Excellent facility. Easy to access. Professional, Informative and friendly staff. Highly recommended.

I went and definitely got the "whites only" treatment. They would not rent us (minorities) guns after taking the class cause it "rained that day". Even though we just did they exact samething with the rental guns in the training class outside. No worries, I'm not in the habit of supporting racist anyway.

I recently visited for the clay pigeon shooting and had a fantastic experience. The staff was knowledgeable and ensured a safe environment. The variety of shooting stations and challenging targets kept the activity engaging. Overall, it's a great place for both beginners and experienced shooters to enjoy a thrilling day outdoors. There is also a wide variety of stations to choose from.

Pretty unhappy with bull run shooting center right now. Called ahead and the phone message said they were open until 7:00 p.m. Drove there purchased tickets at 4:40 p.m., got our guns and walked down to the range where we were told they are closed. Why the eff did they sell us tickets then? Called the message again to be sure that it did indeed say they were open till 7:00 in the winter, on Friday. Aholes.

Great place for wobble, trap, and skeet. Reasonably priced. Great price for gun rentals, and you can purchase ammo.

Really fun shooting range with great service and friendly staff. Mike walked us through the basics in a patient and entertaining manner during the learn to shoot class. We also got some coupons for next time, including a free shotgun rental each which we used immediately after the lesson (but bought ammo). Our group of 5 was perfect to play one game of wobble after our lesson. Overall a fun time to spend an afternoon.

ARCHERY REVIEW - great indoor facility with 20 yrd range. Safe and cool environment at a reasonable price, BUT!!! They open at noon, so if you get there in mornings and go down see it’s empty as typically is…you cannot use it until noon. I get sometimes they have a guy getting paid to teach people, but even that takes place later days. It’s a shame because lots of people don’t use it because they’d rather profit off some guy teaching than let the citizens of the county use the range in mornings. The worst part is that it’s open and empty on some of those days. I’m close by, but not considered Fairfax county resident so my complaints go unheard. What a waste to further the sport of archery for everyone. Beware of a guy that calls himself “Al” that works there (pictured), steer clear. Probably not his real name, guys like him typically lie about everything. In his mind he owns the place and isn’t very friendly. Good luck archers, I’ll not be going there again.

My Friend and I were going skeet shooting but first I had to learn how to shoot a shotgun. I wanted to go skeet shooting for years. I've been to the gun range but never handled or shot a shotgun.
Mr. Ken Schafer was my Instructor and he was a delight. He had me laughing and put me at ease. The lesson lasted about 30/45 minutes. I thought we were going to do some skeet shooting but we left. I can't wait to go back and do some skeet shooting. I will definitely come back again soon!!
I called about a dress code I was told there wasn't one but once I got there I realized I wasn't dressed appropriately.
ALL
1. Make sure to wear close toed shoes so when you shoot the clay discs they don't hit your toes.
2. Bring a basecall cap or some other rimmed hat so when you shoot the discs won't hit your face.
3. Bring sunglasses or some other type of glasses. This will ensure nothing gets in your eyes.
4. You can bring drinks - obviously no alcohol. I would check if you can bring a cooler or not.
5. Bring sunscreen as there isn't much shade, except up by the deck near the building.
WOMEN
1. I made the mistake of wearing a tank top - DO NOT!! Wear a t-shirt with with sleeves. You want to ensure the gun doesn't slide off to your skin. It will also ensure the shotgun isn't resting on your skin.
2. Consider renting or bringing a shoulder pad. Mr. Ken Schafer allowed me to use one of his shoulder pads. I didn't have any bruising but I didn't expect my should to be a little sore the next day.
