On the plus side, the tee off areas are really nice and the lawn is well maintained. Downside, the next tee off points are rarely clear from the basket, and there is some gross water drainage near the course that it's easy to lose a disc in, and many of the baskets are these weird inverted cones instead of the standard chains.
I live in Cancun, this is something new to me, hopefully this will be an option soon in Cancun, it is a great idea to spend some time outdoors without any fancy equipment required. Thanks to Google maps, I love to be able to see what is happening around the globe
I just returned from the park a few minutes ago. I saw some young men within the disc golf area and from my observation they're doing well and they enjoyed a bit of what they're doing. If you're a fan or a player it's just nearby and easily accessible and conducive. You can visit it to have a wonderful time as well.
Love this course because I use it as a benchmark for how I'm throwing all my lines. This course provides so many different options utilizing open fairways along with plenty of wooded shots. Landing zones are key as this course still has cone style baskets on 12 of the 14 holes (holes 12 and 13 are chain style baskets). This is one of the most difficult and rewarding courses to putt on and I feel like it's helped me improve my game. Side note, I wish every holes tee pad had a broom.
Nice park and atmosphere, easily walkable if you're in the neighborhood. Absolutely bizarre layout with no map or even arrows pointing to the next hole. Most holes have the outdated cone baskets instead of the chains which are standard at high quality courses.
This Saucer Golf Course is currently only one of three remaining in the State of Minnesota with these cone style baskets.

I play league's here and its a fun well maintaned free disc golf course with great people
Since I was there last year the parks department has put a drainage basin between the first and last baskets. Along with the landscaping the left the ground uncovered and now it is a complete quagmire. Now you have to contend with mud and water. I am concerned they will close these two baskets in the spring so they can do more stupid manipulation. Municipal authorities need to start respecting one of the fastest growing sports and partner with local disc golf clubs on these land changes. Hansen is a unique disc golfing experience with the retro baskets and the challenging outlay.
