I was greeted with a smile by Jennifer when I visited the Cardiff store last week. I have a few body confidence issues, but needed a dress for a wedding.
From the moment I entered the shop I was instantly put at ease.
Jennifer suggested a few dresses and gave me a few words of wisdom as well as such kind hearted compliments. I brought two dresses and literally floated out of the shop.

Got a pair of leather shoes for a wedding.
Didn’t really know what style we were looking for but Madeleine had all the time in the world for us and with her professionalism we narrowed it down to two dresses. She then accommodated us the following day as my daughter wanted to try the two dresses on again before making a final decision. Beautiful dresses and great customer service
Just the most wonderful time finding ‘The Dress’ for my Daughters Prom. Madeline at City Prom was perfect…not only was she attentive, warm & enthusiastic, her kindness & interest in my daughter made the whole experience super special. We can’t thank you enough for your help xxx
Back in November myself and my daughter went to city prom at the time just to get an idea of what she wanted, needless to say it was rather overwhelming she had an idea of what she wanted , but after trying the first dress that went out the window. The amount of time Madeleine
spent with my daughter trying different styles colours was amazing we got it down two dresses but in the end it was the first dress she tried on the furthest from what she wanted 🤦♀️🤣 Madeleine was so patient with her nothing was too much trouble . The experience was so lovely that I arranged for my neice to look for a dress here as well , again Madeleine put my neice totally at ease as she is quite shy but she found the dress that made her feel amazing . Can't wait for their proms now to upload photos to show how stunning the dresses are but for now we have I said yes to the dress photos . Thank you Madeleine you made it very special for the two of them 🥰 also Madeleine only had to look at them both didn't need to know sizes she just knew , that talent amazes me 👏👏⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The main place for most of the tours ie Viking and whale and dolphin tours, plus ferry terminal to hope on to go to other island.
Bought a nice jumper because that's all I could try on.
When asked why fitting rooms were closed staff just said sorry and continued serving. We asked if we could pop clothes on a rail and staff said "id rather you put them back" which we found pretty rude.
As someone who rarely fits in clothes from urban, it's a shame that there was 7 Items I loved but I couldn't try any of them on.

Great choice of clothing, footwear and coats I bought a lovely fake fur coat for going out, love. New Look always something I want when I go in. Great prices and selection. Would recommend.
Lovely Shop with lots of choices and a few floors. However, on both visits lately the Customer Service at the main checkout on the ground floor is very questionable!

We came to the shop to have a look at the selection of dresses. Madeline was an amazing help. She was kind caring and very patient. My daughter must have tried nearly every dress in the shop ( Some multiple times). She gave constructive advice on colour, shape style etc and was so patient with my daughter. I would highly recommend anyone that needs to purchase a prom dress for their child or a dress for a special occasion you won’t go wrong here. You will leave the shop feeling like a princess. She is attentive without trying to oversell. We loved our experience and I would highly recommend this shop to all our friends. Thank you so much Madeline xx

Lovely store in St David's Centre. The staff were very helpful. The store is very well laid out. Easy to find the type of garment your looking for. The staff jump on the tills as soon as customers start to queue. Great shopping experience.
I took my mum out shopping to Cardiff as she’s never been before and we wanted to pop into Yours as I had a jumper to return. The staff there are awful and weren’t friendly at all. My mum and me were very polite to them, but they didn’t even say thank you or anything. Me and my mum certainly won’t be shopping there again and we will be going to another Yours with more friendly staff.
Spacious and clean, lots of choices in styles and colours. Loved the manikins, as they gave ideas of the latest fashion and how to team it with accessories
This was the dirtiest and messiest Urban Outfitters I have ever been in! The first three/four metres into the shop were fine and the racks and floor were tidy but the further you went in the more clothes were on the floor and the more displays were messy. I went to try something on and the changing rooms were dirty with big clumps of dust on the floor and mucky doors and walls. The staff who were supposed to be supervising the changing rooms were busy talking to each other so customers were leaving clothes in the cubicals. Some of the plants in the home section were half dead as they clearly hasn't been watered in ages. A very disappointing visit to this particular store.

Had a lovely experience here purchasing a Morilee dress for my daughter's prom. Madeleine could tell my daughter's dress size at a glance and we were able to order in my daughter's first choice of dress. Our appointment was exclusively ours, so we were able to try several other dresses that we had earmarked as alternates. Madeleine also connected us with a fabulous seamstress (Sarah) for alterations, who also did a great job at a good price. The dresses in the shop are both beautiful and of great quality. Highly recommended!
As others said staff were rude and unprofessional. When I pay the staff did-not give me a receipt and forgot to ask .in that second i realised have not had receipt and I came back to store and explained .but they told me literally we can’t help it they saw even tag as well.manager was rude27/06.she doesnot have any idea about customer service .never gonna go there.seen many shops never like this .if I can give less than one star I will .

