I needed to buy shoes for my uncle who lives in a nursing home in van nuys He saw a commercial and wanted to try skechers. I am visiting from out of state. I went in on Sunday,
and they had a special running. Buy one and get one 30% off. The only problem, they only had one pair in his size In stock. With deliveries arriving Monday, I returned to the store and bought the two pairs in his size they received. I received the deal. I SHOULD have returned the pair from Sunday at that time and repurchased them with the two new pairs. I took the three pairs to my uncle and he picked two pair. When I returned the third pair, it was the "sale pair". So I paid full price for two pairs of shoes. "There's nothing we can do, it's a corporate policy." I called the number they gave me for corporate, and was told it's a store policy. I could return to the store and ask for a regional manager. My only option at this point is getting the shoes frommy uncle, returning them and repurchasing them. Involving quite a bit of driving and time. Lesson learned. NEVER AGAIN CANOGA PARK SKECHERS!!

I had a tribble experience today at Topanga Westfield Skechers
I went in to shop the shoes which I liked but cashier was super super super rude I don't know his name, but he was a black guy and when I asked his name or asked for manager he said he is the manager and didn't say his name !!!!! He brought the shoes from the stock which wasn't the same as I picked and he even didn't give it to me just left them on the counter rudely then I looked at the shoes and asked him to bring me the exact one that I picked again he brought it and put them on the counter rudely!!!!! It was just unbelievable. Then he said if you don't want the shoes, you put them back in the box!!!!! OMG, that is your job, not customer's. He wasn't even busy at all, there was only me at that moment.He yelled at me and said I'm not gonna sell any shoes to you !!!!! And kicked me out...... It never happened such a thing to me.
Never will come back to this store anymore, although I love Skechers.

I stopped by this Vans store today to look at their skateboard collections. My wife was shopping at a bag store next door so I didn't want to wait around for her there. When I walked in, a worker greeted me and asked if I needed any help. I told her I was just browsing around and she didn't interrupted me. They have some nice collections of skateboard here if you want to come take a look. I also looked at their shoes and shirts. I don't wear Vans stuff but some of their selections were nice.

Good thing we didn’t need any help bc the two young females working in the completely empty store other than ourselves couldn’t be bothered, and finished their personal convo and cell phone engagement… didn’t even acknowledge us. We left after several minutes of this treatment, or non-treatment as it were. All while within 5-6 feet of the associates. So … we went upstairs to Doc Marten and spent our money there where we were greeted by very attentive associates . 🤷🏼♀️

Customer service is just worthless. The staff ignore you the entire time. When I asked about available sizes they told me to look it up myself on my phone. They wouldn't let me try on shoes either. What is the point of a shoe store? JD, what are you paying this staff for?

Big selection here. It was busy, but Roderick was so kind enough to help make sure we found shoes for my kids. He really juggled a lot, and the store is lucky to have him! Keisha helped us check out and was very sweet!

Zero customer service. A bunch of wanna be cool people working here. Like seriously you work for minimum wage and act like you are kings and queens. Karma is a beautiful thing and people who treat others with such attitude and unkindness will reap what they sow. Spend your hard earned money where you are treated as a customer not a dog.

This is the horrible store in the Topanga Mall they don't even care about anything here, Marcus is the manager in this time he have a crazy attitude he don't even try to fix my problem, BE CAREFUL EVERYONE DONT EXPEND YOUR MONEY HERE. I buy a pair of shoes here I did pay CASH 💲 then they canceled my order in send me a check ✔️ it was December 12, 8 days Later nothing coming yet to my house 🏠!!! This establishment boasts an impressive collection of sneakers, but unfortunately, the customer service left much to be desired during my recent visit. Upon arriving, I noticed a lengthy line, and it became apparent that the limited number of registers was causing delays. The manager, whom I believe is named Shark or Shak, observed the situation but chose to halt customer service and proceed to count her draw because she was leaving. When approached and asked if she could enlist additional assistance, she ignored us with a dismissive and rude attitude. This experience was disheartening given the otherwise appealing selection of kicks in the store.

Last week we purchased two pairs of boots and asked about their return policy (to ensure we could return the boots if we decided not to keep them.)
I went today to return the boots and Jen the manager proceeded to tell me that there was a maximum daily returns at 200$ (a policy that was not mentioned at purchase, or written on the ‘returns policy’ at the desk). I asked her why it was not mentioned at purchase or on the poster at the desk and she continued to blame ‘corporate’.
After 10 minutes of back and forth she agreed to do the return of the second pair and said she would have to do an ‘incident report to corporate’.
Jens attitude was abrasive and rude, and included eye rolls and tuts. She was extremely unprofessional. I will be lodging a complaint via Steve Madden about her attitude and behaviour.

