Lovely sit-down spot or just popping past, offers a variety of hot drinks as well as pastries. Also has some produce including the cheapest eggs I can find. Definitely deserves a check out
Great coffee and cake place! Love meeting friends for a chat or grabbing a takeaway cup to get me through my day.
The service was absolutely spot on and incredible. But quite disappointed with the food. It was not seasoned and I ordered their toasted sandwich as I have done previously. But they brought 1 toasted sandwich instead of 2 as in the past last year. I was told after recieving the food that the menu had been changed but yet the price increased (same meal, but now halved and costs more - does not make sense). Just disappointed in the overall quality of food. But still excellent coffee, as always.
Really good toasted sandwiches, however they charge R8 for soy milk on top of a R32 double-shot cappuccino, which is rough compared to other places in the area.
This is such a cute little place. If I lived in CT and needed a coffee shop to work from, this would be it! My croissant filled with milktart custard was delish and not overly sweet. Service was on-point. Love the ambience.
The coffee was decent. The croissant was very disappointing (been twice, but both times I had the same experience). The pain au chocolat (chocolate bread croissant) was doughy, chewy, and lacking salt. The chocolate was hard inside as well. Solid blocks of chocolate. You are better off getting a croissant from the BP across the road and going to the pantry for your coffee. Will give them one more chance though!
Always a fantastic experience highly recommend it. Came in for lunch their menus had just changed and the food was fantastic love the variety and the fact that I can get gluten-free, the florentines were beyond good.

Oh my goodness, the pies are amazing. Being from the UK, a good Steak and Ale pie always goes down well. The pastries are awesome too. It's now my goto place for coffe on the way to work.
