This was a fun, interesting, and educational museum experience. It was far less polished than most educational museums with misspellings and typos on documentation and some exhibits either over or vastly under explained.

That being said, it has an extensive collection that's presented in a fun and educational way.

It's a narrow group of people that will find this museum truly enjoyable. Those seeking a more 'adult' themed entertainment venue might be disappointed by it's educational quality. Those desiring a more educational venue might be disappointed by it's less than stellar presentation. And many people will simply be off put by it's material and it's setting as it's next door and nearby to several gentleman's clubs.

If you've read this far into a review, however, you're likely to enjoy what the Erotic Heritage Museum has to offer. We spent several hours perusing the exhibits and were happy and satisfied when we left.
The museum held an impressive collection of various artifacts which I really appreciated. That being said, I think if you are someone super interested in the topic, some stuff is pretty basic (i.e. “what’s Asexuality?”) but it also has many other interesting pieces of history. My main critique is that the layout can be confusing, not sure where to go first or where one section starts and another begins. Some typos and repetitive information (the same explanation for what a peep show/box like three times), some things under-explained (like vintage art with erotic themes, no translation for titles or additional information posted nearby), also a couple “in progress” exhibits so unfinished feeling. I spent a couple of hours there and read mostly everything available. Overall, I do think this place is very valuable and a great stop for any museum fan in Las Vegas, just could use a little fine tuning.

Excellent place to see. Grant gave us a complete and thorough tour. He's full of information about the Las Vegas entertainment industry and history. This is one of a kind place that's well worth seeing. Plan on spending 2.5 to 3 hours listening and talking with Grant.
This tour is an absolute must if you appreciate old school Vegas, costumes, and show girls! Grant is a wealth of knowledge, a talented designer and restorer, and his collection is amazing. We feel so grateful to have spent the day with him here.
This tour is an incredible perspective on the history and art of Las Vegas costumery. I hope that the exhibits someday gain a permanent public exhibit home, it would be a wonderful addition to the
Museums of the area.
This museum screams Las Vegas! So many costumes and decor your eyes never run out of things to look at! The history of showgirls is well depicted by it's curator......a must see experience!!! Highly recommend for tourists and locals both 😊

Fascinating. Unfortunately, we had a small child with us who got bored less than halfway through, so we left. We will absolutely go back, without children, to enjoy the whole experience. Plan on at least 3 hours if you go. Parking was $8, so plan on that as well. They do have an audio tour device for $5, will try that when we go back as well

Super great experience. I wish I was told in advance, at the box office, that there was an event going on and a section would be closed off. It affected things I didn't get to see and some people made it feel uncomfortable trying to read the walls in the bar area. I was in town, only for a little while and I would have given it 5stars otherwise.
Really great history, helps understand some older movie references and things.

If it was possible to give this place 10 stars I would. There is something for every age group and so much to see and do. If you are local please get down here ASAP. If you are not, please look up on line for hours and directions. Make this part of your must-dos when you are in Vegas. There is a cafe on premises but you can bring in waters and snacks. There is educational programing, hands on activities, live animals, dinosaur bones, videos, gift shop and seasonal displays that you won't want to miss!

Thought it would just be okay, turned out to be fantastic. I would recommend, quite interesting history, and done in a really interesting way. There are things to read, little movies, artifacts, etc. you can rent the audio tour for $5, we did not and we're still there 3 hours without staying to have a drink on the speakeasy.

It seemed like a cool place, but I wish I'd gone on a day when it wasn't full of field trippers. The throngs of kids put a damper on enjoying the day. I would visit again if there was a way to know that it wouldn't be overrun with kids.
Staff was very friendly. We got there at 10:30 am and it was already quite busy so be aware of that. 3 floors of winding exhibit so there is a lot to see and take in. There are lots of photographs, video, and artifacts from the time period. It was a fun experience. The speak easy was nice and the staff there were very friendly and service was excellent.

What an incredible learning experience. The staff is extremely passionate and knowledgeable about their specific area with complete timelines.

The amount of artifacts contained in this museum is simply astounding. The details that is presented with each artifact is unlike anything I have ever seen.

