Dr. Gray and Dr. Vaughn plus the staff have been very helpful in the care of my diabetic dog JJ. I also like that they have an after hour emergency clinic for when the unexpected emergency happens.
Dr. Ginex and her staff are helpful, caring, and knowledgeable. They take that extra step to earn an A+ rating for their excellence of care.
Brought my cat in to have his cyst drained and was advised there was also an infection. The vet gave me a topical spray for the wound. About 24 hours later noticed he had some swelling and called the office about an antibiotic. I called several times throughout the day while the clinic was open and never received a call back. I was told the vet would be notified and that if he had further questions they would call me back or a prescription would be sent over to my pharmacy. No prescription was ever sent. No callback was received. I was also told that after 4 when they closed, I could still speak to a technician in reference to the situation, but was advised when I called back again after 4 that the technician worked for an urgent care facility who had no idea about the message I left or why they would tell me, north bay would say I could speak to a technician.
In addition to all this, when my cats cyst was drained, it was done in the patient room and I was asked if I would be ok with holding my cat while he drained the cyst. My cats cyst was previously drained at the cat doctors in Tampa where he was taken by the vet and brought to another room to have his cyst drained. It was a more professional experience with the Cat Doctors than what I have dealt with at this facility. I would not recommend anyone to bring their pet here because clearly they don’t make your pet a priority. They did make sure to collect my office visit payment before I left, but they can’t call me back, and to me that says a lot.
I will not be returning to this location for any reason.

Every doctor is dedicated, enthusiastic, and professional. We have an epileptic frenchie, and the care we always receive is amazing.
We visited back in February for an after-hours visit and last minute tooth abscess. The lovely vet, Ryan the vet tech and Allison at front desk command made sure my boy was seen. This team is flexible and cares about their patients.
My family has been going to VMC on Henderson for over 20 years. I'm so grateful for their after hours care. I've never waited long in the lobby. The vet techs are so kind and patient and, of course, knowledgeable with all of my questions; they even offer great advice! I had Dr McGinnis this particular night, and it was clear my boy was in excellent hands. They took the time to thoroughly answer all of my questions and ensured that I was comfortable administering the prescribed medication. The compassion from everyone at VMC seems to consistently be on display. Their genuine care for all of the pups and cats that come through their doors would put anyone's stressed mind at ease.

I had an emergency this morning with my big man Nimbus and I just want to deeply thank Dr. Mora for the excellent care he provided. He took the time to explain in detail every diagnostic and set realistic expectations for us. He was kind and patient. To the girls in the front I am sorry I did not catch your name but you were all incredible and extremely empathetic. Being in the field myself, just thank you.
After a distressing experience with an overly prescribed medication for my beloved dog, I was referred to this hospital by another clinic. Despite the unfortunate outcome, I can't commend them enough for their professionalism, expertise, and, above all, their compassion.

All of the doctors and staff here are amazing! They take such good care of my high-energy corgi and helped my cat who was having urinary issues and prescribed a diet that has improved his health significantly! I highly recommend them if your pet is having any health concerns :)
The urgent pet care staff are amazing! They are compassionate and thorough throughout the entire visit and into the next visit. They explain what’s happening and what they are going to do from start to finish. I would definitely recommend them to any pet lover who needs help especially during those inconvenient weekend hours when your regular vet is closed. They go above and beyond to help your pet in need. A huge thanks to Sunday’s crew that made my experience as easy as possible!
Everyone was wonderful from the front desk to the technician to the doctor. We were so grateful to be able to go to the vet tonight instead of worrying until tomorrow. Would give them 10 stars if I could! Brought my dog here as he had some seasonal skin allergies that took a turn. The entire staff was amazing, you could really tell they love working with animals. Edward checked me in and was so kind and friendly, check in process was really efficient and quick. My dog was then seen by CJ and Dr. Londono. CJ was so friendly and personable, truly such a sweetheart, you could tell they were meant for this job! Both CJ and the doctor were really thorough, explained everything about my dog’s condition, and took their time answering questions. They gave me an estimate before anything was performed and didn’t try to upsell any unnecessary tests, etc. Also very reasonably priced for an emergency visit! If you want people who truly care about you and your pet, this is the place to go to. I’ll even be switching my dog to be a patient at their regular practice from now on, they were that amazing!
We are so Thankful to the staff of Northbay Animal Hospital. Everyone is so kind and compassionate. Dr. Mora is Amazing and so loving and treated our fur baby so well. I was referred to them because Harmony vet clinic was booked up, they took our Chichi in right away and the price was not bad at all. We are so impressed with their care and compassion we will be taking all of our babies there!! ❤️❤️❤️

