Fascinating to be walking in the rooms where Mozart lived, composed, played. The audio is very informative and easy to follow.
Only comment would be that although the exact layout is not known, it would be splendid to walk around the furnitures from those times, decorated in the way that suits the best to Mozart's time...

Great experience for the kids. We went to the studio with the wooden structure. The 1.5 hour passed very fast.

Ich gehe seit Jahren mit meiner Tochter in die Ausstellungen und das Atelier und wir lieben es! Die kreativen Ideen, die unterschiedlichen Themen und die gute und kindergerechte Umsetzung machen den Besuch einfach zur einem wunderbaren Erlebnis für Groß und Klein! Die Workshopleiter sind alle sehr nett und führen und begleiten die Kinder sehr professionell durch den Workshop. Meine Tochter und ich finden das Zoom Museum einfach super und kommen weiterhin sehr gerne!
We took our 6 and 8 year old grandchildren. Two hours well spent. Book in advance - we took the only remaining class for the week we were in Vienna and if we had known, we would have signed up for more sessions. The staff were great and conducted one lecture in German for the locals and one in English for everyone else. Our 8 year old had a great time but the 6 year old boy was maybe a year too young.
Its not a museum its a playground, a very nice one though. It runs by sessions according to age. My kids went to the under the sea session ( not sure about the name ) for 1 hour and they wanted to stay more. There was a submarine with buttons , steering wheel and sounds, soft slide , hidden water mattress which they really enjoy and many other hidden corners with toys and stuff to do.

Viel Show um wirklich ganz ganz wenig. Das Freispiel "Meereserlebnis" ist völlig überteuert und NICHT empfehlenswert.
A bit expensive for what it is, but never the less you get to walk where Mozart did. There is an audio guide which reveals lots of interesting things. Photos are not allowed inside, unfortunately his piano is not there. You can get a taste of what it would have been like , however the rooms are mostly empty but it’s deeper with information you can read on the walls.
Wir waren mit unserer Nichte, die selbst bei der Feuerwehrjugend ist, gerade im Museum und wurden von einem sehr kompetenten und freundlichen Feuerwehrmann durch die Ausstellung geführt, es war ein wunderschönes Erlebnis für unsere junge Besucherin aus Kärnten und ein unvergessliches für uns alle. This building is where Mozart lived while in Vienna. It is now a museum and is made up mostly of empty rooms only with some portraits and other wall displays. There is not that much to see, therefore, but the audio guide gave some interesting information about episodes in Mozart's life. It was just about worth the €10 entrance fee.
This place is more of a zoo than just an aquarium, I had a lot of fun walking around and even through some of the enclosures. There are tunnels through some of the aquariums for children to crawl through and lots of information about the animals. There are also a lot of terrestrial animals to be seen

An excellent destination for family visits. Normally everything is full of children and parents :) Be prepared to pass through several areas with tropical temperature and a huge amount of humidity, which can tire children and be suffocating... Tip - as soon as you arrive, take the elevator to the top floor, and then go down the stairs floor by floor and look around the rooms, or even use the elevator for that. Steep stairs on 11 levels can be tiring, especially for children. Here are some photos with ticket prices and a plan of the building.

Der Ozean ist wunderbar für Kinder bis 4 Jahre (obwohl es bis 6 Jahren eignen soll, aber ältere finden es nicht mehr interessant). Vieles zum Ausprobieren.

We spent a few hours with the kids and it was amazing: the aquariums, the other exhibits, the view from the top.

Very interesting and educational. Was able to tour the entire display facility with little to no effort. My host loved the clothing displays and I found the older carriages of interest. The facility was clean and neat inside and out. Interactions with the staff was swift, courteous, and informative.
Two top tips:
First, if you must go, get the audioguide - the whole place is pointless without it.
Second, do yourself a favour and don't go - even with the audioguide it is awful.
It's almost entirely copies of pictures, documents and portraits, plus a few digital "installations", beautifully presented to be fair. Much is of questionable relevance to Mozart and indeed to the saccharin audioguide. The very few artefacts dotted around are not even Mozart's. There's almost nothing to learn here, and it's not enjoyable.