I highly recommend including the audio as part of your tour. Allow a minimum of 3 plus hours to take advantage of what they have to offer

I highly recommend visiting this museum.

This was on our list of places to visit. You definitely need to go here. This museum is very well put together and very informative. You will need a minimum of 2 hours to see everything. There is a nice gift shop as you get to the end. The staff was wonderful and they really enhanced the self guided tour. There is an elevator of you need assistance. Don't miss this place!!!

literally horrible 😭 ... it cost over $80 for 5 of us (18 each) and it's just a light show with flashing lights in one room... i can't believe this was so expensive... even $5 is a rip off LOL don't go
I thought it was cool, especially for a big fan. The gift shop part opens at 11. But the exhibit doesn't start until 11:30. Waiting not recommended with kids, go after 11:30. Cool displays of the marvel costumes. Weird that only 1 guy was working the whole exhibit and kept jumping to each part to keep up. Multiple people should be working it. Could be a little scary for very young children just because of it being kinda dark and loud in the exhibit. Over priced though, $55 for adults and $45 for children.

The museum experience is very enlightening and quite in depth. Definitely plan on at least 2 to 4 hours to go through most of it. Quite a bit of reading but also lots of photographs and display as well. You absolutely must go to the speakeasy and try one of their prohibition era cocktails. Decent little food selection as well. Bartenders are all dressed and quite capable.
What a great way to spend some time in Vegas! I loved that this place was really diverse and inclusive in the representation of human sexuality. There's a ton to read and see, so definitely plan to stay for a couple hours to ensure you don't feel rushed. I strongly suggest approaching this place with a sense of curiosity and an open mind. The show presented was hilarious as well and totally worth seeing.

Because my twin and I are from the city of Chicago, we decided to checkout this museum. Certainly, not a disappointed. Lots of interesting information from the begining of the mobster era until the downfall. However, I'm sure it still exists but not as obvious as before. Yes, you will learn a lot of how it came to Las Vegas but other parts of the country as well. Be forewarned that there a lot of gruesome images that are not for your little ones. Frankly, I wouldn't be my kids unless they are in their teens but even then I wouldn't want them to be influenced. Also, if you ask, they will tell you it takes a few hours, but I believe if you wanted to read everything and see everything, it would take half a day.
Also, if you are military or a student, be sure to use to get a nice discount. It's a $30 ticket for general admission. There is also a speak easy where you can drink and have a meal. Pretty cool!
OVERALL: Be sure to check out while in Vegas

Misrepresentation of product. Paid $72 (4ppl) and watched flashing lights in room with mirrors. Where's the museum aspect? I can do the same effect in my house.

Please don't justify this as art and insult my intelligence. Museums don't charge $72.

Save your precious hard earned money folks.
We love the Springs Preserve. We usually go for Haunted Harvest and missed out this year. Our homeschool group planned a meet up to visit the Butterfly Habitat so I was prompted to investigate the establishment more. After thoroughly researching the website, we decided to purchase the membership.
We took all day to explore the entire Springs Preserve and were overwhelmed with the educational and interactive exhibits! I was more than blown away with all the options. We were there til closing and still didn't get thru everything. I'm so grateful to be able to add this spot to our reservoir of activities. The staff was just as impressive, thank you for making our visit wonderful!
Really loved seeing and hearing about the history of Vegas through the iconic signs that once were. The guided tour at night was awesome, and really informational. Highly recommend as an off the strip, downtown, or local “thing to do”. It’s well worth it.
This museum was our favorite part of our Vegas trip in October. We had the best time with Grant the owner. His collection, knowledge and anecdotes were amazing! We were there for three hours and can't wait to go back. My girlfriends want to take a trip to Vegas just to meet Grant and see his gorgeous collection.
Absolutely love bringing clients here! It's the perfect place for a wedding or engagement photos. Can't wait to be back here with future clients - such a cool place that is gorgeous to photograph.
It was a fun experience if your a real marvel fan. The Costumer service was really good. There wasn't a ton to see but what there was, was fun to see. Theres interactive bits that are fairly decent. Over all it's worth it. But it's a one and done kinda of attraction.

