Warning: It has only 5 animal models and a tiny stand for rocks.. thats it. The taxidermied animals were pretty cool.. but the only other things there were a stand for cool looking rocks, a white polar bear figure and a komodo dragon figure. I would call this more of a hallway of natural history. Anyways the staff was pretty nice. I only recomend going if REALLY have nothing to do.
Went with my son’s special education class for a field trip the tour guide was rude and didn’t let the children stop for a break when they were overstimulated. There was also a few things I did not agree with. They showed the children things like talc and put some on a child’s face. Recent studies have shown that talc contains cancer causing asbestos. They had my son come up and guess what body part of the fossil was inside and rubbed it on his face, then told him it was poop. I felt it was disrespectful. Then to show an experiment they placed the pointy parts of nails on kids hands to show magnitude. This place is a lawsuit waiting to happen. This place is not ADA compliant. They kept yelling at the kids and had no patience. There was a man working there at the gift shop that yelled at the kids who were tired sitting down to “get up pick up your toys, don’t open them till you get home” We are how they make money and it took a lot of work fundraising to get here I am very disappointed and will not be returning.
This place is in-your-face amazing, there are no gimmicks or fancy amenities, but it's what makes it so unique.
The bathrooms were SO clean and very well maintained, cleaner than your average chain restaurant.

Awesome museum! Super friendly people. Love the exhibits up close and free to touch most of them. Hands-on experience on may exhibits. Super Awesome flight simulators are free to use. Bring your good walking shoes. You'll need them outside for their extensive collections of well maintained military aircrafts. If you don't feel like walking, that's okay. They offer a guided tour where they do all the driving and will stop at every aircraft and give you an excellent description of every aircraft.

Great place for all ages. Cool mix between dinosaur/fossils and cacti/plant life. Could use a refresh on the "Sensory garden" but looked like they were still getting ready for the new season.
Great day for a museum and a hike with the wife and daughter...if you're up to it. This little gem of a museum is tucked up on a hill off the 60 freeway in Jurupa Valley. Family friends, lots to learn and classes available. Live animals and a look into the past. Our Jurassic past. So make a day of it and enjoy all this place has to offer.
The grounds are beautiful and so many things to see. Perfect trip for any age. I took my toddler here and we had a blast exploring all this area had to see. As a dinosaur lover the statues and fossils were a real treat. On a side note the staff was wonderful also.
So much amazing history not just inside but outside as well - the victory wall is amazing the love to our military and country is evident and beautiful in so many ways

I’m impressed with the amount of aircraft that are on display. The docents are so willing to share their knowledge and sometimes experience in the exhibition. I recommend you a lot time to see the vast amount of aircraft on display.
Stopped by the Museum on our way from Joshua tree to San Diego. My kids had a wonderful time doing a scavenger hunt for critters inside the museum/hangar. It was wonderful to see retired aircraft’s and learn about their history. Bring your kids along and have a blast…highly recommended!!
The workers are very nice, very friendly, professional and above all they answer all your questions about the place. In fact, I think most of them have been working there for a long time because they know a lot about it. There are two areas. The inside area is history and The outside area has all the airplanes you can imagine. I really loved the museum.
Family friendly, small yet varied natural settings and displays. Hours vary.
Outstanding museum, if you like airplanes or want to learn more. The mini bus ride around almost every plane is a must do (about 45 minutes). The military radio history is pretty good also. The people that work there are mostly volunteers and really enjoy what they do and are very knowledgeable. This place is a great tribute to those who served. Real glad we went.

The March Field Air Museum is a great air museum with a vast and interesting collection of aircraft and other items. Highly recommend visiting if in the area, and the numerous planes outside the museum are a great sight to see.
It says it’s open Saturday 2-5pm Saturday , well I came here with my 4 year old son , looks like it’s only open every other Saturday.. google maps doesn’t have that Info .
March Field Air Museum is one of the larger museums that I have visited. There are quite a few.modern warbirds. Sadly most are in terrible condition. The paint is peeling, wind screens are cloudy and many have flat tires. I would rather see preservative plastic on the glass than what I saw. When you can see the cockpits, they are in a decaying state.
It would be wonderful if someone could clean up the interiors.
Not a lot of prop driven planes, mostly jets.
I did enjoy watching KC-135's doing touch and goes. Plus a pair of F-16s took off, that fun watching.