Extremely rude staff. I went to return a pair of trousers that I bought in store which were delivered to my house. I couldn’t seem to find the dispatch email, the staff were very unhelpful and didn’t offer any support whatsoever. The other lady just kept saying that I needed the paper receipt which I didn’t have, as it was 2 hours away because there are no Yours stores near me!
You don’t need a paper receipt to return, you can just use an email, so she was wrong! It was apparently a lot of trouble. The lady I was dealing with was very rude and aggressive, barking orders at me like I was a child (even though, no one deserves to be spoken to in such a manner).
I also put my phone away after showing her the dispatch note after finding it (with no offer of help) for her to demand it back again so she could fill out a form! I felt like I was doing something wrong due to their aggressive nature.
Both my mum and I were going to buy something but didn’t bother after that experience. Don’t bother. I would take your custom elsewhere! Never again.

Accompanied my daughter this morning to return a pair of trousers and right from the start the lady serving behind the counter seemed to be moody and there was no “good morning, can I help you” she just said “yes”. My daughter had to log on to the shops WiFi to access the info the assistant requested with no offer of help. Eventually my daughter found what she thought the assistant wanted but it was incorrect so we had to move to the side again so that she could find the invoice. Another assistant was saying she needs a paper receipt. Why do you need a paper receipt when all the info is on an email. They were both very unhelpful and aggressive in their demeanour. My daughter did find the info and then when she put her phone away the assistant wanted some further info. I have never been to a clothes shop like it before. It seems ridiculous all that info just to be refunded £19.00

me and my friends came here after our final exam, sat down waiting for our friends who are buying stuff to try stuff on, women who seemed in a bad mood who was a worker comes over to us “can you guys move this is not a community center” as we are sat down where a big sofa and table is??? we come here ALL the time and sit there for hours at a time and nobody has ever had a problem with it. not sure if this person is having a bad day and taking it out onto everyone but someone needs to sort her out !!! 😡
Popped in this evening as I needed a wedding guest outfit in a hurry, they have gotten rid of their curve section and even though all their sizes run to a size 22 (I'm a size 20/22 depending on fit) they had no dresses above a size 18. I am really disappointed as I don't want to have to spend over £200 on your website ordering 6 dresses just to try on because you don't stock them in store, it's bad customer service and very disappointing that the High Street is being so un-inclusive of size.
It was such a lovely customer service by Madeline. Very friendly environment. We had wonderful chit chat while trying my gown. I really love the gown that I purchased for Mrs Asia pageant competition. Love to revisit City Prom near future. Highly recommend!!! :)

Awful and rude customer service staff. All look angry and annoyed to be working there. Customer service at every other store in that shopping Center other than urban outfitters has lovely polite staff. This stores staff is just rude and bitter. Whoever was working upstairs last night absolutely horrid!
was there yesterday and noticed today that one of the items i purchased isnt in the bag even though it's not something very small that could've gone unnoticed. on the receipt it even says that it got scanned. the girl that was at the checkout however was already in a miserable mood it seemed like and like she didnt even want to be there so i'm not sure if it was done on purpose or she really just forgot to put it in there but i'm really upset because i paid 30 pounds and cant even get a refund or get the same product for free. just very disappointing experience.
In this store you can buy clothes for little money and good quality. I shopped here and was satisfied.
Went here on the 21st March 5-6pm where I was approached by an awful bitter woman who either was having a bad day &/ or hates her job & likes to take it out on customers.I changed my mind on a piece of clothing & put it back where I found it! this is when she spoke to me in a nasty tone and insisted I put it back where I found it ?? confused, she gestured her hands to me to go away and would not listen or look at me, very rude and spoke over me.I went to complain about this brunette round faced woman who turned out to be a manager somehow, I then heard her speak about me loudly on purpose on a radio after I couldn’t find a proper way to make a complaint because no one of higher authority was available. This led to trigger my anxiety and almost cry in store cutting my shopping short . I’m only 19 I have no business of being a karen or rude to retail workers.Even if I did do what she said (which I didn’t) it’s in her job description so I suggest she takes another look at it before trying to make ppl feel upset for no reason. I have to return something from that day because I was too scared to try it on after, but I’m too anxious to go back!! Should not be a manager if you can’t listen to reason.
Just had a really poor experience with 'Holly' on the ground floor desk. Honestly can't believe how awful she was. Thankfully an embarrassed colleague took over, apologised on Holly's behalf and served me.
I love it in here, shop here all the time and never had a problem with staff as other reviews say.

What a fabulous experience for my eldest daughter choosing her first prom dress.
Madeleine was so patient, understanding and knowledgeable and let my daughter go through the whole process at her own pace. We had the boutique to ourselves and at no point felt rushed or pressured.
My daughter came away with the most beautiful dress. She thoroughly enjoyed her experience and I know that we will be back when it's my youngest daughter's turn.

As others have said very frustrating shopping experience prices are all in euros, but when you try and purchase it isn’t even the correct conversion to pounds! I was told they have increased their prices outside of the EU - but clearly the cardiff branch can’t be bothered to change their price tags. Don’t bother going I say!
Quality does not match the prices. The shirt sizes are off and there's never enough choice in sizes either. The sweaters I've bought here have faded really quickly compared to other shops and the leather belts have left marks on my shirts and trousers. There is a good changing area though and the self-serve tills are hassle free.
I love the clothes and staff in new look, they are so nice and welcoming however there is always one who is too entitled. Where everyone was trying on their heels there was a pile of heels which is expected in such a busy place, the Capital of Wales.. a female staff member came over to a bunch of people trying shoes rolled her eyes sighed and went into the staff only area you could tell that the people there were made uncomfortable.

