Picked up a boat load of homemade jam, used books and baked goods at their Fall Fair.
Gorgeous cathedral with beautiful lighting.
Pretty church with lots os stained glass. Good tour guide. Nice place to see but also a quiet place to sit and be grateful in midst of a busy city.
It's such a beautiful church, both inside and out. Offers Sunday services.
Father Jonathan is very welcoming and made our sons baptism very easy and stress free.
Although it was not open for tours, we did go in before the Sunday service. The minister and a lady who worked there showed us around, including the "ghost" photo in the museum, pointed out the different parts of the architecture, and the stained glass the survived the great fire! They were, like most Newfoundlanders, very friendly!
Warning: no ground level bathrooms and the bathrooms are down a steep set of stairs to the basement with no wheelchair/disability access.

Very beautiful church though and lots of parking on the weekends.

I don't usually go to church but I'm seriously considering going to your church. I love closeby so there is no excuse. What time is your service?

An nice historic church to attend a worship service in.
Stunning Cathedral!! A must see! Beautiful architecture, stained glass windows and organs. The wood ceiling and arches are amazing. Must speak low out of respect and due to voices that echo. Please video inside the Cathedral as I did...when I was recoding you could hear a pin drop as there was no other person around but when I listened to the video afterwards I could hear the pipes making beautiful sounds, foot steps walking on the old wood floor, (there was only me there in the morning) knocking sounds from around and echoes of odd noises. Amazing Location and you must not miss it. There are several other Cathedrals and Churches in St. Johns Newfoundland that are worth visiting.
A few pictures provided of my visit 🙂
Beautiful inside and outside. A must visit when in the area!

Beautiful church
An absolutely beautiful structure. I am not religious and was there for a service. Stained glass and pipe organ are impressive
Nice stage on the lower level

Beautiful architecture
It is always good to go back to St. Mary's. The morning tea was wonderful and the treats were very tasty. It is strange to complain about the price being too low but the morning tea was worth a lot more then the $3.00 that they charged. Thanks everyone.
Great place and everyone is fantastic.
Terrific Godly rector.
