1,000 alpacas! A chicken farm. Some teepees, friendly dogs, baby alpacas, old alpacas, young alpacas, mommy alpacas, brown white black yellow and every mixture of those four colors. If you have never seen an alpaca or want to see one then visit this place. The owner is a fine lady, one of the caretakers is a very fine young lady, and it's just a really neat place if you like animals. First time I have ever seen an alpaca in real life, they look like a combination of a camel and a donkey with the hair of a woolly sheep. Just really super neat, calm and friendly, well cared for South American animals. If you like seeing animals then this is worth your time.
Love this place! If you live near Redmond or just traveling past on highway 97 with little ones. This is a must for stop to get their wiggles out and you can take in fresh air! Debbie in the store is amazing and friendly! It is only $5 to feed the animals, no admission fee. Highly recommend going into the store and getting the feed though! Soooo cute and fun!
Definitely get more than one bag of grain for the alpacas! You won't regret it! This was a wonderful experience, it'd be great for families, couples, and even just for a boost to your mood by yourself! They've got magnificent alpaca clothing and souvenirs, it's the softest material I've ever felt in my life! I'll definitely be getting some Christmas gifts for family here! Ask them all your questions about alpacas and how they care for them in the boutique!
We love this place! It’s pure joy to feed & pet the alpacas. The gift shop has unique gifts and friendly owners. I highly recommend visiting during your next trip to Bend or Redmond!

We had SO much fun! We took our almost 2 year old and I think she could have stayed ALL DAY LONG! For $5 a feed bag was such inexpensive entertainment! We ran out of food by the 2nd pen because we were having so much fun. We went to get more feed and even came back the next day! The boutique store is SUPER cute too!
What a great experience! Especially fun for families with children, but we adults really enjoyed it too! You can purchase food to feed the alpaca and the kids loved the experience. The gift shop is chock full of delightful alpaca clothing, accessories and gifts. The owner was very involved, informative and welcoming. The grounds were lovely and well manicured.
Such a fun and affordable little outing! Make sure to stop in the store to purchase a bag of feed and check out all the other fun things they offer. They had sooo many cute and friendly alpacas and some absolutely adorable babies too.

It's a great place to learn about alpacas! Beautiful views all around you. Also sports an awesome boutique with things made from alpacas! Don't forget to stop into the shop to get some feed to feed the alpacas. It is a couple of dollars, so this is a cost-effective way to have a fun day at a minimal cost! Plus, the kids love them and they follow you around if you have feed. They have babies, so they are really cute!
Nancy gave us a tour today and we even got an alpaca "kiss" from Clancy. What a fabulous experience. Totally recommend a visit. Call ahead though and schedule a tour. You will not be disappointed
Me and my fiance went to the car show today decided to go to the alpaca farm it was a nice day anyway here are a few photos 2 babies were born I guess but just took 1 of them.
If you are heading to Central Oregon, stay a night - or more - at Alpaca Country Estates! Nancy and Art are the most amazing hosts. She has a private room and bath in her home, a HUGE guest house across from the alpaca nursery, Teepees and a Yurt!
The views are SPECTACULAR! Play with the baby alpacas, watch the herd move from pasture to pasture and shop at the farm stores. Everyone NEEDS a pair of alpaca socks!

We had a wonderful time at Alpaca Country Estates. Nancy was a great guide and showed us all around the farm. We spent 2 hrs walking 2 alpacas, seeing all the babies up close, and learning all about alpacas and what it takes to raise them. I would definitely recommend the experience. It was well worth the money.

Driving the backroads after a hike this morning and discovered over 1000 alpacas at the Alpaca Ranch! OMG, we spent almost 2 hours walking with Farmer John and Nancy, meeting babies born yesterday and just being overly happy with these joyful whimsical animals. So much fun! Definitely the hidden highlight of our trip to Oregon! The gift shop was very nice with beautiful things made from alpaca fur.
Nancy, the elderly lady in the store, is one of the tour guides here. She was very sweet and informational on our tour! The Alpacas are very calm, have soft fur, and many will come up to you! The Bed & Breakfast is new to the property, and one part sleeps 4 people, while the other sleeps 5 people. The property itself is very quiet and peaceful, a good place to get away from noise.
