Our very first time walking in the area of historic downtown Frankfurt. Wow so beautiful. So many eclectic old buildings to look at. Many restaurants snagged in between the older buildings. There is also a brewery a wine tasting area and a popcorn candy shop. There are also a few cup of Joe coffee places to hang out in. The center park is so nice so glad that we stopped. What a peaceful place to sit and have a nice Saturday afternoon.
My great niece is having a wedding over there very nice building very nice set-up would definitely recommend it for a party or wedding
Didn't get to go in because it was closed. It was just ok, but not worth the 30 minute drive there.

I highly recommend hosting an event at Berry Hill Mansion. I planned a wedding there this past summer and the venue coordinator Dalaina was an absolute joy to work with and went beyond to help ensure everything was ready for the wedding!
It’s a beautiful home therefore, you do not need a lot of decorations for an event or wedding. The blue wall entranced and staircase are perfect backdrops for a wedding. The wedding flowed really well at Berry Hill Mansion with an outdoor backyard ceremony, cocktail hour on the back porch and the reception and dinner held in the music room. The music room is enchanting and has a balcony where we had musicals play throughout dinner. I look forward to working another event at Berry Hill Mansion again soon!

We attended a wedding rehearsal dinner at Berry Hill Mansion and it was beautiful. The grounds are lush and green. There is a lot of history in the mansion. If you enjoy history and antiques, I recommend a visit. It is a spectacular place to book an event.
Great venue and historic home in Frankfort.

I attended a wedding there and it was gorgeous. The theme was Christmas and the site provided poinsettias and decorations. The manager was amazing and attentive. The whole site is beautiful with a gazebo setting and another wooden arch for outdoor weddings too.
Went here for a birthday party. Very nice setting .. wanted to know more about the history...so I'll make a special trip back.

Beautifully crafted building and especially the organ room with gorgeous nature surroundings. Definitely the perfect place for an outdoor wedding.
I attended an event that was held on the Capitol grounds for a photo op. The location was easy to get to and finding parking wasn't a problem. But I was a little disappointed that there were no restroom facilities available that day.
Took the tour and we loved it. Our guide was so nice and very informative. Learned several things about Kentucky history.
Great place to watch July 4th fireworks.
Loved the grounds, and the building was amazing
Wonderful town in the South suburbs of Chicago. Charming town Frankfort has much history. Fun to visit all four seasons.
Very beautiful place it is the oldest government-operated building the United States still to this day
This is an excellent place to learn about our state history. You can visit the House and Senate Chambers, when they are not in session. You can watch quietly from the overlook when they are in session.
Check out the collection of first lady dolls!
Beautiful capital building, the architecture on the inside is incredible definitely worth a visit and most of the time the public is allowed to tour for free
Beautiful grounds are well manicured and taken care of. Such great photo opportunities for prom or engagement pictures. Tours are available during business hours.
Nephew got married here! Hector
We enjoyed ourselves at a beautiful wedding!!
So interesting. Curator was knowledgeable and friendly.
Very cool place had a great time
What a cute little museum. The lady at the front desk was so helpful and informative. I learned how Frankfort got its name & how the area has changed over the years. There was many different artifacts and historic information!!
Lovely venue for an outdoor wedding and reception. Depending on the size of the guest list, it might be on the small side, especially if it rained and the ceremony had to be moved inside. Both my sister and cousin got married here and it is lovely.