I had to bring my baby girl in for a nasty infection on her lip on the day I was heading out of town. I called several vet offices and was told it would be days to get an appointment and emergency was suggested. Tampa Vet was my last call before going to an emergency clinic (which isn’t in my budget, at all). When I called there were not any appointments but we were able to come in to be seen if we were able to wait, and I am so glad we did, because the urgent exam fee was far less than any emergency facility exam prices. The facility was clean, staff was beyond attentive, and my Pretzel is on the mend thanks to Dr Trumble and Nicole. Thank you Tampa Vet!
The team here aims to make every experience as positive as possible. From the staff at the front desk to the doctors themselves they are all friendly, compassionate and helpful. Unfortunately Our 5 year old rescue dog has extreme anxiety and does not do well at his annual exam with vaccine shots and blood draws. In our most recent visit, Dr. Webster went above and beyond setting up a chill protocol to make our dog relaxed and comfortable, adjusting her approach to what worked for him, so that the appointment was as smooth and as stress free as possible for all of us involved.
My first time taking my Sadie girl to this facility, and was an awesome experience! The front desk lady’s were such a delight! Our nurse and doctor were very educated and helped myself and my boyfriend better understand the world of a doggie! Very clean! Everyone who walked passed us was so happy to see our fur baby! Would highly recommend to anyone who needs a great center to trust with their fur babies!

this is actually my second time writing a five star review for this pet hospital, with dogs that have had some health issues, it is extremely comforting, bringing them to Tampa vet Hospital. Dr. Webster, and Dr. Trumble are hands-down, some of the kindness and compassionate vets. Every vet tech in there, and every doctor is amazing, if you’re reading this, just bring your fur babies here.
Best Veterinarian we’ve ever been to. We love this place. The staff is always so kind and welcoming. They take great care of our Cat, Sheba, & they always work with us to make sure we can get what we need done for her within our budget. The place is great, super clean and remodeled. They have beverages in the lobby & lots of extra touches to make you comfortable. I really appreciate how they take time to make Sheba comfortable each visit before they start their exam. They even put out cat nip for her once to help her relax and let her chill a while before the exam so she wasn’t stressed. I literally can’t say enough good things. We’re just very grateful to have found them a few years back.
My cat get very sick, being new to the area I was a little nervous about a new vet. They were able to get her in so quick and were kind and compassionate toward her. She was handled so gently and I couldn't be more relieved that they tried multiple solutions until one worked. Plus they were always communicative about pricing and expectations. Dr. Johnson even checked in the next day seeing how she was and providing further advice. I'm so grateful, thank you so much Dr. Johnson and team for helping and being the reason my cat is still here.
10/10 vet experience. Everyone was so knowledgeable and kind. They took their time with all my questions and gave relevant additional advice on my dogs condition, predisposing factors etc. Very compassionate and refreshing. You can tell they really love animals. Also shockingly fair price for urgent care services which I was apprehensive about. I was helped by Edward, Ryan and Dr. Ukirk (apologize if this is a spelling mishap).

