Reviews

Just to correct Alvina’s review…the ship not leaving the dock was communicated with my employer…so that was an accepted risk. As for the other comments regarding the quality of the food and the shortfall of dessert and appetizers still stands true. The organizers in our company did an amazing job to organize the company party, but jubilee cruises fell short on their end. The pressure of calling my employer and tracking me down for a negative review is not appreciated, and I stand by this 1 star review.

Reserved the odyssey premier dinner cruise on the 20th of December to celebrate our anniversary. Service was great. The servers were very friendly and attentive. The portion sizes were good. All meat options are halal!
There were plenty of photo opportunities of the sky line as well.

Only cons are that the vegetarian sampler for two was essentially a platter of fried frozen food. The red velvet cake also tasted like it was a store bought defrosted cake. They could also improve on the lighting indoors to make the experience more pleasurable for viewing at dinner. It definitely is an expensive dinner, but we left satisfied.

Would recommend as a one time experience if you are looking to splurge on a date night! Would also recommend that you arrive by 7:15 pm, as the dinner cruise leaves at 7:30 pm sharp
Just like many other customers, my husband went on this cruise and was completely dissatisfied. If I could, I would review this with zero stars. My husband went for a company Christmas party, and thankfully didn't have to pay for the indecent experience.

His cruise was supposed to leave at 5:30pm and come back at 9:00pm, but the boat never ended up leaving the dock. According to the staff, the water was too "choppy" and wasn't suitable for cruising, even though the company paid for it.

The food was the worst part. None of the items on the menu were actually given. For appetizers, they were served shredded mushrooms mixed with spinach, and sweet tarts that were cleary bought at a grocery store, all of which were served on paper plates without utensils. For the main course, there were no halal or vegetarian options except a sad stuffed butternut squash, that I could have easily made better at home. My husband's coworker who had the turkey, said that it was dry, and in need of flavour. They only served a small amount of dessert. Regardless of the sixty people who attended, there was only enough dessert for twenty people. Only those lucky twenty got dessert, and the other forty standing in line got nothing. My husband had dessert at home, which I happened to get extra of when I went out for dessert with my daughters.

The service was okay. The servers and other employees were friendly, and were working hard. The general service was not good though, and no one seemed to put work into the preparation.

Overall, taking account to the horrible food, and staying stationary, the experience was terrible and I would not recommend it for any events at all, and you should avoid this.

We caught the first tour ride out on a chilly November afternoon and had a ton of fun. I feel like there should be more signage directing people exactly where to go/line up here but once you see the boat you'll know you are where you're supposed to be.

The water was on the calm side but the boat still moved around a bit while sitting stationary at various points in the harbor. If you don't like rocking boats, make sure the water is calm and it's not a windy day! There's coffee, drinks, popcorn, and other snacks available for purchase on the boat and the prices weren't bad.

Once you're off the boat after your hour-long tour, head inside the building directly in front of the dock to use the restroom inside! I think half the boat immediately went inside to use the restroom.

Part of the CityPass, and it was well worth the sixty minute journey! We have had a lovely tour guide, who introduced us to various parts of the city, including Toronto Island and Billy Bishop Airport. There was a snack section downstairs with alcohol though I was too enamoured by the scenario to check those out. Also, if you have citypass, there’s no need to go to the kiosk next to the dock, just go straight to the boat. And since we went on a cold Tuesday in October we were fortunate to be able to walk in, because they mentioned reservations is recommended. It is an excellent tourist destination, lots of pictures to be taken!

The boat took off promptly. The guy narrating was excellent and spoke a lot about the surrounding views, buildings and area. Recommended if you get the CitiPass and remember to choose a day when it's sunny/good weather.

Wonderful experience. Friendly staff. The view at night time is recommended. Skyline looks beautiful. Cruise is nicely paced. Lots of seating and photo op times. Enjoyed listening to the speaker provide facts about historical places of interest during the cruise. Would for sure try again, if your new to Toronto, it's a must.