Definitely take it with you when you are in Vegas. Lots of cool signs from days gone by. It's particularly worthwhile at when it's dark. A few old signs can even still light up. There are fixed times for the visit. But we weren't thrown out when our slot was over. You need a maximum of one hour to see everything.

Took my husband here for the first time to do something local and we both loved it, it’s actually pretty big which the outside doesn’t look like it but it’s a big property with so many different areas. We were there all day and it was really fun. Our favorite part was the butterfly garden it was so beautiful and peaceful and just unexplainable. I definitely recommend it is a lot of walking but so worth it.

The Mob Museum was such a great experience. You can tell the Goodmans really worked hard to make this as informative and interactive as it was! So cool to learn about Las Vegas roots, and if you’re a fan of learning about organized crime, this is the place for you!

They also have an underground Speakeasy, which you have to have the password for (they give you hints on their Facebook page) but once in, it’s like you’re in a movie. It’s a real speakeasy! Over all a super fun experience!
Our second visit to the Neon Museum included the guided night time tour and the Brilliant experience, both of which were amazing.
Highly recommended purchasing tickets online, well before your visit as these tours seem to fill up quickly.
Guided tour includes history of the signage, some tales of Vegas characters, and overall stories of what has made Vegas what it is today.
This family friendly experience is a must see when visiting town or even if you’re local. So go be mesmerized!

If you watch the First 48 or any other crime show you will love this place. They have gone above and beyond to put as much detail as possible about Mobs, Organized Crime, and even more. Pictures, videos, guns, replicas, and the actual St Valentine Day massacre bricks from the warehouse. Give yourself plenty of time to enjoy it all. Be sure to buy tickets in advance. I got the audio tour and it was worth it. I would go again. Worth the price. Good staff, very helpful and knowledgeable. Very clean facilty.

Very cool experience with my family visiting from out of town! Highly recommend this museum. It was probably our favorite part of Area15. Kid friendly as well!
We didn't get to see it all since my shoe broke. There was so much to explore/see/learn. Neat playground nook. Informative signs and staff. Train ride was fun! Don't miss the butterfly exhibit if it's open. They had Halloween decorations up everywhere which was cool. The app is worth downloading - it's free and you can get directions to each attraction.

Very interesting and informative experience. I need to go back and spend about 3x as much time there, an hour and a half wasn't enough to digest everything properly if you want to study and understand. It should be enough time for a quick walkthrough. The speakeasy sounded fun, but didn't have time to visit. The staff were very helpful and welcoming. Great visit!
When you come to Vegas you gotta stop here. So many cool things to see and so many places to take pictures. It was a great experience with our son. I think his favorite part will be the gift shop but who's isn't..lol I definitely recommend stopping by.

Springs Preserve is a true oasis in the heart of Las Vegas, offering a unique blend of history, nature, and culture. As a visitor, I was thoroughly impressed by its diverse attractions.

The botanical gardens were a highlight, showcasing the vibrant flora of the Mojave Desert. Walking through the cactus gardens and lush landscapes was both educational and serene. The Butterfly Habitat was particularly enchanting, providing a chance to observe these delicate creatures up close.

The interactive exhibits at the Origen Museum offered fascinating insights into the history of the region, from its ancient geological formations to its more recent human history. It's an educational experience that's both engaging and informative.

The sustainability focus at Springs Preserve is commendable, and it's inspiring to see how they prioritize eco-friendly practices and promote environmental awareness. The Desert Living Center is a testament to this commitment, featuring eco-friendly architecture and sustainable living demonstrations.

For families, the playgrounds and outdoor play areas provide a fun and educational experience for children. The train ride around the preserve is also a hit with the little ones.

Overall, Springs Preserve is a must-visit for anyone in or passing through Las Vegas. It offers a refreshing break from the city's hustle and bustle while providing a deeper understanding of the unique ecosystem of the Mojave Desert. Whether you're a nature enthusiast, history buff, or simply seeking a peaceful retreat, Springs Preserve has something to offer everyone.
It was fantastic and nostalgic! The museum is remodeling the exhibits and they're so family friendly! Loved every second, the staff were so nice and friendly and it just feels like a warm nostalgic hug! My husband hadn't been there in 20 years and he was just thrilled to see everything standing and revamped! Being your kiddies or bring your adult self! Entry is very affordable and the gift shop is adorable!