Wundervolle mitmach Museum im Quartier für Kinder! Wir waren dort zur Zukunftsausstellung‘ es war ganz toll moderiert und kindgerecht wurden die Sachen erklärt und die Kinder integriert! Toll! Für Eltern und Kinder einfach eine wunderbare Zeit mit viel Wissen das vermittelt wird
The most interesting aquarium I've ever seen! Located on a former flak tower (air defense tower), on 12 floors, the vertical aquarium and zoo is both an impressive location and an engineering wonder, as you can see a shark tank on the 11th floor! There are some aquariums that stretch on three floors, as well as some zoos. Definitely a place for the children!

If you visit Vienna you should not miss this place. Especially if you come with the kids. It is an amazing place with a lot of aquariums and birds and monkeys flying and jumping around you. The building is an 11 story WW2 air defence tower which was ingeniously transformed in place of such pleasure. Magnificent idea.
Yes, it has an amazing terrace with a coffee shop on top of it. You should not miss a coffee there with the best view on Vienna.

Intresting musem of Habsburg family carriages. It is worth to see because it shows how different their lives were from the common people. There are carriages for weddings, funerals, just for one person to go around the courtyard, carriages for children.

Wundervolles Museum, perfekt für Kinder! Für jedes Alter gibt es ein maßgeschneidertes Angebot. Wir waren im Ozean für Kinder von 0-3. Es war wirklich toll zu sehen, wie unser Kleiner den Raum erkundet und da gab es wirklich vieles zum entdecken! Wir werden definitiv wieder kommen und freuen und auf die anderen Räume. Das Personal wsr auch sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ein absolutes Muss, wenn man mit Kindern in Wien ist.

Einfach ein unbeschreiblicher Ort. Mittig im Raum stehen die Schätze und Kronen der jeweiligen Personen und Herrscher. Im gleichen Raum an der Wand befindet sich eben das Gemälde, welches den Träger dieses jeweiligen Originals zeigt. Teils einige hundert Jahre alt.

A small museum worth a visit. It takes about 30-40 minutes to visit. You can read useful information on every item on display. Several years ago, when we visited the museum for the first time, the theme was Funeral Carriages. Now the center liece is Empress Elizabeth's secret dress. Enjoy the visit!
I was really surprised by how entertaining and interesting I found this sight! I had already visited the main Vienna attractions but I think the treasury was my favourite. Anyone who loves history - particularly Holy Roman Empire history - will enjoy the wonderfully narrated and extensive audioguides across so many of the exhibits. Really beautiful and unique treasures such as the crown of the holy Roman emperor, the largest cut emerald in the world and shards of the ‘true cross’ and other Catholic relics are all exhibited and described in rich detail. A must visit!

An absolute must see for those interested in Jewish history. My mother and I traveled through Austria and Poland to better understand the history of the part of the world where our family came from. This is an incredibly interesting museum and sheds light on the history of the Jewish people in Austria before WWII back to Medieval times. It's hard to imagine such things, but it is very eye opening and I think very invaluable to learning more about what life was like for Jewish people in Austria and Vienna back then. Also recommend going to Judenplatz itself to see the Holocaust memorial, can be before or after you go through the museum, but if you go before some of the information in the museum that references place markers in the plaza will make more sense.

We spent here well over 3hrs because we wanted to see and listen to all the info provided by the audio guide. We could have made it faster, but it was too interesting and we didn’t want to miss anything!