I took a group of seniors and it was great. The staff helped everyone onboard and stored their walkers. There is a 4 inch lip getting into the boat so wheelchairs would not be able to board. There are several steps down to the washroom but my people used the restroom before they boarded so it was fine. Good narration and beautiful views. For $40 you can't go wrong.
I can tell that the owners care about their clients and staff here. My family had the most beautiful experience. Staff was world class service. From the warm welcome to delicious food with beautiful views. A must try experience with Yankee Lady. Already looking forward to going back.
I thought it was an amazing experience. Had such an amazing conversation with the captain who apparently had built it years ago. It’s amazing when the person who is captain it is also the person who built it. It’s really about how someone takes their passion and shares it with others.

I've been on the Jubilee Queen at least 4x times this year. I've hosted my Annual boat ride on the boat two years in a row and I've been a guest on two other occasions and a DJ on the boat.

Bret (manager) has always been understanding and has always maintain professionalism with me and my guests. As well as Hanna (sound engineer).

Bret and his team are super welcoming and accommodating the staff has assisted me with brining on food and even some of the guys offered to bring my equipment on board. The staffs awareness is great weather it be a spill on the boat, emptying garbage, replenishing drinks and ice at our tables there on top of everything. Bartenders are super quick and professional. If there is anything I need Bret has always done his best to make it happen for my self and guests.

Couple suggestions for Mr. Mike(Owner) we need to get some upgrades done on the boat sir. We need to remove those tables upstairs near the bar open up that area with the wall for the dancefloor to be bigger or even cut a square in the floor like the Enterprise 2000 so we can have people both upstairs and downstairs dancing. Sound system could use some upgrading and few small aesthetics overall to modernize the boat. Lastly the city needs to do something about the parking lot its pretty bad for parking and too many pot holes.

I look forward to always supporting the Jubilee Queen. Big shout out to Bret & his team. From yours truly Dj Techmatic
As a promoter who used this boat many times Brett and the staff have been amazing at accommodating to our guests and making sure things run smoothly! Thanks again!

The sunset dinner cruise on the Odyssey was a great date night for my wife and I. We went on a day with daytime weather that was pretty dreary. The expectation for an amazing sunset was low but at the last minute the sun broke through the clouds and the sunset was amazing!!!

Our server Kate was very good at her job plus she was funny and friendly as well.

We made friends with the other people at the tables around us.

The food was very good.

It was a great night.
Our 1 hour tour was fabulous. The guide, Micheal, was very knowledgeable with a great sense of humour. The views of the Toronto skyline were stunning. A relaxing time.
The worst experience in my life, thanks to security staff in the boat, I will never want to go again to Jubilee queen events, nor recommend it to anyone. We've been harrusted and bullied by the security. After 2 hours the security asked us to leave the table because some group were willing to pay extra for bottle service to take over our place. My boyfriend said stop bothering us show me a piece of document or any part of your cruise trip info that says this area is for bottle service and I will leave the table... they had nothing to show but they been more abrasive and bullies they surrounded our table like a gung one of them put his finger very close to the eye of my boyfriend almost touching his eye while talking, and he hit his phone because he was recording their attitude. My boyfriend said pull the boat back to the port we want to leave, they argued to call a taxi boat to take us but we have to pay until (i started CRYING) and said yes I will pay for it I can't stay here. We seriously felt unsafe. They stayed standing at our table very closely harrusted us for another 15 minutes after the argument and they left.
Had an amazing time. The staff were super helpful and friendly. The tour guy on the boat was funny and informative. I think for the price, the value is great considering it is a 1hr long activity. Great scene of Toronto skyline.

The cruise goes through the entire Harbourfront and gets just a little closer to the island. To me, it was nothing special. The staff was friendly and the guide was great.

I would recommend going only if you get free tickets or if you get the city pass.

It’s a wonderful location for the docking of cruises.

We had a chance to party one night we parked the cars in there but it was for paid though.
Had one of the worst night out experiences since I’ve been old enough to party in Toronto. I was very disappointed with the size and layout of the boat. Not enough space to move, party or dance, I wouldn’t even call it a party it was more of a social event vibe tbh and not what I expected or paid for. Not to mention there was a very dangerous altercation with multiple guests and security guards that ended with 5 cop cars showing up, me and my friends did not feel safe, and as a result had to leave to go somewhere else. Do not recommend and will not be coming back.