DMAH has been my dog's vet since she was a puppy. The care that she receives is excellent. Beyond that, Dr. Moore and staff are cheerful and concerned pet lovers. I always know up front when the cost for my services is going to be. They keep you aware of preventive measures that can be taken to prolong and improve the health of my dog. The officed is bright and cheerful. They make bringing your pet to the vet a pleasant experience.
In a moment of emergency, I could not have felt more calm and taken care of by the Tampa Veterinary Hospital. I called first thing in the morning, was asked to come in right away, and the moment I stepped in the front door, my puppy was immediately attended to. She got all the cuddles and love from the techs and veterinarian throughout the whole process. The staff was prepared, had all the forms and plans printed out to go over with me, and quickly showed me to a room. I was amazed by the kindness, professionalism, and overall experience.
I've taken my pets to Tampa veterinary hospital for over 40 years. I started with doctor Avery and then doctor Chambliss and now doctor Webster. What I like most about doctor Webster and her staff is that they understand that my pets are my family and they treat them like family as well. I would NEVER think about going anywhere else with my fur babies. Thank you for taking care of my Shelties and always treating us like family.💜
The personnel were very nice and ready to assist if needed. They do offer strollers, wheelchairs and scooters for rent. The animals there appear healthy and it was clean. They have a lot of food, snack and drink booths throughout the park. There's a carousel, but adults aren't permitted to ride the animals on it. There's a small flume ride and a 30 minute "safari" in a comfortable vehicle. Unfortunately, a lot of animals were unavailable due to either construction or ??? No hyenas, no gorillas, no chimps, no camels, no tigers, no lions. The habitats appear small, but they're clean. Things are expensive. All animal encounters are only available for separate payments. I'm bummed that there wasn't more to do. I will say that for the price of two tickets, we now get to come and go until the end of 2024, yes 2024, for no extra cost, so that's nice and hopefully they'll improve. Also, word has it that they're talkin about destroying the clam shell that's been there forever to make way for more parking...I really hope they don't.
I went here for the first while visiting my son and his family. The zoo is fantastic. There are so many interactive events. And I absolutely loved the photos they take.
Super expensive, but all of the attractions are included with the price of admission (carousel, safari tour, ect). We went on a Tuesday in October so most kids were in school, and it was much more enjoyable since it wasn't packed! The zoo was much larger than expected! We were there for about 4 hours and still missed the Africa section. Also, the food and beer selection across the park was fantastic!

Great zoo! Fun for the kiddos! They have a big Mary go round with authentic animals to ride, a solid playground and even a splash park 👍. We always enjoy taking a family day trip here. The yearly passes are super easy and absolutely worth it if you have kids and plan to go more than a few times per year. This last trip was Halloween nights. All the characters were on point, very fun and family friendly. We had a great time!
LOVE LOVE LOVE this Zoo!!! Very easy to walk, the lay out is perfect! The kiddies area is amazing! The manatee area is a MUST and the orangutan exhibit is something I’ve never seen before at a zoo! The safari ride is something one must do!! Loved this zoo and will be planning another visit when we come back to Florida for another vacation!!
Very good group of veterinarians in people are top notch. They can usually take care of minor emergencies but will recommend a 24 hr emergency vet hospital such as veg.
We took our dog here for a late night emergency, and loved the care so much that we stayed as regular clients to the daytime clinic! Dr. Vaughn is wonderful to work with, as is the rest of the staff! Everyone is always kind and pleasant. My dog was recently very sick and a vet tech sat with me and answered every last question for me as some one else loaded my car up with my dog’s new food and his blanket. They also texted to follow up the day after and about week after he came in. Highly recommend working with this office!
It’s a nice zoo, $40+ per adult and $30+ for kids older than 3, kids under 3 gets in for free. For a family of four they have a membership pass that costs $240 and you are allowed two guests. The people are the ticket booth are very helpful. We visited in mid September, a few of the activities are currently not available. The train ride was not working for example.

They have a driving tour of the African Safari, it was quite interesting. We saw the penguins being fed. Loads of activities for kids and staff are friendly.

