarian restaurant in the world, is conveniently located in the heart of Zürich and is a beautiful Multi-Floor restaurant, offering a generous vegetarian/vegan Buffet as well as à la carte options. We went to Haus Hiltl for a dinner date and chose the a la carte option. The service was quick and very friendly. In terms of the food, the vegan tartar was incredibly delicious and the Thai Red Curry was flavourful, creamy and nicely balanced. We definitely look forward to our next visit!
The first time I visited the Terrasse, I was so impressed by the atmosphere and experience that I decided to return the following day. The staff were helpful, friendly, and welcoming. The food and drinks were superb. The bartender, Claudio, makes the best drinks I have ever tried in Switzerland; and I’m not exaggerating when I say that. Besides the drinks on the menu, he also creates drinks from scratch, and I loved all of them. Terrasse is a place I will definitely be visiting again. I would recommend trying most things on the menu, but especially the drink “porn star,” the steak tartare and the paccheri caviar.
Very nice food and atmosphere in the centre of Zürich. The open ravioli with vegetables was delicious as well as the crepes Suzette. Ver nice and recommendable
Trotz mässiger Belegung 20 Minuten gewartet um mal eine Getränkekarte zu bekommen. Nochmals 10 Minuten gebraucht um zu bestellen. Bestellung ging vergessen. Mit einem neuen Kellner wurde es markant besser, das miserable Gesamterlebnis liess sich aber nicht mehr retten. Schade um die einst gute Bar. 1 Stern.
Als langjähriger Gast, welcher schon etliche 100K im Restaurant des Hotels ausgeben hat, kriegte ich in der Bar nicht mal ein Stuhl, um mir einen Drink zu genehmigen obwohl gefühle 20 Stühle unbesetzt waren. Früher war die Bar auf 5 Stern Niveau aber heute reicht es nicht mal für ein Stern. SCHADE!
It's a pay-by-weight concept with a wide variety of options available at the buffet, spanning a diverse range of cuisines. Personally, I found that the Thai dishes stood out and had a more appealing taste compared to other options. In general, it offers a decent selection of vegetarian dishes, but it doesn't quite reach the level of extraordinary
A must in summer! Staff is super friendly and the atmosphere is so nice, especially in the evening - I suggest you make a reservation. Food is delicious, but on the pricey side.
Fancy place and while the appetizers were average, main course were super delicious with decent portions. Risotto with tiger prawns is pretty awesome.
Bar onyx staff very bad service looking and make people uncomfortable instead of bringing the right orders, they make fun of clients. Mind your business instead of listening clients discussion. Thank you
We liked all the drinks that Claudio made. All my drinks were just improvised, they r truly amazing, and with strong personality. Highly recommend !
Totally worth it for a luxury food experience. I had a huge plate that I couldnt finish and was 30 francs… but probably only need about about 70% of that… so probably could have spent about 22… open spaciousness and light… great host at the front door explained everything… best to get to the buffet and self serve for value… oh they had gluten free bread in a wrapped packet too.
A great vegetarian restaurant, with the best variety in all of the city served in a buffet. The food is charged by weight so you only pay for what you eat from the buffet, unless you have the appetite, then you can take an unlimited meal for 63 CHF. Absolutely worth it if you are in the mood for a heavy meal.

Absolutely one of my favorite restaurants in the world. There are more choices in the buffet than you can manage to try, even if you choose the all you can eat option. There’s so much variety! It’s global vegetarian cuisine, and it’s all delicious. The restaurant itself is super cool, hip and beautiful. This restaurant is iconic for sure. Absolutely recommend!
Beautiful restaurant, on the rooftop of Globus, which is a super trendy department store. We had small appetizers since we went at 5pm. The best was the steak tartare and the veal.
I had a horrific experience in this place. I am a solo traveller and I went to this place to have a salad. I was treated so badly. The servants shouldn't make assumptions that every women who are sitting alone is an escort. The salad was lower than average.
A gear place to go for a spontaneous drink and bite to eat. Centrally located with a view of the Limmat. Nicely decorated . Extensive bar menu. Can be busy on weekends but a cool vibe .
Best options for vegetarians ever! The restaurant works as a buffet for vegetarians. You get to choose between a breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffet depending on when you arrive. You can also order a la carte if you visit the back of the restaurant. They give you almost too many good options. Pricing is based on weight so the you pick up a plate, fill it, then weigh it at the bar and pay. Bread is excluded from the weighing. You'll very quickly break over 20 Francs but you'll love your meal.