Must visit this spectacular place! Just an amazing place for all! Families, Friends. Very reasonable prices with verity of different things to do. From a Butterfly Habitat, to Lots of activities like train ride to Moon town, Moon Town takes you back 110 years to Nevada of 1910 with a lot of replicated artifacts. Goes to the Atomic Museum and many more great places. This is a place that I will sure go back again with the Family for a full attraction day.
Springs Reserve is a hidden gem amidst the glitz and glamour of Las Vegas. Just a short drive away from the bustling Strip, this oasis offers a refreshing escape for both locals and tourists alike. The botanical garden is a serene haven, beautifully maintained and showcasing a myriad of plant species. The Nevada State Museum, housed within the reserve, provides a deep dive into the state's rich history and culture.

One of the standout features for me was the educational garden. It's not every day you get to see a diverse range of fruits and vegetables flourishing in the desert! The knowledgeable staff were more than eager to share insights and answer any questions, making the experience both fun and informative.

And if you're feeling peckish after all the exploration, the on-site restaurant offers a delightful culinary experience. It's the perfect spot to relax and refuel before diving back into the exhibits.

In a city known for its entertainment and nightlife, Springs Reserve stands out as a unique and enriching experience. It's easily one of my top recommendations for anyone visiting Las Vegas. Whether you're a nature enthusiast, history buff, or just looking for a peaceful retreat, Springs Reserve has something for everyone.

Actually I wanted to see the Africa one, but it wasn't on during our stay in Vegas, so we saw the space. Which was really good! The film surrounds you, it's on all the walls and the floor. The introduction was great too! I definitely want to see the Safari when I have the chance to!
Such a cool Las Vegas gem! We did a guided tour at night to celebrate my hubby's birthday.

The guide was awesome and had really great tidbits. The exhibit ticked off a lot of check boxes for me - walking around, cool stuff to look at, picture opps, history and education.

Make sure to make a reservation in advance, check for available discounts (local / military/ kids / etc.), and give yourself 15 minutes for parking and check in!

Note* They have special reservations for non phone cameras, portrait hours, etc. So plan on using your phone!
It is a good but small exhibit. If you skip the photo and the kiddies game at the end, it will only take around 20 mins to finish. Find a coupon and the admission costs $39 for adults. Still kind of expensive. Taking a star off for the price. $20 -$25 probably more reasonable for what it is.
We went on the safari tour and it was super cool seeing all the animals and cool backgrounds. Time went fast but it last about 45 mins. I’ve never done anything like this so it was our first time. For first timers it was very entertaining. I will be back to see the space show!!
The experience is worth it, everything is well organized, if you book in advance it is much better, they have many unique pieces. Beautiful and everything is super nice, the staff is super polite and attentive. There are of course many neon signs that I didn't know about, but they teach you the history of all of them, it's very good. I would like them to make all the signs work and for the place to be closed and with air conditioning... that would be my only concern.
Grant’s Las Vegas Showgirl Museum is a must see when you are in town. He has an incredible collection of costumes from shows, movies, TV, and more. Bob Mackie Originals you can look at up close without glass obstructing your view. Grant is a master designer and costume restorer and has a fascinating story for every item in his collection. It is clear he is passionate about saving costume masterpieces from destruction and preserving history so we can continue to learn from vintage costume production today. We spent two and a half hours touring the museum and we need to go back another time to truly see everything. Definitely a unforgettable experience. Thank you Grant! We will be back again!

I have been to Vegas twice before this visit, and no one wanted to come here with me. I am so glad that I was able to come. This place is full of history. The videos, clips, and stories are so interesting. A must visit place
We attended the Illuminarium on Sunday evening for the 930pm showing of SPACE. The check in process was so simple. Since we already had digital tickets we were scanned in and only had to 2 for 2 minutes to be let into the first room.

The experience in the first room was amazing and our guide was fun to interact with. We enjoyed watching the rockets "blast off" and felt immersed in the process of take off.