Long story short, my dog had an ear infection that was improperly treated by a different vet. Having just moved to the area, I was testing a new one out. I’m an emergency we had to get my dog’s ear looked at. He had a hematoma on his ear. The & vet tech were super friendly, honest and knowledgeable. Oty is on the road to recovery
I recently had to take my elder sick Beagle and companion of 10yrs in for what ended up becoming "end of life care". From the very beginning, the interactions with the amazing front desk staff, then the "rockstar" vet techs Alexa B. and Fabio Z. exuded professionalism and care which assured me I had brought my doggie to the right place. Then, speaking with Dr. Levengood where he kindly presented options for care but yet confidently stated the sad facts of her current situation, further provided comfort yet at the same time the courage to make the tough decisions needed. For such a tough visit, the entire staff made the process run smoothly yet extended great compassion during the emotional last moments with my companion of 10yrs. I couldn't ask for a better veterinarian staff to handle this situation with my pet and I very highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for a vet practice to care for their own pets. I plan on coming to them for future pet care and I remain deeply grateful to them for their professionalism and kindness.
This zoo is so good we originally went for the day but decided to get a yearly membership. Definitely worth joining, plus 50% of other zoos and aquariums that take part in it. Animals are in habitats that resemble their natural habitat. What an awesome experience to say the least. Go online and plan out your day by feeding the giraffes, or doing one of the other activities with an animal. A kid area with rides, and games for them to play for an additional cost. Also don't forget to ride the safari truck that explains about the different African animals in that area of the zoo. I highly recommend stopping by and checking out what it has to offer.
It was a well maintained place. We came when most kids went back to school so it was pretty empty so we could see everything pretty fast. I highly recommend coming to visit. It has a nice water fountain for anyone to cool off so I recommend wearing a swimsuit or fast drying clothing. Overall my experience was awesome. One thing I kind of was sad was most of the animals couldn’t be seen. Maybe they were hiding from the heat or something else. The Zoo was nice, and clean. Would totally recommend!!
They have excellent communication and transparent pricing. They always got my dog in quickly if she was sick. Better than my own doctor in terms of getting an appointment! Their whole process is great. Picking up meds is so easy. They removed a growth off my dogs eye a year ago. It’s healed nicely. We’re moving, so we have to change vets. We wish we could continue going here!! Thanks to Dr Johnson and the rest of the staff
I have worked in the vet field and have had dogs my whole life, so when i finally got my very own puppy of course i was worried sick about finding a trust worthy and affordable clinic. This place was right around the corner and made us feel so welcomed! Not only are their prices extremely reasonable and affordable but they treated my pup like an absolute princess, even with her growls at first! the vet was very kind and answered ALL of our questions! My pups first real vet experience was great, she got multiple shots but left wagging her tail and energetic!We will definitely be going her for a while! pic for reference <3

I cannot say enough good things about this clinic. The owner Dr. Tim saved my puppy! He brought in a board-certified surgeon Cody Burns, between the two of them he was immediately operated on after he was diagnosed with an intussusception at 13 weeks old. All of the staff that took care of him were exceptional. I highly recommend this clinic for your pet needs. Thank you to all of you, especially Steve and and Skylar for your care of my precious baby.
So incredibly grateful to this team and facility. After a very scary week with our girl they were able to squeeze her in for emergency surgery and put us at ease. After bringing her into two other facilities where we were left feeling uneasy this staff was a breath of fresh air. Thank you so much 💛

Worst vet I’ve ever been with. Tabitha specifically was incredibly rude threatening to send me my records because I was clearly unsatisfied with being forced to reschedule a second time. They have incredibly limited parking, the vet never makes an effort to meet clients and tries to coerce spending money by saying your dog has a possible serious condition on the very first visit (she was fine, just a growing pup) and to top it all off they down you with emails constantly trying to get more money out of you. Don’t go here!

When that time came, we were recommended to South Tampa Vet Care by a family member and we couldn’t have had a better experience.

