Verdict: Highly Recommended

Been here twice now with the new refreshed Japanese menu. Food is excellent with the new menu. Have been able to try the sukiyaki, karaage, ebi tempura and the seven fishes sushi which were all exceptional.

Service is prompt and attentive. It’s always a pleasant time here.

Ambiance is great, although wish they refreshed the interiors a bit but still nice nonetheless.

I went there with my family and it was the best dinner experience I've ever had! I got the 7 fishes, The hot stone wagyu, Hokkaido Scallop, Miso Foie Gras, Crispy Pork Gyoza, The mochi potato’s and last but definitely not least we had the Cedar-Smoked Shima Aji. I could not recommend everything we got more everything melted in my Mouth had amazing flavor. The deserts were amazing! The shaved ice was so refreshing and delicious. The strawberries were so creamy and rich and were my personal favorite, The Whoopi’s pie was so delicious and flavorful. The waiters and staff were the nicest staff I’ve ever experienced at a restaurant. they gave recommendations and helped us order. I could not recommend this place more!!!!!

Pod is back! If you enjoyed Pod in the past then you’ll love this updated version in the same place in University City. The decor is updated but the service is as great as you may recall in the past. The menu is diverse although of course on a Japanese-fusion theme ranging from sushi/sashimi to noodles and rice to fuller entrees. Do try the desserts too! Definitely recommended for a visit into the city or if you live nearby - a classic place returns and even better!

We came for happy hour on a Wednesday and loved the experience. The restaurant is spacious and street parking was easy to find. Their happy hour menu included food and drinks and we ordered the hot Wagyu as well. A little pricey but overall delicious and we would come back!

Every bite was a perfect combination of flavors. The butter crab roll and tuna nachos were especially life changing. I'll be back as many times as possible

GET THE SPAGHETTI!! It’s so good. Shrimp & tuna roll was the runner up followed by the butter krab roll. All good just liked the spaghetti the best. Had the cucumber sake mojito and a glass of orange wine both bangin’!!

Love the vibe here. It gives me the feeling like I'm in a Squish Game theme Kshow. Definitely a great place to hangout with a girl group and Instagram checkin. The price is pricey that worths the vibe but not the food. The staff are very diverse and friendly. Highly recommend being here for the vibe!

A roller coaster experience. Definitely not a true, authentic Korean dinner, it has a funky twist with its atmosphere, decor and menu. The menu seems to be a fusion of multiple cuisines. The fried chicken, was terrible, it was bland and tasted like the old cooking oil it was fried in, no seasoning. The banchan dishes are not free and are charged per plate, which were mediocre at best. The Ssam platter was delicious and wonderful, worth coming back for. The fries were some of the best I’ve had. The hand rolls were hand rolls. Next time, only order the fries and Ssam platter. Maybe a handrollnif you’re still hungry.