Das Essen ist nicht schlecht habe aber mehr erwartet. Die Kellnerin wahr freundlich aber es fehlt die Leidenschaft und Freude an der Arbeiten . Es währe sicherlich ein Punkt an den Sie noch arbeiten könnten.
Was there last night, music was so loud that you could not even talk to each other. Empty tables with glasses and people outside smoking, so you could not even see if the table is free or not. Service lady told us its all full and we could not get a table.
Very nice restaurant. The atmosphere is really nice, the food is great and the plates and deco as well. The pumpkin soup and the mushroom pasta were really good. Just the mezzo could have been a bit better, more authentic. But the Location is perfect next to the train station and on top of the Globus shopping mall. Recommended!

Generous peanuts during the day. Decent cocktail menu and wine list. I tried some wines we can't get in the US. Clientele is like sitting in the lobby of the UN.

I came here for my birthday and the food was good I was happy with my muscles and I didn’t want fries so they made me vegetables as a side which I enjoyed. My husband enjoyed his food as well the mashes were really tasty. The interior is beautiful and the restaurant has a really bright and inviting vibe. The only downside was the service takes a while as the food took quite some time to come and no one comes to check on you at any point.
We found this bar after a day of walking around Zurich. We definitely weren't dressed for the occasion but were invited in anyway. Unfortunately the outside seating area was closed due to the weather that day but we were sat at a comfortable table inside with nice views to the outside. We got drinks and desserts that were absolutely lovely. The Clover Club cocktail was amazing! The price was to be as expected but worth it for the atmosphere.

Truly this is the world best incredible vegetarian restaurant & bar. Also, The biggest veg buffet I have ever seen in Zürich. They have so many options in foods also the desserts. The Vegetarian lovers have a best selections there. Also Non-Veg lovers can try theirs foods. The Buffet is pay-by-weight. Not cheap, but very good. In my suggestion don’t go on noon because they will have a big crowd and you have to waiting for the tables. But, when you visit on evening or maybe dinner you will have lot of places. Also they have a restaurants.

Francois made me the best coffee we have had in Europe! Was so delicious. The ambience was fantastic and we were made to feel very welcome!

Really nice cocktail bar, good cocktails, kind and attentive staff. Clean toilets, which is a huge plus. Easy to reach as it's located near the Zurich main station. Only downside is that being in the city and at the ground floor there is no view.

I ordered steak. The meat itself was great however the vegetables were dry. The burger and the curry my friends ordered looked quite good too. When ordering drinks our orders arrived separately because drinks had to be brought over from the bar.

Drinks are good, service is very unusual. We visited as a couple to toast on something. Drinks came late and 10‘ apart, the later drink served totally out of style, after cancellation of the order. Instead of apologies we had been told how unlucky we had been as there was a group ahead of us, and how stressful and so forth. Didn’t need a story like this at the time. Deal with that professionally, please. Still had to pay.
Fantastic place to hangout with buddies and enjoy drinks. The staff were friendly and welcoming. I was there during a football match (screened live) and had a great time. The location is great too. So all-in-all a recommendable place that I would be looking forward to return to next time I’m in Zürich.

Sadly very disappointing. Interior quite nice. Espresso was ok, but it came with a side Of water with weird pulp/flakes into. Orange juice was also from the tetra pack. Can’t recommend.
For lunch we had a beef hamburger and club sandwich. The service is a bit slow. We waited 30 minutes to eat. But staffs are very friendly with smile. The quality of food very good but taste is ok for me. ( not wow )

Great selection of wine. And the staff are attentive and professional.
Had a Moskau Mule - very refreshing during summer. The cocktail was very good. However they put a slice of cucumber (instead of mint) in it - which normally accompanies gin (London Mule) and not vodka.
The waitress was nice and made the effort to talk in English. The terrace is lovely, but limited place. Five star rating :)
