My daughter has attended Keynsham Stagecoach since she was 6 years old, and is now 12, she looks forward every weekend to it. The teachers are wonderful, supportive and fun, the shows are of a high standard and there are good opportunities to take exams. Highly recommend.

The warmth and kindness of the staff is matched by the joy students seem to feel for the craft they're learning. It was an absolute joy to see them perform and I'll gladly see a show here again!
Lovely location near the train station, friendly upbeat teachers that help engage me! I love the different variations we do during the class and the different routines we learn too. It helps going over the same routine from before to help me practise as well. It feels very welcoming, I didn’t expect to have a change of teacher but it’s nice to have new people and experiences! They have been great in answering all my questions online and in the class. The single cubicle toilets are also amazing being gender neutral and private! Decent price for classes and I love how there are term times and higher up levels I can end up going up to. Perfect duration of the class too where it is just about enough for my energy levels where I feel tired towards the end.
My daughters have flourished since joining BSPA 2 years ago. The creative team are all extremely talented and experienced professionals who nurture their students' love of theatre in a friendly and inclusive environment. There are a variety of classes available, as well as private singing and music lessons. The annual musical, which is performed to a very high standard, also gives the children an opportunity to audition in front of a panel of industry professionals. There are also many other opportunities to perform locally throughout the year. They also have an annual summer school which is loads of fun and gives some of the London theatre summer schools a run for their money! Parking is also very easy, which is a plus. All in all, BSPA is a fantastic stage school that enables your child to reach their full potential - we love it!
8 years of BSPA in two locations. My son has gone from boy to man through the care of the school. Especially through lockdown when the one to one singing lessons with Miss Amanda were the highlight of the week. The last two big shows - Adam’s family and Legally Blonde were amazing and the children had so much fun.
I would definitely recommend BSPA. My daughter is a student there. She absolutely loves it. She has been enrolled since it moved location to Warmley. It is so convenient and parking is very easy.
Amanda, Sam, Sophie and Chloe are brilliant teachers. They have really increased her confidence and ability in acting and singing.
She has private singing lessons with Amanda who has increased her range and repertoire, and has just started piano lessons with Chloe, which she is really enjoying.

Julia is a fantastic coach, and cares for her student's very much, she is a confident caring and very driven tutor to making sure all students bring out the very best in themselves... if my children had their time again I would definitely have sent my boys to her...

Our two daughters has been with Julia for few years now, they both love the lessons and every week they look forward for the lessons with her.
Julia has been working 1 -1 with them, what they learn from Julia's lessons is something that they cannot usually learn from a school class room setting.
Julia motivates them, encourages them and most importantly instills confidence in them.

In the 2 years my child has been a student at Stand and Deliver they have grown in confidence amazingly and truly discovered their love of the dramatic craft. Julia really encourages her students to develop both social and dramatic skills in her very welcoming group. Their most recent production of Blood Brothers was a success on all accounts and the passion every member put into their performance goes to show just how good Julia is at what she does, helping students develop both performance and production skills. A truly amazing group, highly recommended.
What an amazing group! The are like a family and their production of Blood Brothers (December 2022) was the best youth theatre production I have ever seen! What is so amazing is that Julia delivers such a professional, industry-standard drama training whilst teaching her classes in such a warm, kind and inclusive way that everyone feels welcome and valued. If you want to build confidence, learn a plethora of new skills, make friends and develop your talents with a professional who has been in the industry for many years then this is the place for you!!!
Julia started working with my daughter who had extreme anxiety but was desperate to become an actress. My daughter tried many groups before, but found them too, overwhelming and always left. She did sessions with Julia online as we lived so far away. Julia built her confidence and brought her out of her shell until she got to the stage where she felt that she could join a drama group. Now she has been to her first audition and excelled, and she has four roles in an upcoming production of Alison Wonderland with multiple lines in multiple scenes. This wouldn’t have been possible without Julia’s help.

I recommend Julia! Using drama as a tool, Julia has tailored sessions with my son utilizing his own interests and experiences to help him develop skills, fluency and confidence in conversation and performance. She clearly understands how to get the best out of children. Sessions are fun and varied. Recommended!

