Amazing place, the interior is also very beautiful

On the website it indicated it was open. When we entered a service was on. We respectfully waited until the end of the service but were approached at the end by a man speaking French that we should leave particularly when we indicated that we spoke English . Ruined my daughters love of learning russian and interest in their culture/ religion. So disappointed.

The 2 paintings on the left and right walls in the middle of the church touched my heart.

Very beautiful church , the choir sings beautifully,the priest is very attentive to people, it was very nice Easter in Cathedral .

Ещё до приезда в Париж, я интересовалась есть ли в Париже где - нибудь православный храм. И мне сказали, что такой храм есть и дали его адрес. Дело в том, что я бы сама наверное его не нашла бы, так как он очень неприметный и только если кто-то знает о нём наверняка , где он находится, только в этом случае его можно найти и в него можно попасть. Мне было важно посетить именно православный храм. Так как здесь в Европе их не так то и много. Была вечером в 18.00, и как раз попала на начало вечерней службы. Конечно ощущения у меня были именно те, которых я и ожидала. Именно за этим я сюда и ехала. Я православная, но с недавних пор живу в Европе и этот храм для меня как частичка моего храма, в который я ходила у себя дома. Меня может понять только истинно верующий человек. Сам храм не большой, но очень по домашнему уютный и в нём всё так, как и должно быть в православном храме. Всё в традициях православия. Конечно есть небольшие отличия, но это не так важно, потому что сюда мы приходим к Богу и это самое главное. Я очень довольна, что мне удалось здесь побывать.

I've personally been to over 70 churches in Paris, following Guide des visites d'églises published by Art Culture et Foi.

First of all, I must state that this is one of the best churches I've seen in Paris center. It's so intense inside you could feel that this is a special place.

I really wonder why it's not listed in the guide des visites d'églises... This place should imperatively be listed in the booklet... I'm very surprised that such a special place is not listed...

No cameras please. These photos are from postcards purchased at the Cathedrale, of massive, powerful themes of Christ and the apostles. When I viewed these in person they are BREATHTAKING. Jesus walking on water calming the storm...I wept, it is so moving. I found this peaceful beauty as I wandered Parc Monceau and the neighborhood surrounding. It's beauty demands reverence and there is a mystery surrounding the relics.

A Russian-Orthodox gem in this quiet neighborhood within easy walking distance to the Champs Élysée. Can be visited at times and offers regular services. Consecrated in 1861 and very beautiful!

L'église est très cosy, un vrai lieu de prière en face de la mairie du XV-ème. Les fresques originales sont peintes par le père Grégoire Kroug, moine orthodoxe converti dans les années 30-40. Il a été ami et collaborateur fidèle de Léonide Ouspensky, iconographe de renom étant parmi les pionniers du renouveau iconographique en Europe occidentale.

Paroisse orthodoxe russe (Patriarcat de Moscou). Liturgies matin et soir. Les fresques de l'église ont été réalisées par deux célèbres iconographes de l'émigration russe à Paris : le moine Grégoire Kroug et l'iconographie Leonid Ouspensky.

Mon église, très fraternelle, notre évêque et nos prêtres sont des serviteurs sincères et fidèles de notre Seigneur Jésus Christ, et des exemples pour notre foi.

Ходим туда всей семьёй. Батюшки очень приятные, отзывчивые. Сын ходит в русскую школу при церкви, ему очень нравится. Дети хорошие, воспитанные. Мне там приятно находиться.
Службы проходят каждый день.