Once we entered the larger main room we saw the "horoscopes" constellations portion of the show. They were amazing to see, and fun to read all of the descriptions.

By far our favourite portion was the Moon Landing show with the astronauts and moon rovers driving all over the surface of the moon. We stay for almost 2 cycles of all of the segments and enjoyed ourselves! The property was clen, and well maintained, the staff was friendly and helpful and we overall had an amazing experience at Illuminarium.

Finally made it to the Springs Preserve on September 1st and you can easily spend almost half a day there. you can learn about the early history of Las Vegas at Boomtown as well as learning the natural and human history of the area and Nevada. On the day I went the trails were closed due to flooding from the monsoon storms that day but they had a transportation between Boomtown and the main area of the preserve. One of the interesting features was the flash flood demonstration where you stand on a platform and have 50,000 gallons of water that will surround you. Let’s just say there will be a bit of a splash zone. They also have a temporary exhibition in the Nevada State Museum honoring Liberace as of this review. Overall, this is a great outing for families.

Went in with friends, Nevada residents get a discount! We went with premier for the experience and WOW was it worth while! We started with the speak easy that turned out to be the wrong idea- as theirs a secret knock to learn to get in the back door 😉 the fire arms bit was extremely fun and interactive for anyone wishing to try it. And the distillery tour gets you "buzzed" and ready for the rest of the walk for the 4 floors of history and fun. Anyone in the family will surely have fun coming here, that's a promise!!
Such a magical experience! If you're making a trip out to Vegas I would highly recommend.
We took an evening guided tour and our guide was so knowledgeable. The proceeds from the ticket sales go towards restoration of old neon signs, and help keep the museum going. Amazing photo opportunities and such a great way to learn about the history of Vegas. ✨
Described as a self walking exhibit, I found many points just chaotic. The phrase "fill all available space" was used more than once even though the group I was put with was already larger than the available space. When you get into the exhibit itself the costumes, props, and attention to detail are amazing. Like most things in VEGAS the hotels signs can lead to know where. TIP when you feel you went the wrong way. TAKE the escalator upstairs. If your looking for unique one of a kind souvenirs you will NOT find them here. Outside of the commemorative photos I only saw a white woman's sweatshirt and some glasses that actually said AVENGERS S.T.A.T.I.O.N on it. Everything else was generic toys, clothing, and jewelry you can find anywhere. This is a great experience if you can find a BOGO offer and really take your time to enjoy it at your own pace.
Loved this museum💕. Don't let the entrance scare you off. Very clean inside. If you love history, 100% recommend this museum.

This museum is a true testament to the power of art and history. The exhibits were beautifully curated, capturing the essence of each subject with creativity and precision. The museum's commitment to fostering appreciation for culture was evident in the immersive displays and informative signage. The staff's knowledge and friendly approach created an inviting atmosphere that encouraged exploration. Whether you're an art aficionado or simply curious, this museum offers a memorable and enriching experience that lingers long after the visit.
It's a good experience, and you get to see a lot of great exhibits. However, it does not take long to see everything on display that is the only downside. It does have some cool interactive features, though.
The space show is absolutely magnificent, breathtaking, and mesmerizing. I sat through it for 3 rotations, which are 45 minutes in a loop. I loved the visuals and the sounds. The staff was great. I did 9 attractions in Vegas with my Go City pass and this was by far my favorite one. I highly recommend this for anyone who enjoys checking out the night's sky and the amazing work NASA has accomplished.

Beautiful experience. I would definitely go back whenever I am in vegas and hope they open locations in California.
Really do not understand why this has not got 5 star reviews.
We went to the late night Space After Dark. That is only open for 21 and over, with a bar available, and an option to buy a $10 drink with your ticket. Two rooms, one about 20 x 40 feet, where a DJ was doing his thing. The walls and floors were covered with graphics as if we were inside a space station. Pretty cool music and video.

The second room was quite a bit larger, probably nearly four times as big. It had wall-to-wall video completely surrounding the entire L-shaped room, playing a nearly 1 hour video of all sorts of cool space stuff, launches, landings, planets, moons, comets, astrology, asteroids and more. It was fun and interesting. The music was very fitting, and the sound was good. It actually became quite immersive with the floor and walls being part of the effects.