My son joined the theatre group last year - he was specifically interested in this group as it’s all aspects of theatre production. In the space of a few months he’s had the experience of performing in a amazing production whilst also helping with the sound effects for it. It’s a really welcoming group and my son looks forward to group each week.
My two boys have been at Stagecoach Keynsham since they were four/five (Reception age), they absolutely loved Early Stages and several years on continue to look forward to each session now they are in Main Stages. The confidence Stagecoach Keynsham has given them to speak and perform in front of others is great, it's a wonderful skill to have. All the teachers are brilliant and enthusiastic, my children enjoy every session. It's all fantastically run by Olivia, who's a great support for everything parents need to know (classes, performances, etc). Highly recommended.
My daughter Taylor has been with the amazing team at Stagecoach Keynsham for almost 4 years. In this time the skills and confidence she has gained have been invaluable which will help her in all areas of life moving forward. The students study for PAA awards and also an option of Lamda exams which demonstrate dedication and strong personal presentation. I honestly cannot recommend Stagecoach Keynsham enough. Best decision we have made. Huge thanks to Olivia and the whole team - they are all lovely and so helpful - and really do bring out the very best in each child - we look forward to the years ahead and lots more fun at Stagecoach Keynsham!
My daughter attended Stagecoach Keynsham for many years. The standard of teaching was exceptional and she was surrounded by the most wonderful of peer influences. Her confidence benefitted hugely and she had the most amazing experiences. I can't recommend them all highly enough.

My son is just starting a 3 year BA Acting course and was awed by the audition process, the friendliness of the staff and the helpfulness of older students. When he came out of the final audition (a full day affair) he was absolutely buzzing at what he had seen and experienced, and they skillfully dealt with managing disappointment by ensuring all candidates that to get this far was no fluke but a real expression of their skill and worth. If this is your calling, then it surely is worth trying to get in.
I absolutely love the big act... its sociable, nice people there and all In all a great place. Plus I love doing all the dance routines.

It's been such a pleasure working with everyone here for the past 10 years. All of the teachers are amazing and will push you to the best of your ability. Olivia, the principal, is very lovely and will help you with anything. I will never forget any of the performances I did with Stagecoach Keynsham! Thank you for everything <3
Alice and Manu are such great role models and leaders of Threefold. They share their passion and joy for drama and performing arts with the whole group and it is infectious. My son attends the session at Easton Community centre every week and he simply loves it. I have seen his confidence grow in the time he has been attending. I can't fault Threefold and feel privileged that my son has secured a place with them. Thank you Alice and Manu...this is just what Farley needed and wanted.
Threefold are an amazing theatre group. Both Alice and Manu are full of compassion and joy on what they do. After every session the children are so energized and happy. I would recommend Threefold for any budding dramatist in a heartbeat. Thank you.
Lack of diversity.
My six year old absolutely adores Perform - we’ve been particularly lucky in the Redland branch to have Amy, the world’s sunniest, most professional producer in charge. She has gone out of her way to be welcoming and ensure that our daughter felt part of something terrific from week one. Hard recommend!
Olivia is great and all the staff are lovely at Stagecoach in Keynsham. We had brilliant 7 years of great memories, performances and watching our kids do amazing things on stage we have not expected them to be capable of. Thank you.

it’s good here but they should really focus on friendships more. i got bullied here and left because they didn’t do anything. it’s also really expensive.
This week we have been to see all the children and students from The Big Act at the Bristol Hippodrome in West End Alive. What an amazing show. There is some exceptional talent from the youngest to the oldest students. Not only was it entertaining it was professional and polished.
What a feat to organise such a remarkable show with all those children and students involved. And what a brilliant experience for them to perform in such a wonderful setting with professional musical theatre performers. My daughter was buzzing from the experience of the whole day from rehearsals right through to actual show. Well done to all those involved.

Rather conservative and old fashioned set up.
I studied a 1 year Foundation Course at The Big Act, and I can honestly say this was the best place for me to have come. I called it my Gap year of Training, it gave me a year to be able to grow independent and allow me to further my skills in both singing and dance preparing me for my year of auditions for Drama school. They provide a hard full day of training, similar what you will receive in the industry. They are welcoming, professional and I have them to thank for helping me get into training at a three year course in GSA.

My daughter has been involved with The Big Act through various summer schools and weekend performance groups for many years. When we learnt that they were starting 16+ and 18+ vocational courses in Musical Theatre there was nowhere else she would have chosen to go. Martin, Holly and the rest of the teaching staff really are the best and so incredibly supportive of every one of the students. It has been a delight to watch my daughter thrive since starting full time with them last September and thanks the hard work and dedication of both herself and the Big Act team she is one step closer to realising her dream of a degree in Musical Theatre at a top London university. Can't thank them enough.x
My mum trained at the old vic bristol perhaps before the school was opened as she was performed in the north of england touring out of burnley during the 2nd world war, her working name kathleen hilditch. I googled maps from norwood in adelaide south Australia out of interest in my birthplace bristol.

BSPA is absolutely fantastic. They have given my daughter enormous confidence over the last few years, and are FAR better than Stagecoach in my opinion. My daughter is now involved with Choir, as well as performances, and will be appearing in a well known production in a Weston Theatre soon. I am grateful to all those that have supported and encouraged my daughter, and the support she gets from other children is superb.
