My youngest is currently at BWNS and I can't say enough good things about our experience. The teachers are incredible and he loves going to school each morning. I feel they have prepared him really well for JK in the fall but we will truly miss BWNS!

My son is attending BWNS and he absolutely loves it. He is eager to go everyday and loves to share all of his daily experiences with us. BWNS staff is excellent: caring, attentive, good communication with parents, lots of fun activities and responsive management. My little one is ready for JK because of the great care and guidance and learning tools BWNS has provided.

This place is amazing. I can’t say enough good things about the teachers here. The program will have kids ready for Kindergarten both through socialization and academics. Mornings only and inexpensive - it also gave me FREEDOM while she has fun.

My kids attended BWNS and we’ve had a super positive experience. They have amazing, kind, caring and experienced educators that get your little ones ready for kindergarten. They have a great preschool program. Two thumbs up and highly recommended!

I have nothing but only good things to say about BWNS. It's a small nursery school with nurturing teachers who truly care about each family. We had almost 3 years of experiences with the school and I'm glad we made the decision to send both of my kids there. I'd definitely recommend BWNS to anyone who is looking for the best learning/caring environment for their kids.

As a mother and Early Childhood Educator, I knew I wanted to find a special place for my daughters’ first preschool experience. HCNS offers children an extremely warm, nurturing and creative learning environment. The educators foster loving and encouraging relationships with each and every child that prioritizes their social and emotional well-being. HCNS promotes a play-based and child-centered approach, with varied stimulating materials, including a unique library of children’s folk stories and a specialized music and art program. It is a small and organized learning environment that includes access to the beautiful Whychwood Barns facility. I always felt at ease knowing that my kids were in the hands of people I could trust. If you’re looking for a place that will really care for and nurture your child, then HCNS is the place for you!

Separating from parents didn’t come easily to my kids. The staff at Helene Comay nursery school were so patient and nurturing; they ensured that my children had a positive introduction to school. My children's confidence and cooperative play skills developed tremendously during their time at nursery school, and I believe this led to a successful transition to kindergarten. I am so grateful to HCNS- our experience there was a gift to my kids and our whole family!

Helene Comay nursery will always hold a special place in my heart - my daughter attended the nursery for 2 years, ages 3 and 4(we decided to keep her there for her JK year) and my son unfortunately only had part of a year there due to the pandemic- a real loss for our family.

In a world that seems determined to continue to download the curriculum and expose pre-school aged children to academics earlier and earlier, HCN has remained firmly grounded in how children truly learn - play.

Helene Comay is Humewood / Wychwood's best kept secret! My twins had the most amazing experience at the nursery school. It was a perfect combination of love and care mixed with independence and self discovery. They learned so much through the play based curriculum and were prepared for JK both socially and academically. Their experience at HCNS allowed them thrive in the transition to a larger classroom with less individualized attention. We are so grateful for the positive foundation our children got at Helene Comay and recommend the program to all of our family and friends.

Both of my boys went to Helen Comay. It was an amazing experience for both -- incredibly nurturing while letting them discover and grow on their own. Would strongly recommend to anyone looking for a great place to get their kids of to a great start.

This is a one of kind nursery program for kids. Not only did both of our children attend (& love it), but all of our nieces, nephews, my siblings and I were lucky enough to be part of this school. Soraya and her team are so caring and dedicated to the wellbeing and growth of each child. Each student is supported and loved for exactly who they are.

The teachers are kind, creative, and have developed an exciting and education-focused program that my daughter absolutely loves. She is excited to go to school everyday and has many fun stories to tell me when I pick her up. They learn their letters and number, have an introduction to French, practice their printing, do fun science experiments, and so much more. She will be more then ready for kindergarten in the fall but we will certainly miss our time at BWNS!
