My DC neighbors were right; Anchor is not a construction company, they’re a destruction company. Every day I come home from work, I have to go outside and clean up the mess this company leaves. They have no respect for the neighborhood. They leave their trash thrown about the neighborhood. As other review said, they will indeed destroy the trees that line your street as well. Looks like Pepco contracted the lowest bidder to do their “work”.

They’ve been working in DC for months. They do not follow DC guidelines…they destroy the aesthetics of tree-lined streets with their equipment and trash. Once neighbors complained, they finally brought out smaller equipment and continued their work. They could have easily avoided smashing into and breaking large limbs/branches before the complaints, by using the proper equipment from the beginning. They leave blocks and blocks of DC residential neighborhoods looking like trash. Expired parking permits, excavated dirt and debris, old caution tape, and their personal trash, cigarette butts, and tree limbs now line many DC streets they’ve been working on.

I am very impressed with Townhome Landscapes thoroughness, attention to detail and all-around high quality work. I've tried other companies in DC in the past and found that they rushed through projects, did sloppy work and/or cut corners. Not Townhome Landscapes. I wish I had discovered them sooner! Ben put in the time, the work and the care and left my property looking immaculate. I cannot recommend highly enough.

We recently worked with Monumental Contractors on a restoration project after our neighbor’s tree fell on our roof. From day one of our first meeting to the last day of the project we had an absolutely great experience. Gilbert carefully listened to our needs, was transparent on what to expect and made us feel confident throughout the journey with his timely responses and follow ups.

The project team led by Edwin came every day, on time (including weekends) and with smiles on their faces. Flawless project management and attention was given to how best to restore our home.

If you need any type of lawn or landscaping done I HIGHLY recommend! Ben and his team were amazing. I had a huge bush that I needed cut down tremendously because it was growing up the side of my house & had gotten out of control. They took care of it and it turned out even better than I could have imagined. I will definitely be using this company again for any lawn or landscaping needs I have in the future.

I was blown away by my experience working with Monumental. I have high expectations, and they exceeded them, which is hard to do. From the very first meeting, I was impressed -- Gilbert set a specific time to come by (not a window), sent a meeting invitation, confirmed, and then came at exactly that time!! It was a level of professionalism and respectfulness that I have not typically encountered when dealing with any contractors or home repairs. The communication was excellent throughout the process, including specifics of budget, any changes to the project, timelines, and what to expect during construction. It gave me such peace of mind, especially since I have small kids and we were staying in the home during the work.

For communication and responsiveness alone, I would highly highly recommend, but amazingly Monumental also does extremely high quality work at a competitive price. We had two major phases of work with them. For each, we had multiple bids, and their pricing was competitive. We are very happy with the finished product. Monumental took extra care with the details, making sure everything was perfect and we were absolutely satisfied. Monumental has a skilled team, and they were knowledgeable about a wide range of things (handling water damage including some structural damage, ensuring appropriate window and door sealing, ordering custom doors, cabinetry work, etc.)

Honestly, still not sure these guys are real! They are definitely going to be my go-to contractors for as long as I live in the area. Book them if you can get them!!!

Monumental was a great group to work with! We were half way through a project that included an addition and kitchen renovation with another contractor that had serious quality and timeline issues. Monumental was extremely accommodating to step in and put in the extra effort to take on a project half way through from another contractor, which is not something you will likely find most contractors willing to do. It spoke to the kind of group this was. They assessed the current situation, laid out an action plan for repairs required to previous work completed, and delivered a great finished product. Any large project will have its road bumps, but Monumental really showed as a customer first group that was proactive in their approach and had a broad range of experience to handle any unforeseen issue quickly.

We are so happy with our new space and the fact we switched to Monumental! Much appreciate the efforts of everyone on the team.

Monumental was a dream team for our family to work with during the pandemic. We remodeled our row home with them including the back addition, kitchen, bathrooms and main systems throughout the home. We loved partnering with Gilbert, Marlon, Alex and the team to complete our project. We highly recommend their team for the partnership, communication, and end result of the work.

ALL construction projects will have difficult moments. I've learned to judge a contractor by how they behave when these sticky situations arise. In this regard, my experience with Monumental was very positive. I worked with them on a project that had both a tight deadline, and also, a very demanding client. Monumental handled themselves professionally throughout the process staying solution focused, organized, and communicative every step of the way. I look forward to working with them again.

Had a Patio Installed and my driveway refinished and Both turned out great! Ben was extremely professional and detail oriented. Communication was great throughout the project. Would definitely recommend for any home improvement projects.

Our HOA has used Townhome Landscapes to care for the lawn and garden at our rowhouse in downtown DC the past several years. During that time, Ben and his team have done exceptional work mowing the grass and tending to weeds in our urban yard on a regular basis. They are detailed, reliable, and responsive, and a pleasure to do business with.