I went to buy an outfit for my Niece's wedding, the staff were attentive, and really helpful. I wish I knew the lady's name that got me a jacket to compliment my suit. She was 👌 👏 blonde, short she was totally right with the jacket I picked, it wasn't right, she got me another, it was perfect. Then another lovely blonde lady helped with shoes, bag, dress and fasinater. Beautiful customer service 👌

Looking for plus size clothes for a wedding. This store had a reasonable range of stock and the assistance by the the member of staff was excellent. I will go back, good to see stores holding plus size stock.

Only a relatively small premises but have been pleased to find hair decoration for a bride and wedding shoes here. Also noticed a good selection of fascinators now in stock, so if you're wedding outfit shopping give Quiz a go!
As others have said, the staff are rude and unhelpful. The pricings of clothes are incorrect and inconsistent with the prices found online. However, when you try to purchase something they do not allow you to pay the price on the tag and instead refer to their website to show you the actual price.
Ordered online. Item never arrived. Tracking number shows royal mail never received it. I have emailed their customer service with no reply. They have no phone number to contact. I have just lost the money and there doesn't seem to be anything In can do about it. I placed the order over a month ago and paid for it to arrive in two days.

It's quite a tiny place and so the selection is rather small compared to the online offer. But at least you can try their clothes on and see what size is suitable for you, and then order it online for a free collection in the shop. I find that I needed to buy a larger size than I would normally go for, so if you're for example a 10, try 12...

Gosh the girl who works in there with the dark hair needs to get another job , like seriously she doesn't even let the customers to touch the clothes rails. She stood next to people and straight away start to tidy up , make customer feel uncomfortable, like give us space.. and she has he'll of a attitude 🙄 she doesn't know any customer service whatsoever

They do have some really nice clothes here for the larger lady, however!! When trying on bras it is becoming increasingly awkward, they always seem to place the alarm tag right in the clasps in the back, not good. Also, I know for some its ok, but to have bras with the straps held on with hooks, not good when you have very big lulas, the hooks seem to pop out of the loops, much prefer sewn in straps as they are stronger to keep the girls where they need to be
Been shopping here for a while now. Brand speaks for itself but the staff in here are really good especially Mica (apologies if the spelling is incorrect) very professional, knowledgeable and a really cool young lady although when she and my wife get together costs me a fortune lol. Well worth a visit!

Love the style of the clothes and the smell of the shop bit the sizes are shockingly terrible that's why I'm giving it a 3* some size 6 trousers fit me and some 12s are too tight. There is no sense in that at all. I'm usually an 8 so it isn't ideal to order online or buy any trousers without trying them on first.

I had never been to Quiz before. I LOVED it! I thought there was a great selection of items there from casual items to prom dresses. I wanted a jumpsuit and there were plenty to choose from and they were all beautiful. I ended up getting 2 and bagged a fascinator. Everyone told me how lovely they thought I looked. I thought the tailoring and cut of the clothes was amazing. I commented to people that it was like the clothes were cut just for me. I also thought the prices were reasonable. I will definitely be shopping there again. I am so glad I found this shop!!!!!!!!!! 😍👌❤
For a company that specifically caters for plus size women it's disappointing to find that their shop in St. David's Centre, Cardiff is so tightly packed it's restrictive and frustrating.
There are lots of great colour combinations that mm ran you can get some great ideas.

This shop is well laid out with friendly staff and we'll priced clothing, especially if u can find some good stuff on the sale, I got this jumper in the sale and love it, however, I had to rush in the store, I couldn't stay in there for more than a few minutes because they must use some sort of air freshener which makes it unbearable to be in there, I have athsma which spurred coughing fits when entering the sho

I had a wonderful shopping experience there. Staffs were very friendly. One of them offered us some drink, while another one prepared the clothes for my husband to try. They were very patient. They made us feel very welcoming.

Lovely helpful staff. Great bargains. Bought a lot of gifts here at really affordable prices. I would definitely recommend this shop to all my friends. They have a wide selection of clothes and products. Make a point to stop off at Matalan when shopping on Queens street.

Lovely selection of amazing cakes. But sat down in there for 10 minutes and nobody came to serve us. When I asked we were told we had to go to the counter so we left. When we visited before we had someone take our order at our table. So can be very confusing. We went to the Queen st shop.

I visited this store on 12 February 2018. The shop is very well presented and welcoming. My wife is a plus size but had never been to a Yours Clothing store before. Vicky (the manager) was extremely helpful in providing my wife with assistance when selecting a couple of outfits.

Crew seems to me to be a slightly more preppy take on clothes to Fat Face next door, have found a really awesome jacket here before. Look up when in store and there is a whole boat race style boat above you, weird but cool.