I was referred to Dr. G by my roommate and a friend (who is a groomer). Both had been going to Dr. G for many years, and could not have sung her praises more. I made the switch, and I have been very pleased with the level of service, professionalism, and compassion Dr. G and her staff have provided to me and my dogs. Recently, I had to put my senior dog (Patsy) down, and despite being very short-staffed, Dr. G really went above and beyond to ensure that Patsy’s passing was as peaceful and comfortable as possible. I have complete confidence in the care my pet receives. You can see from his picture that my dog is calm and patiently waiting to be seen by the doctor. That says alot when even the patient is relaxed and doesnt have anxiety.

Since I was a little boy, I have bred, trained, and competed with my best friends, Portuguese Water Dogs Babalou, SambaLaBambababy, and YabbadabbadooPuppup. In my passion / hobby I have met a lot of dog experts and veterinarians. Veterinarian medical clinic is consistently the best I’ve ever seen.
I had a wonderful visit with Dr. Hodge. I had just adopted my kitten and he completed a very thorough check to make sure she was in perfect health! Dr. Hodge took his time to explain everything to me in detail and made sure I understood the diagnosis and treatments. I will be returning, and I recommend this vet to anyone in the area!
Great staff! Very friendly and accommodating. I saw Dr Lisa McNeil and my grumpy cat seemed to really like her and the assistant. I really like how she was with my kitty. 4/3/23 Wanted to update my review to again say how pleased I am with this clinic! I had to take my dog in today on a ‘semi’ emergency visit and I’ll be coming here from now on. I was going somewhere else but this clinic and every staff member I’ve met has exceeded my expectations! Thank you so much!
4/3/23 Wanted to update my review to again say how pleased I am with this clinic! I had to take my dog in today on a ‘semi’ emergency visit and I’ll be coming here from now on. I was going somewhere else but this clinic and every staff member I’ve met has exceeded my expectations! Thank you so much!
Go mobile would be the only thing you guys could do to improve. Service here is already A++++++!!!! The front office is great, the techs are awesome and Dr. Moore is amazing! He makes my nervous girl feel so comfortable. I wouldn’t trust my animals to anyone else. My family has trusted their pets to this office for 40 years.
Let the reviews speak for themselves. This clinic and its staff are the most professional, kind and caring group of individuals in their profession. It is why I drive from st pete to get the absolute best care for my dog.
I've been taking my cats here for a few years. I have been to many vets and this clinic has by far the kindest, most compassionate and knowledgeable vets I've experienced. My cats are elderly and sadly a few have crossed over to the Rainbow Bridge. All but one went to this vet for that final visit, and the cat that went somewhere else, I regret it every day, because his experience was nowhere near as calm and caring. Dr. Swank, Dr. Authement, and Dr. Mozinga have taken excellent care of my cats - I recommend any of these three doctors highly - and the cost of services has been much more reasonable than any other clinics I've visited. They always do what is best for your furbaby. Their vet techs are superb and very loving. Everyone here treats your cat as if it were one of their own. My kitties are going on 17 and they run and play like when they were kittens, thanks to these doctors keeping them in good health. I trust these doctors and clinic implicitly. If you take your kitty here - and they also see lots of doggies too - your animal will be well taken care of.
Wonderful, caring staff will make you feel welcome from the moment you step inside. They saw my dog same day for a broken toe. If you are anywhere in the city I'd look no further. Lovely loft style decor.
My dog has some health and major anxiety issues so I was concerned when moving about finding a good vet but Dr. Hodge put my mind at ease with our visit to him. He and Tabitha could not have made it a better experience, they were both wonderful with my little Maltese and spent ample time going through her issues (previous history and current concerns) with me. Many thanks to both of them for taking the time with us to be so thorough and answer all of my many questions!!
Wonderful experience taking my dog Maggie there to treat an ear infection. Dr. Hodge was very informative and great with her! The rest of the staff was great too; very informative,friendly and attentive. Prices were very reasonable and are provided before the services are performed so you know what to expect. The exam seemed very thorough and detailed, along with the report notes they give to you (and send via e-mail). Overall, great first experience and will definitely be taking Maggie there in the future. I highly recommend to anyone.