Ready Remodeling was very helpful and knowledgeable in a wide range of remodeling and repair issues. They have a high sense of integrity about their work. They also located and fixed a mold issue in my basement that I was unaware of.

Ready Remodelling replaced a kitchen appliance requiring electrical work and some cabinetry work. Prompt response, friendly, professional and good value.

BEWARE: I applied for a position listed on Fort Myer Indeed page and was reached out to by a person who is apparently a scammer. This person has now gained access to all of my personal information. According to the director of Human Resources Linda Page they are aware of this due to other people calling however, they have failed to immediately remove this posting. They claim to be working through the issue but the post remains on indeed representing the corporation.

I highly recommend Ready Remodeling. Kathleen, Giancarlo, Armando and team were incredibly skilled, efficient and affordable. For me, this was the first time I hired a contractor and I was so excited for the work to be done. I really appreciated how this team were partners with me, helping me understand the process, make decisions, and I recognized I could trust the quality of their work.

Monumental renovated my basement and added a full bathroom in the fall/winter of 2020. They were incredibly easy to work with and very responsive to all of my questions, comments, and concerns. The space they renovated looks amazing and I've received compliments from everyone that has seen it or viewed pictures of it.

I highly recommend Ready Remodeling for home improvement projects in the DMV area. Giancarlo, Kathleen and crew from Ready Remodeling were a pleasure to work with on my home improvement project. Considering some of the limitations we have during COVID, Ready Remodeling always made me feel safe during our meetings.

My master bathroom was not move-in ready. I was in need of a complete master bathroom remodel, new flooring throughout, and drywall repairs.

Ready Remodeling likes to utilize local vendors where possible, which is very important to me supporting the local businesses.

A custom glass shower was constructed with a ceiling mounted rain shower head and a custom bench built into the shower wall by Giancarlo. Ready Remodeling also installed beautiful new eucalyptus flooring, soundproofed a common wall, replace damaged drywall, and installed LED recessed lighting throughout my home.

They showed great patience and flexibility in working with my condo association. Ready Remodeling will definitely be considered for any of my future home improvement projects.

Monumental did a high quality job on a wood siding, window, and porch roof repair project for us. Victor and Gilbert were excellent throughout the process- always very responsive, transparent, and open to specific material/finish requests. All the guys on the crew were clearly experienced and performed top notch work. Everything was completed in a timely manner and on budget. I'd highly recommend them.

A little over a month ago, we moved into our new home and wanted to convert two back bedrooms and an odd hallway into a master suite with his and hers walk-in closets. We turned to Monumental Contractors for the project and not only did they make my vision come to life, they were so easy to work with and so professional that it was a joy having them in the house everyday! We're already thinking of other projects we'll need them for so they can come back :)

Fort Meyer construction was doing a job on Benning and Minnesota ave. They had raised manholes and did not put cones around them. I suffered 451 dollars of damage to my vehicle and they are denying my claim. What else did i hit besides the manhole? Fort meyer you are the worst!!

Parked their own cars and their construction vehicles in our private parking lot without permission. Left an arrow board in our parking lot for two weeks. Called them 3 times to come pick it up. Still waiting for them to come.

You would think the human resources department would enforce the child support order from the district court of Maryland for master electrician Damien Leon Smith case number Number:CASR17-26076 instead of letting him collect his full check while me and my son receive nothing each week SMH

If I could give it zero stars I would, my mother works at this company and the way they treat her and the department she works for is ridiculous, they not only treat her with a lack of respect but they are inconsiderate and disrespectful. If you are currently looking for employment I would not recommend this place for you.

after working more than 6 years, I can tell you how each department work..Administration it's terrible, they use seniority, no matter how much you know, or experience,they will put their favorite guy...( uncle, cousin, friend)these company make money because they have the contracts with DC government but use capitalism on their people... they don't support the needed or to benefit the lowest people, the ones who work hard, they don't provide no even the right tools to work with. They are not willing to help, THEY JUST HIRE PEOPLE, AND THROW IT ON THE WORK FEll. even if you don't have the right orientation... and I lot accidents happen..they treat very bad their employees.. (verbal)..if a good employee it's star shining or making positive changes it quickly get fired... If you start working with them you will fell like you are moving in a big dinosaur on the citi. I don't recommend these company. if you are trying success, unless you're strong in who you are, ...I know a lot but stuff about these company don't recommend you work here unless you have get out of jail.. It's a good place, because their are obligated to provide job to any dc residents in order to keep getting jobs from dc... Pray to God for directions, if you want to work here...( I'm serious)

Ben and Sam have been cutting my lawn for more than 7 years. They are professional and the price is right. They do an excellent job and are responsive to any requests. I highly recommend them.

It would be 5 stars , but unfortunately they seem to let their subcontractors work for them when the don't pay their hourly employees
