The Museum of Historic Annapolis is the perfect example of a history day trip. A scenic short walk from public parking, you can experience the tour in under an hour grab lunch and walk to your next destination with ease while admiring how the city has fit the culture of the present into the framework of the past. No mummies or dinosaurs, just pieces of the history of the United States, Maryland and a blended port City in well-displayed showcase.

Great place. I learned a lot about the rich history of Annapolis!
This is just walking through rooms reading history on plaques. Not much else to see here. Severe lack of old aerials or photographs. Learning the history of this city is best found on YouTube for free. This was not worth the time or the fee.
This was a simple historical introduction to Annapolis, a remarkably historic town. Knowedgable, not overbearing docent available on this self guided tour. Nice views of historical Annapolos. Clean restrooms.
We enjoyed visiting. The into video was great. Well laid out on multiple floors. My favorite? The creeky wooden steps going from floor to floor. Reminded me of younger days.
Unique lighthouse. Worth the boat ride.
Incredibly rich, and detailed history of Annapolis in excellent, modern/multimedia displays
A well designed guide through the history and lesser-known history of Annapolis. Rafael was very passionate and informative. Thanks for a great tour!
Great Historical Information I highly suggest stopping in and taking the self guided tour.
So beautiful ! . . . Reminder of by-gone days of tranquility.
Obviously need a boat ride (or helo) to get there ⛵ . . . no Uber/Lift ! Also, just outside the DCA 30-mile radius 'no-fly' zone.
I havent been there actually. But the view from our ship when we are in anchorage was incredible.
This is a must see tour! It is amazing to see how tough it was to live on a lighthouse!
Amazing and so fun with our family!
This is my second time taking the lighthouse tour and it was fun from beginning to end! It's amazing that such a structure is still standing to this day and I have to give a shout out to the captain and crew for being professionals, informative and all around fun to be around. A must witness experience for anyone who wants to go do something out of the ordinary. Plan on going again!
Not just an old lighthouse, I grew up seeing the light and home nearly every day. Annapolis, Md.is my hometown.
We sailed by there in the fall on a beautiful day. There were many fishing boats hanging out near the shoals looking for a big strike. If you have a chance, take the tour to the lighthouse....you won’t be sorry.