I guess I was just expecting more rooms, or other stuff. Definitely different, that's for sure. A unique experience, but not really overwhelming or super fantastic. But, it was cool and fun. It would have been a much better effect if the ceilings were done the same way.
I had a great time at this place. It's not crowded and there are a lot of exhibits. I was surprised by how much larger it seems inside, as compared to how large the building looks from the outside.
This experience was okay. I thought it was too costly for what we got. It could be more interactive it was just clothes that your favorite Marvel characters wore. So you have pics of clothing. There was the motorcycle, but that was it. Please purchase tickets on Groupon
We went to the safari exhibit, which was a visually beautiful display of wild animals. It was a pleasant experience and fun for the kids. It was a short exhibit limited to one room but we went at night so there were fewer people in the big room. Overall, I recommend experiencing this one time.
This was an absolute blast! The people who run this Museum make it a point to ensure that you have every question answered and that you can find what you are looking for. Some of the memorabilia in the shop is just amazing! I also think I found a couple of relatives LOL. Some of the video is extremely graphic therefore, this is not a place to take your children!! Lots of learning involved and it was very educational!! Very clean and we'll run!
The museum was a excellent experience! I Lear’s so much! I really loved the Egyptian part! 🐍
One of the best museums I have ever been to as of now. It seems like this amazing attraction can be easily overlooked by most in a city that already offers so much to do, but it is more than worth it to set aside ample time to explore this amazing place. This museum provides friendly staff, a huge variety of amazing exhibit, great immersion for kids and adults alike, and can entertain groups for hours. We have been here multiple times now and every time they add something new that makes the experience even better. Even the consistent exhibits are more than worth the price of admission, with the ancient Egyptian exhibit, the dinosaur exhibit, and the kids activity room being highlights within an already stellar museum. The price is also phenomenal as well, and many discounts are offered for students, educators, and others alike. This amazing natural history museum should not be missed under any circumstances.

Beautiful 😍.

I worked part of the James Webb Space Telescope graphics (JWST was worked by NASA and Northrop Grumman), so I was curious of how they were going to display and present this beautiful space tool. They did not disappoint.

The animation and USA Flag 🇺🇸 planted on the moon was cool, and the planets, belts, meteorites breaking apart, the choice of music (added to all the feels), was very well made. The biggest I was impressed with as far as graphics was the beginning in the 1st room we were guided in, which was when we were "lifting off and launched" into space, going through the layers of the atmosphere.

I'm definitely going back to see this again. Top notch and beautiful. Also a great price for about 45-1 hour of presentation time. Whoever is complaining, is ridiculous and doesn't know what they're talking about, or straight up cheapskate. Go see it, it's rad! Then go to the building next door and check out Meow Wolf.
We had a great time. A group of 6 of us went and really enjoyed the experience. Everything there is from the actual movies and it's very interactive. Lots of great photo ops and was fun for all of us, ages 15-42. My favorite by far was the Ironman section, where it displays all the suits, even the one built in a cave. Very fun, will definitely do it again when friends are in town.

Excellent museum! A ton of really exciting history of Nevada and the Las Vegas area. It’s a must see - You’re going to love this place!!
This might have been the best tour experience that I have ever had. And I've had some really good tours. Randy was incredibly knowledgeable and absolutely hilarious. The tour of flew by so fast. I couldn't believe we were done when we were. Everything. There is a real magical gem and you definitely get the feel that you're part of the Vegas experience and is history. It's a nice departure from the strip. And the gift shop has a lot of really great stuff. I can definitely understand why people have weddings and stuff here. It is really fun. Totally beautiful! We went at sunsets so we got the opportunity to watch them start lighting up and it was pretty great.

Interesting exhibits with different cultures, across time, and mainly visual (videos, reading and statues, artifacts, comics etc.).

Lacking a little of the more modern stuff and many sections need repairs.

Included in the sightseeing pass and gocity pass if interested. A little short walk from Treasure island.
Nice place to spend an hour or so. Look for online buy one get one admission free online. Variety of things for adults and kids. Nice displays.

