So I was walking down the avenue and I saw a gorgeous diamond bracelet in the window, when I pressed the door bell to enter I waited in the heat for 3 minutes give or take waiting for the door to be unlocked so I could enter the store. Someone then asked through the intercom “how may I help you” I told the lady I was wanting to look at the bracelet in the window, she then said “well what are you looking for something particular or just looking? “ I said to myself I could of sworn I said I was wanting to look at the bracelet in the window, she then told me “oh we are appointment based only” I felt like she had dismissed me so rudely might I add. She didn’t even try to tell me how to make an appointment she just said what she said and left it at that. I was not only puzzled because she could have just told me that from the beginning but I thought to myself I feel like I’m being racially profiled and sure enough I was right…. KEEP IN MIND THERE IS NO SIGN ON OR NEAR THE DOOR THAT SAYS APPOINTMENT ENETRY ONLY!
As I walked away a little upset and still puzzled by the woman’s snappy remark I looked back and saw 3 white women looking at the jewelry cases just pointing and looking away and one of the women buzzed the doorbell and the same woman came on the intercom again and told them to just “come right on in the door is open” and they all just walked right in….. I now knew this was not a misunderstanding this was out right racism at its finest. I don’t know if it was because of my appearance in a regular t-shirt and basketball shorts but I do know it was because my skin tone… I was and still am appalled this store is a disgrace and needs better employees it’s 2023 and this is what’s still going on???!!!
It’s not only distasteful but it’s honestly disgusting. I shop at a lot of places never have I ever had this happen to me before, at the age of 22 I can honestly say I’m not only appalled but I’m beyond disappointed.

Elana was absolutely fantastic in our experience with finding a ring for my future fiancé/wife. We visited Bay Hill Jewelers looking for a groom’s wedding band without a clue as to what color, shape, cut, etc. he wanted. Olivia made sure he tried on the right size and showed us several different options. We eventually found one that we loved and she helped us order it. I would recommend this jeweler to anybody.

Bayhill Jewelers is amazing! I went in with my friend and little sister to try on engagement rings for the first time. I was super nervous after having not so great experiences at other jewelry stores, but Gaby welcomed us and made my day 1000x better! She explained absolutely everything to me, let me try on so many rings so we could narrow down my style and was beyond patient. I really appreciate how thorough and kind Gaby was and I can’t wait to go back! I’ll add some Pictures of some of the most beautiful rings I got to try on!

Bay Hill has a world-class team at all their locations. Stacey and the team treated me with utmost care and made me feel super comfortable during the nerve-racking process of ring shopping. I gave Stacey some inspiration images and she showed me 3 specially selected diamonds/bands. The result was absolutely stunning! We will no doubt be going back here for anniversaries, etc.

Stacey is amazing. She took very good care of us and helped me get my fiancé’s ring of her dreams. I told her exactly what I wanted, and she gave it to me - bigger and cheaper than I expected. Stacey an absolutely amazing jeweler and I will be using her for every special occasion from here on out.