Great Tour/Voyage
Super 👌 friendly staff! Very personable and helpful.
I took my elderly mom on the Toronto Harbour Tour and she really enjoyed it. These facilities are also very accessible to people with different mobility circumstances.
Very good experience, would highly recommend.
If you're visiting Toronto, Toronto Harbour Tours is a must. Great prices including discounted fare for seniors and children.
This tour has been my favourite part of my short break to Toronto so far. They were very professional and the boat ride itself was very relaxing - you just want to stay on the boat the whole day if the weather is nice.

Our guide was very good. She really knew what she was talking about and had a great sense of fun.
What an amazing adventure. The caption and first mate were amazing. We had an amazing time great laughs and beautiful views. Thank you caption Samantha and first mate Michael ( sorry of I got the names wrong I'm horrible) it was definitely a trip to remember.

Took an evening boat tour with Toronto Harbour Tours in late May 2023. Gorgeous sunset views! The hour long narrated boat tour was a fun way to experience the Toronto Harbour and Toronto Islands. Informative and humorous tour guide. Fantastic views of the Toronto skyline.
Tour is ok. Pictures on site bit mis leading. We thought it will be ship or cruise with viewing deck or platform. But it turned out to be water taxi. Only thing you could do is take pictures of skyline and not of actual person as barely any space to stand. Captain and guide were good with narration but they can have lot better tour and also mention water taxi to be specific.

It was great and fun. We love cruise Toronto. It's almost 1 hour ride they discribe the every place what we see.
Recently attended a wedding on the Yankee lady and it was fantastic!! We were hesitant when we heard it'd be on a boat but it exceeded our expectations. The boat is spacious and the views are incredible. We were on the boat from 5:30-11. The servers were friendly and kept the drinks flowing all night! The decor of the boat is a bit dated, but overall nice. The microphone could use an upgrade as there was feedback the whole night. The food was also quite good, I had the stuffed chicken and it was tasty!

Went to Toronto Cruise in August to a private pirate party. Everything was great and staff were friendly. It could be nice if they had more chairs to sit but not a big deal!

This boat cruise was wonderful. We did the evening tour. Staff were very nice. Our wait staff Stella was amazing! The night scenery was beautiful. I would definitely recommend this to others.
We took the Air Show lunch cruise over Labour Day. If you plan on doing this show, you MUST arrive on time for boarding, so the boat can make it out to the designated viewing area on the lake. A few people ran a few minutes late and that meant we missed our window of opportunity. The marine police turned us away just as the air show began. Needless to say, we had to circle the island to reach our viewing point. An hour later!
The food was better than expected especially after reading a few comments here. We really enjoyed it. Buffet options salads, choice of chicken or pasta or both. The crew was very courteous and accommodating for those with dietary restrictions. Note it’s a cash bar for drinks non-alcoholic and alcohol. The coffee and deserts were nothing special.
Great to see the air show once we finally made it. Amazing vantage point.

The Obsession III cruise was fantastic. The staff were courteous and attentive without being intrusive. We started with plenty of different horderves that were fantastic. The dinner was fresh and delicious as was the desert. The view of the city at night from the lake was spectacular. We plan to make this an annual trip.
Had a wonderful time. The crew members were friendly, helpful and courteous. Cold water bottle was always available on each table. The food was delicious. It was country theme so we feasted on chicken, ribs, ham and other side dishes. The chicken was moist and flavourful. There was plenty of left overs for second round. The boat was clean and everything was organized well. We went with a group of seven people and everyone enjoyed themselves. I've been to other dinner cruises and this was the best one. Five stars all around. Will book again.
We had a lovely work party on board the jubilee queen for a dinner cruise and cocktails. Beautiful views, weather, music and food. Thank you for allowing us all to let loose while sailing around the beautiful Toronto harbour! Highly recommend!

2nd time doing the Air Show Cruise with them. The cruise is 4 hours out on the water plus a casual BBQ. Nothing too fancy with the food. The staff are always super friendly. The boat is aged inside yet still one of the most beautiful boats at Harbour Front . There are 3 levels with an inside covered area on 2 levels which is perfect if it rains. Plenty of outside space to catch some sun too. The top level views are gorgeous.
