Pros: public (free) use side never crowded, several shooting positions longest lane is 80yds.
CLEAN! (and please keep it that way)
Plenty shade in the summer, cooler than most public access ranges
Cons: The mosquitoes! Not sure of the species but they have become immune to deep Woods OFF.
Recommend users join the A.Archers club and using the buddy system in the 3D range (members only and event days)

Love this place. I can’t go very often because I live farther away now, but it has everything I want: a little privacy, maintained targets, and plenty of different distances at which to test myself.

Very beautiful place to shoot. Mostly wooded with semi private lanes.

My husband and I were planning to go here to practice shooting our Recurves. Well I prefer not to leave my puppy at home for long periods of times so we had message the group on facebook around 12pm. No replies. Not even an email back. So we ended up going and taking our puppy with us. When we pulled in today, you could see a sign that says pets need to be on a leash. The place was quiet and we only saw like 3 people while being there from 2pm to 5pm. The place was well kept up on the cleaning. After getting home and washing up, the group had FINALLY replied saying they prefer that we don't take our dog. Understandable with it being an archery range, but it made us mad because clearly there is a sign that says you can bring them. It just would have been different if they informed us to keep her behind us while we were shooting.

Stopped by for the first time. Great facility. Bring bug spray as they advertised, there are a few ticks this time of year, glad I saw them on my pants.

I learned archery here! It's a very calm enviornment and the people are friendly. You'll always feel welcome.

Best place to sling some arrows for FREE! There are 4 different practice ranges that are open to the public, and a complete field course for members only. Everyone there is friendly and willing to offer help anytime you need. You may very well stand next to a state or national level shooter/champion, and not have any idea since they’re so down to earth.

This is one of the best place in the Anne Arundel county. This place is perfect to learn and practice Archery. They have weekend shoots, Animal shoot, 3D shoot in winter. Two times in a year they also teach Archery to little Kids and Adults, for that you have contact them. Membership is very cheap. There are two full ranges. It covers all type of difficulties up hill shoot, down hill shoot, 100 yard target, 10 yard target, shooting other side of Creek and many more. During weekend shoots there's food avaliable for purchase at very minimal coast.