Live animals too!

Teacher discounts available. My son and I cost $10. It was nice to get out of the heat.

Super cool and amazing history museum of the MOB. You can easily spend hours here reading and seeing everything they have. Well worth the money. To start out with you, you will need to pay for parking outside. I believe it was like $8-$10. Once inside, you will be asked if you want the basic tour $30 or the premier $48. I suggest the premier for the full experience. It gets pretty busy during the afternoon, so I will suggest going really early or late past 5 pm. There is like 3 or floors with different things to see and experience. Make sure to check out the underground speakeasy on the bottom floor and try out their unique drinks. You can also grab a bite to eat there as well. Overall it was an amazing experience. Love it all. Definitely coming back and bringing my friends to it.

This was my first time here and I was pleasantly surprised by the size and scale of this place! So many nooks and trails to explore. Inside extractions along with outdoor activities were perfectly paired. Probably not ideal for small kids as they won't understand a lot of the "why's" but could be fun for them to burn energy by running around. Tons of shade on warm days like today. I highly recommend this Vegas gem!
It was an amazing experience that you should definitely try, while in Las vegas. We had the go city pass, so it was quite affordable. The sensory delight that this attraction offers is beyond amazing. We saw the space exploration, and it was very captivating and interactive, def give them a try. The customer service was topnotch, my check in process to redeem my go city tickets was probably the best out of all the Go city attractions.

The price is a bit steep, and you have to give yourself some time to just sit and enjoy the exhibit before it starts to click.

I recommend going when it's not busy. It's best experienced alone or without a bunch of people making noise.
It was definitely a one of a kind experience! But it's so fun! Be prepared to be shown all kinds of things there. Lots of erotic.... items, and the history behind it. The shop for souvenirs is awesome. I got an 18inch d*ck pillow.... I LOVE it!!! Highly recommend to go see it at least once!
This is a cool museum that is a lot bigger once you enter than it looks from the parking lot! It’s a good place to visit with kids or if you want to get away from all the traffic from the Strip. It’s also pretty cheap, and they have good discounts for seniors, students, etc. The Egyptian exhibit is my favorite!
OMG OMG OMG. That’s all I gotta say. This is the absolute BEST and most NOT TO MISS museum in Vegas. Yes I know there’s the mob museum but this showgirl museum is even better. They got a million dollar dress in there as well as showgirl costumes from the original showgirl shows in Las Vegas including Jubilee, Hello Hollywood, Follies Bregeire, Lido, Splash, and so much more! It’s so amazing to see! They also have a lot of donations from former famous burlesque dancers and SUPERSTARS! They have a Liza Minelli, Cher, and even a BLANK dress (she is from Supergirl.).

I used to be a showgirl and Blue Belle in the original Jubilee in Las Vegas. (Which was the best in my opinion!) Bigger and better they say! Haven’t ever seen another show even come close and that’s including Lido and Moulin Rouge in Paris. Sorry not sorry. The stage isn’t as big and there are less people. All the costumes here are amazing and definitely worth your trip to see! Hello Bob Mackie! Do not miss it! Make sure to go to the website and email and reserve tickets in advance. Absolutely love this place and the fact that it’s keeping the showgirl and more important the original amazing authentic original showgirl costumes alive! This should be your number one stop!

If they had a bigger space and restaurant/bar beside it they could have champagne girls and maybe a photo op with showgirls. Just a suggestion. Could be huge!

Love this whole display. For the NEW generation that see; for when they open up a big museum would be great to have whoever is featured (in the photo frames now) a little history and what they brought to the showgirl world or actress / burlesque world. A lot of people who are not in that industry probably have no clue and would be cool to see like a history plaque beside each one, where is the costume from, or if it was a person who wore it, what did she/he/they do, and what did they do to make that industry bigger.

This is a wonderful place and to me one of the best places to visit while in Vegas. Be sure to not miss out!
Been meaning to give this place 5 stars. I took my daughter there during Halloween and she had a good time there. The staff was friendly and helpful. Lots of historical knowledge available to fill your little ones' minds especially if they like wildlife. Great value and family time IMO!
This was a pretty interesting museum. Some of the items had well explained content and others didn’t.
I was so excited to see the world’s largest sex bike but it wasn’t available! If you are around the area make sure you stop by.

