I had Regard Jewelry fix my mother’s antique ring after the stone fell out. They did a beautiful job. A year or so later the stone fell out again. They repaired it with a stronger holding for free except for the stone replacement. I was very grateful to be able to restore such a sentimental item.

Came to Abercrombie with a handful of sentimental stones and gold, wanting a custom piece created with very little ideas of what I wanted it to look like. Stephanie helped me identify the overall look I was going for and then sketched the rest. It took two sessions to come to a design and a quick turnaround time to receive the results.

I am so happy with the end product! The Florentine finish is the perfect touch for an elegant style that will be timeless, and the stones are positioned in a way that makes them shine.

We needed to have a small turquoise stone replaced in my husband's silver Navajo wedding ring. Krueger's recommended Abercrombie. We were given a very reasonable estimate and the turnaround time was less than a couple of weeks. We are very pleased with the replacement stone, the work and the service.

Ok.. where to start?! These guys have been amazing! I have a wrist watch that is 25yrs old. It has been repaired by Aaron at least a dozen times! These guys are the real deal! Kind, knowledgable, and honest! If you need your goods repaired this is the place to go!!! They are simply the best!

Excellent service! No one, except Abercrombie Jewelry, would even take the time to look at my jewelry because it was natural diamonds. Apparently everyone wants lab grown now. Diminished the value of real diamonds. Crazy!

I had such a delightful experience here. My dad recently gifted me his moms antique watch. I was unsure if I could find a place that would clean, repair, and resize it all in one go at a fair price. I walked in and was referred over to Aaron, within a few minutes of speaking with him, I was confident and comfortable that he would be able to help me out. He was very knowledgable and clearly passionate about antique pieces. The pricing and turnaround time were more than reasonable, and at pickup, Aaron patiently taught me how to properly wind the watch. It was a truly wonderful experience.

Family owned and every person there is phenomenal. Owner went out of his way to make custom adjustments on the white gold on a pair of Diamonds. The family is very helpful and they have a great selection. Will be shopping here again for gifts when I’m back in Austin 10/10 would recommend

EDIT - Owner texted me, and asked me to bring the ring back in. I did so, and he said he would have it done and I could pick it up in two days. Left the rings with them for two more days, and they were able to fix them and make exactly what I wanted.

Original - shoddy workmanship, poor customer communication, timelines much longer than quoted, and they lost a stone from my antique engagement ring

I chose Regard because a friend said that three generations of her family had used them and they had good reviews on Google.

I went in for an initial consult, explained that I needed some repairs on my engagement ring and, due to its unusual shape, I needed a gold band made to fit it. They said they understood what I was looking for and it would take two weeks.

After two weeks, I hadn't heard anything from them, so I called them. I was told it was taking longer than expected and to give them another week.

Two more weeks go by, I still haven't heard anything, so I call again, they say they've had people out sick, they need another week.

After another week I call them, they say it's ready. I go in, and the wedding band fits worse than a 5$ dress from Shein. They say to give them another week and they will fix it. Again, I call them after a week, they said they had a machine break, they just fixed the machine, they will have the ring done by the end of the day and they will call me. They call me 30 minutes before they close.

I go in the next day to pick up the rings. The wedding band like 80% fits the engagement ring, I just want my rings back, so I take them, and I go home. On my drive home, I realize my engagement band is missing a stone. So I call them, they say to bring it back in and they will fix it while I wait. I also inspect the wedding band more and notice some deep scratches and unevenness in the band.

All in all, it took a month and a half, four trips to their store, and I still don't have exactly what I want.

I first came to Avant Garde Jewelers to have a diamond set in an engagement ring, and then later to buy a wedding band. Drew was knowledgable, friendly, and didn't try to give us a hard sell. He worked with us to find the perfect ring for my fiancee and she couldn't be happier. It's a comfort to have a great family run business that we can trust to do any modifications or repairs in house.

My experience with Avante Garde Jewelers was extraordinary. I had a stone custom set and they treated me as if I had brought in the Hope diamond! Brian & Matt were wonderful to work with, always promptly returning my calls & emails. The desired setting was a bit technologically challenging, so we had to tweak one thing or another a number of times, until we got it just right. They were patient and meticulous with each change and still finished in time for a special occasion. I would gladly use them again & just love my necklace.

Dan and his team have now custom made 3 rings for me from large amethyst stones gifted to me. I am impressed with the craftsmanship and overall designs! Dan knows his designs. Special shout out to John who put the rings together.

Brian is the best of the best! He helped us custom make my engagement ring in 2019 and he worked extremely hard on getting us the exact ring we wanted with my daughter’s birth stone on it over the past few months. Never have I ever seen such a beautifully curated collection of vintage jewelry and estate pieces. I’ve worked with both Steph and Katy, and they seem to deeply care about the history of the pieces, the era they were produced, and have significant knowledge regarding the quality of the stones, etc. You can even see the jewelers working on-site! A trip to Abercrombie Jewelry is a bit of a experiential journey through time, not to be missed if you’re in the Austin area.

Excellent jeweler! I purchased a Victorian Pearl ring in England and needed to get it resized. After making a few phone calls I choose Abercrombie to resize my ring. They did a perfect job! I also ended up purchasing a beautiful vintage Diamond ring while I was in their store. So, I ended up with 2 lovely vintage rings! Such a unique collection, great staff and excellent service!
