I did standup with them at an open mic under a different name a few years back. It seemed like a decent group, but I think somebody whom works with them just didn't like me for some reason. They recorded my set, I paid them $35 for the recording, and they never sent the recording to me, even after I emailed them a week later asking for an estimated receipt date on a project that should have taken five minutes to upload and email me. I no longer play games like that (like I have with other comedy clubs), because it's very unprofessional and stupid. Treat the talent right!

Rebecca at creative veins is awesome! She has a Genuine love for the art of acting and I’d say does a phenomenal job at explaining and teaching acting and all that goes into it. I recommend creative veins “intro to acting” class to literally anyone- never done any acting before or seasoned pro! She’s just fantastic.

I attended the Intro to Acting class with Rebecca, and I will admit that I had no idea what to expect. This was my first time taking a class like this, but I am so glad I did. My classmates ranged from people who wanted to pursue acting to those who just wanted to try something new, which made for a really great atmosphere for the class. Also Rebecca made herself incredibly available to us as a resource which I am so thankful for. I absolutely recommend the class no matter what your goals may be!

I absolutely love this class! Rebecca has allowed me to find my inner child again; an extension of me that I didn't even know I had anymore. She handled the class with so much ease. Definitely a class worth taking. Fun, laughter, informative, directional.

I recently completed the intro to acting 4-week class and it was a blast! I’ve always had an interest in the film industry and acting and Rebecca was extremely informative and always quick to answer questions in a constructive and honest way. Jax may not be a hub for the film industry but she definitely gives you direction if you want to pursue it. At the very least if you appreciate the art of acting this will give you a deeper perspective of any media you see and what goes into it. I’m pursing the intermediate class while I’m still located here and look to further my training in larger cities once I leave. Grateful I got started in a smaller class which allowed more personal attention.

This is now the second time I've used actors from Creative Veins and both times the actors were absolutely incredible. They were very knowledgeable, came prepared, and were friendly to everyone on set. The two on my most recent set bordered on being producers with how much they helped during planning and while on set. Every time they went far and above beyond what I could have ever imagined and I'm thankful to them and Rebecca who spread the word of my projects.

Improv is fun! The exercises helped me get out of myself, and also taught me and others how to read and respond to one another and to produce better scenes. That was a delightful to me - players can't be only about themselves, they have to be about the troupe. I also came to understand how every actor must take a global view as they are at once writer, director and player - which is super stimulating intellectually. In the end, I see broad application to life - I'll apply it as a teammate, speaker, and writer, too. One last note ... I appreciated the class was for adults and ages were diverse with a quarter being 40-60ish. If you are a little older, you'll be in good company. I will definitely take more classes at Creative Veins!

Saw Just Desserts last night, opening weekend, and it was fantastic! Fun story line, beautiful set and exquisite voices! Having been part of a community theater myself, the quality and blending of voices was perfection! The venue is lovely, acting was genuine and tech was spot on. Highly recommend!

Jill is absolutely the BEST acting coach in town! She is extremely knowledgeable about the film and television industry having actually worked in the industry for many years. She gives honest and constructive feedback. My skills and confidence have only grown since attending her workshops. Hollywood Acting Studio Jax deserves 5 stars and more!!!

Jill is phenomenal!! She loves what she does and brings out the best in everyone! Ever since I started going to her; I’ve gotten better & better thanks to her my confidence has increased jumping into another character! If anyone has something negative to say about her class…it’s all lies! She is the best acting coach in Florida and will not disappoint you! I Absolutely love Hollywood Studios!!!

If you like live theater, Theatre Jacksonville is the perfect place. The entire production is volunteers and they do a wonderful job. You get to see a great performance and support a Jacksonville historic site.

My wife and I had a nice time, we saw The Sweet Delilah Swim Club. The theatre is clean and staff is friendly. Not the most comfortable seating but it is fine. The show itself was nice, we had a few good laughs.

I've been training with Jill for the past few years and she has not only got me back on my acting game but also gives valuable insight into the industry. Jill is one of the best, if not THE best, acting coach I have come across. She covers film/TV acting as well as audition and cold read techniques while also giving every student individual attention. She has years of industry experience and is up to date on the current film/TV trends. If you want to take your acting career seriously, go see her!!!

Current rules: masks at all times, no loitering in lobby. But the performance was great, volunteers were great. I highly recommend supporting this theater.

Really sucks they had me separated from my family . Their sitting at one end and then me by myself. U should be able to sit with family u know them and if they got Corvid pretty much.Sad Day

As a student under Jill Donnellan, I have grown tremendously and hands down more than any coach I’ve studied under. Jill has helped me launch my career as an actor even beyond my expectations and has brought me to a place of awareness and etiquette that is necessary for a successful career in the acting industry. I far surpassed the basic fundamentals of acting within weeks of public and private study with Jill. She not only pours her heart into every class and student, but she has a vested interest in every students success and well being within the industry.

In sum, Jill has the most experience in the industry I could find anywhere remotely close to the area and after much research I found her to not only be the most qualified, but the one I would be thrilled to say I studied under, based on some of her previous successes with now and current Hollywood Actor’s/Actresses.

Taking Jill’s class was the first acting class I’d ever taken. It was my first experience being on camera; my first initial step into the acting world and it changed my perspective forever, made me realize that this is what I really want to do. That first class changed a lot for me and Jill had a lot to do with that along with the people I’ve met through the class. What I like about Jill is her honesty, if she doesn’t like a performance in class or knows that you have more in you she will make you do it again, and she will break you down but in only a good way. She is good at reading people. She is very real with you and she can offer so much advice based on her own experience in the industry. I think Jacksonville is blessed as a city and a community to have Jill’s presence among us. She has a lot of experience with screenwriting, acting, and modeling ~ really just the ultimate triple threat teacher with so much knowledge of and about the industry, especially since she was LA based for years! Not to mention she is actually a down to earth sweetheart of a human being! :)

I have been training for almost 2 years with Jill I can’t say enough about how grateful and happy I am with her training classes, I have learned so much.

From the technical point of view Jill breaks down every step needed to take to be a talented actor. Her methods and techniques are very on point and she takes them very seriously.

I have trained with Jill several years and I have made great progress toward becoming the actor I want to be. If you are serious about becoming an actor or actress, I can unequivocally say that you will find in Jill’s classes the tools and encouragement you need to travel that difficult road. Like any career choice, there is no guarantee of success, but taking classes at Hollywood Acting Studio Jax certainly got me off the ground armed with necessary skills and a deep understanding of just how challenging acting is.

The summer shows tend to be the best. Music direction always good and they tend to do really popular shows to ensure high turnout, which is great.

Never had a bad theatre experience at Theatre Jacksonville. The choice of productions has been truly great. The actors have been equally wonderful. It is a small theatre and of the three subscriptions we have for theatre in JAX, we feel Theatre Jacksonville is by far the best. Actors who perform are able to project, which is necessary in a small theatre, along with demonstrating great acting skills. If you want to experience great theatre, go to Theatre Jacksonville in San Marco.

Seen many plays here. The perfect small local theater. All volunteers and kind and helpful as well as the acting talent being outstanding. A must do if their is a show going on.