Bought the all black Nike Vapor Max Plus for me and for my fiance. They are the absolute best work shoes we have ever had. We work for the studios sometimes almost 15+ hr days on our feet almost the entire time.

I went to the Westfield Topanga location on a Wednesday and the sales girl informed me that she could have the shoes I wanted shipped to my house since there was only one pair in store and it had some damage. The employee told me it would be 2 day shipping repeatedly but I was never sent any sort of tracking number or email confirming my order. On Monday I called the store as the shoes should have already arrived at my home according to what I was originally told. The employee on the phone said they hadn't even been sent out yet and that they would send it that day with 2 day shipping as they now had the shoes in store. I was told they should arrive on Wednesday. I called again on Thursday only to be told they hadn't been sent out until that day and would arrive on Friday with 1 day shipping. On Friday I called again and the person I spoke with told me that "as I had been told yesterday" the employee from the day before had attempted to speak to FedEx in order for the package to arrive by Friday but it would be arriving on Monday, meaning the person I spoke to on Thursday wasn't honest about what day my shoes would arrive. My shoes did arrive on Monday but that was 12 days after I ordered them meaning it was 10 days later than I had initially been told. The shoes didn't arrive in time for what I needed and I had to spend an entire day looking for something else last minute so I returned them. The entire reason why I was looking for my shoes in advance is that I was trying to avoid this and ended up in an uncomfortable situation regardless due to the overall awful service I was provided. I don't understand how my order was messed up so badly and I'm upset that I was lied to 3 separate times. It was my first time shopping at this store. It was frustrating and stressful when it should have been very simple so I wouldn't recommend ordering anything at the store unless you have plenty of time and are willing to keep calling for updates. I'm disappointed I was strung along that whole time in order for them to keep the sale when they could have been honest about when the shoes would arrive. If they had been honest I would have gotten a heads up to look for another pair of shoes sooner and I may have even decided to keep the shoes (which arrived late) since the main reason I returned them was the terrible customer service.

Great selection and stock on hand!! Very good customer service despite only one person running the show! In fact, better customer service than the stand alone outlet store in Northridge which has more employees (that aren't nearly as helpful!)- I recommend!

I was given a pair of shoes that were already in worn condition when purchased. I was unable to wear the shoes to the event I had , so I decided on returning them. The employee refused my return claiming I had worn them, which I had not. I asked for a manager and she claimed to be one. Then she claimed her manager was not there, and to come back in an hour. Which I was ok with, but this was a lie her manager was there. The number they initially provided me to call was their direct phone number , and when I went back they refused to give me a general mangers phone number. They provided me with a customer service number that after being on hold for 2 hours never picked up.

After 3 days they email me to cancel because I didn't no no pick up the other I went the nextt day on Sunday business ahorras indicate they where open and at 10 and I wait until 11 just to find out that they sold my item to some else. Found Chucks that weren't overpriced, of course I paid them a visit and got me a pair of some Classics.
Staff was friendly and approachable. Helpful and assiduously attending to the comfort, wishes of others; very polite and very courteous.
And I even liked the shopping bag, it's very cool! (I just hope it's water resistant.)

I went into Van's to buy a gift for someone, it was early afternoon and the store was empty. The staff didn't once ask if I needed help and like other reviews have said, I felt like they were too bothered and annoyed.
I was in the store for quite a while too and the only service (if that) was when I asked for a size. BUT, to top it off, NONE of the shoes I asked for (probably asked for 5 or 6 different ones) were in the size I wanted. You'd think that the staff would have offered a solution or alternative? You would think they would act like they wanted me to buy something? At least point me to their website right?? Nope.
So I ended up leaving, having bought nothing with such a bad taste in my mouth. Never going back. I'm not asking for star quality service, but just common basic service. You can find so much better at other stores.

This Vans store in the Westfield shopping center has a good selection of well, Vans shoes, clothing and accessories. Service was helpful and friendly, the associate did a great job trying to find a good fit. The store itself was pretty clean and organized.

I've been to other Journeys locations and like those, this one has excellent, friendly staff. Service is quick.. staff is right on top of things, handling multiple customers well. Selection is good - they have a depth of colors and styles most other casual footwear stores lack. Pricing is competitive and at times better than their competition. For service, come here. They are fairly small stores, but they have excellent service and surprisingly good selections for men, women and children.

Awesome customer service! They got it together in there...Ask for Tatiana she is good at her job. She has a smile all the time and is patient with the kids. She makes me want to buy Skechers all the time...

Went in, came out like <20 mins later w some cute Timbs. Guys helped us promptly and even took the liberty of bringing out suggestions for me based on my style... Too bad i was there for work shoes. But it was cool. Quick service, nice selection.