Very cool place to visit inside Area 15. The fee to enter was around $20 to enter the attraction. The description of this place could be loud music with bright lights but it is more than that. It's like some mad genius combine led lights, electronic music, infinite mirrors and you get to be in the center of this beautiful acoustical living art work. Go in with an open mind and you'll be impress. You get a wrist band so you can come as many times as want throughout the day. It's hard to beat the price of admission because this is bargain especially being in Las Vegas, Nevada. So have some fun and try it.
Pretty good collection of items. We expected it to be more comprehensive. There seemed to be quite a few topics that weren’t mentioned at all and others took up more space than they probably needed to. Some exhibits had pages of information (way too much) to read and others had almost no context. I was surprised at how many historic artifacts had “unknown” listed for dates. Even an estimated date range would have added to the exhibits. The items also seemed to be arranged somewhat randomly. I would have preferred it to be arranged in a more natural progression. Overall it was smaller than expected but has lots of potential to grow into a nice collection. Upstairs was way hotter than downstairs. Not sure if the AC was broken or just weird ventilation. Maybe a traditional museum curator could help clean up the layout and give feedback on how to build exhibits. Still glad we went.

What an incredible experience! Make sure you have an entire day so you can interact with each exhibit, there is so much to read, see & do!
This museum is one of the most amazing experiences someone could ever have. Grant Philipo is a living legend, and his collection is an absolute joy and privilege. There is so much love and care that goes into not only the restoration of gorgeous original garments and showpieces, but also the displays and info frames for each costume. Not to mention, Grant has a showgirl themed snack room stocked with treats just in case you didn't already mistake the museum for heaven. If you're a fan of theater, art, history, fashion, or design, then you absolutely positively cannot miss this amazing collection.
Light, art, sound, infinity mirrors, & you walking through the space. It is all you need. You are transported in this space. The exhibit normally runs all day long. There are 3 different lights shows to see. You are able to go back multiple times to see each. I highly recommend the experience.

This was one of the most artistic and visually impressive exhibits I have ever seen. It was like ASMR sound visualized. I felt like I was walking through obscurity. 10/10 would go again. Ignore the bad reviews, most of them are complaining about the exhibit because they went in with a medical condition that is not conducive for the experience given, or they somehow literally took this exhibit's title literally as a "Museum".

Of all they ways you can spend $20 in Vegas, give this place a go. It's a bargain for the experience you get.

Great place for the entire family. Hands on exhibits, quality displays, a huge amount of information on the history of Las Vegas, and surrounding areas. We will be joining the annual membership so we can come back often.

So many great exhibits! Their Art Gallery is always worth a visit, and I never miss the "Flash Flood" exhibit (stand up close to get splashed!) NOTE: Their front entrance is currently under construction. Look for the employee sitting by an umbrella for directions.

Today I spent time outside and learned about desert animals. (Photos attached) I LOVE SPRINGS PRESERVE AND THE ORIGEN MUSEUM. Great for kids, great for adults. Be prepared to take pictures and learn a lot about the desert (Las Vegas history, animals, plants, etc)

The black lizard / white lizard photos were taken 30 seconds apart. Mr Black Lizard is over 30°F warmer!
Made a visit today (9/5) it was perfect for me because on a Wednesday it wasn't packed. The ladies that checked us in were so nice. Lots to look at!!! I definitely learned something today... You're allowed to take photos on the 1st floor, just no flash or video. The second floor holds artifacts and amazing erotic art work ( no pictures) highly recommend if you have an open mind! 👍

Brought family from out of town for the holiday weekend and everybody loved it. Very friendly and clean environment.
I wrote a paper about this exhibit for my college class. I was so impressed with the Origen Museum. I will be returning to the whole complex next month and I hope to be a donor to the museum. Keep up the great work

A wonderful time, to be enjoyed by all! A lot to take in, make sure you allow enough time to get to see all this location has to offer!