Having been to a bunch of aviation museums, including Dayton AFB, the USS Intrepid, and the Smithsonian, I would put this up there as one of the best.
They're very well stocked with tons of cool aircraft, and the staff is really enthusiastic. Plus they're right next to an active airfield with F-35, F-16, F-18, and Predators. I wish I had more time and will definitely be going back next time I'm in the area.

March Field Air Museum was absolutely fantastic. Generally admission is $15 but Veterans get a discount. They have a gorgeous SR-71 inside with the canopy open so you can get a look inside the cockpit. Totally awesome. The flight line outside has a wonderful collection of aircraft from many decades of service. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and a joy to talk with while visiting the museum.
March Field Air Museum was a fantastic surprise for me, as I just happened to be in the area for business. They have several dozen classic military aircraft on display, and many in the process of being restored - I actually got to see a technician working on an F-4 Phantom as well as an F-86. Any military aviation enthusiast will love this facility. It’s a little more rough around the edges than more major air museums, but I loved that about it. You can tell the museum is a passion project for those involved.
After years of driving by when I head to Riverside occasionally, I finally stopped by today. Was a neat place to walk around and look at. Little nature garden trail to take a stroll on and look at dinosaur sculptures. There's also a turtle pond. Some areas are closed off and are only acceptable with a tour guide on a tour. I really liked the museum which had all sorts of rocks and fossils. The gift shop was cool too. They also had reptiles and insects there too. Entrance fee is ten bucks and if you buy stuff over $40 they reimburse you the ten dollars. Saw a BBQ stand too. Didn't try, but it looked and smelled good.

We paid for the Rock Collecting with the Dinosaurs tour, which gave us the opportunity to explore more of the property as part of a guided tour. We saw lots of massive dinosaur-inspired sculptures as we walked by and up close. At the top of the mountain, we also got a chance to dig in a rocky area for gems (treasure hunting). It was mostly small specimens, but a fun experience for the kids.

The World Museum of Natural History contains outstanding systematic displays of amphibians, birds, mammals and reptiles. Specimens prepared by sculpture and freeze-dry taxidermy are displayed in a lifelike manner.
Also on display is one of the world's largest and finest collections of mineral spheres. Rounding out the displays are gems and minerals, fluorescent minerals, meteorites and tektites, petrified wood, shells, American Indian artifacts, and contemplative stones (Suiseki).

This is a lovely oasis of calm, where one can contemplate God’s creation and the beauty of nature. It may be small compared to Natural History museums in big cities, but it is powerful in its message. Having loved science my whole life, I can sense the respect and reverence put into this museum and its exhibits. This is the perfect place to bring your children or grandchildren. The taxidermy alone is incredible and the specimens come from all over the world. My favorite exhibit was the mineral spheres. These were not mass produced for gift shops. These were lovingly, meticulously, and individually made by one man, as a hobby he enjoyed. My husband, daughter, and I really enjoyed our afternoon here. Go see it!
This is a perfect place to go with kids. So many animal specimens and minerals. It’s totally indoor with ac, so perfect choice during hot days. The staff is super nice. We met Alejandrina, she is beautiful, enthusiastic and patient!!! We plan to go next Saturday again! Oh, and it’s free!
Thrilled and honored to have personally been invited for a private tour with world renown curator Dr Billy Hankins, who is also an excellent dermatologist and wonderful professor. I did not know anything about taxidermy until I came, and I left with an amazing breadth of education about this field
Small but packed with interesting specimens of preserved animals, rocks and minerals, fossils, and a few native peoples' objects. Don't miss the fluorescent mineral display in the back corner. Open only on Saturday from 2-5 pm. Access campus through front entrance gate. Guard at gate can provide campus map and directions.