Ja die Schatkammer in der Hofburg.Es ist dort sehr dunkel wahrscheinlich um die Exponate zu schützen.Man sieht in ddn 8 -1] Räumen etliche Gewänder von Würdenträgern sowie die Österreichischen Kronjuwelen des Kaisers sowie die Lanze mit der Jesus bei seiner Kreuzigung verletzt wurde.Es war nicht überlaufen als wir dort waren und wir kamen sofort rein.Ach ja fotografieren ist hier erlaubt.
My favourite attraction in Vienna, staff so friendly, the carriages and motor cars are incredible historical attractions. The Sisi Hungarian Coronation Carriage is marvellous
Hatte mir mehr versprochen. Kein Audioguide inklusive und die ausgestellten Objekte hatten nicht viel mit dem Kaiserhaus zu tun. Eher kirchliche Objekte.
The Imperial Treasury is simply spectacular and is a must see for anyone in Vienna with even a slight interest in history. For me the highlight was the complete coronation regalia of the Holy Roman Emperor - everything from the crown to the mantle to the hose and slippers. They even had the collection of holy relics (including the supposed Spear of Destiny!) used to sanctify the coronations. But the other highlights are almost as amazing from the crown of the Austrian Emperors, the staggeringly grand ewer and basin used to baptise Habsburg infants, to a vessel for unguent carved out of a single enormous piece of emerald. Definitely book in advance - it wasn't too crowded when I went but I think this place is likely to run out of spaces in more busy times of year and you definitely don't want to miss out on this unique collection of treasures.
Kleines Feuerwehrmuseum der Berufsfeuerwehr Wien. Direkt neben der Historischen Feuerwache Am Hof. Der Eintritt ist Kostenfrei, hat jedoch derzeit nur Sonntags & Dienstags geöffnet. Dennoch lohnt sich ein Besuch. Ausserdem befindet sich dort auch kleiner Souvenirshop der Feuerwehr Wien.
Fascinating as well as educative. You can actually feel what living was like for Jews in Vienna in medieval times. The excavation of the ancient synagogue is no less than stunning.

Sophisticated scholarship presented at a pitch perfect level for the general public. Addressing daily life, historical evidence, cultural memory, not shying away from difficult and controversial topics. One of the best Jewish Museum in the Northern hemisphere: Europe and the US.
This place is really well done. It’s small but packed a huge punch. The quality of the exhibits is incredible and they even considered how to entertain kids in a museum like this.

Beautiful museum housing some incredible artwork. We visited on a workday so no que and it was not so crowded. I would recommend it, the building itself is beautiful and a work of art by itself. I saw a big line at the caffe all the time but couldn't be bothered to wait.

A detailed history of the first Jewish community set up in the Mifdle Ages that had such a sudden and tragic end. The original foundations remnants of the oldest synagogue make an incredicle impression. The story of the Judenplatz is also amazing and reflects the twisted history of Jewish-Austrian relations. A totally worth visiting site!

Liebevoll gestaltetes kleines aber feines Museum- sollte man als Feuerwehr Fan gesehen haben !
Das Dienstleisungsverständnis ist hier aus der Kreidezeit. Besucher sollen sich glücklich schätzen das Museum besuchen zu dürfen, hieß es aus arrogantem Mund. Wie bitte? Ist es nicht umgekehrt? Sollte sich nicht ein Museum über Besucher freuen? Besonders dann wenn angeboten wird mit vielen Besuchern zu kommen.

Immer Interessante Ausstellungen und ein guter Überblick über den Bezirk Alsergrund
Wer sich für das Thema Feuerwehr und deren Geschichte interessiert, dem kann man das zwar kleine, aber feine Museum empfehlen, das mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detail aufwartet. Der Eintritt ist kostenlos, aber man muss beachten, dass es nur für wenige Stunden am Dienstag und Sonntag offen hat. Das einzige negative war, dass es leider nicht barrierefrei erreichbar ist.

Sehr empfehlenswerte (kleine) Austellung der Feuerwehr. die ganze Runde geht sich, je nach Alter und Geschwindigkeit, in ca. 1 Stunde.
Die Feuerwehrmänner waren übrigens sehr entgegenkommend und freundlich. Und wenn man höflich fragt, bekommt man sogar eine kurze Führung in der Garage, wo die Einsatz-Fahrzeuge auch geparkt sind.

An important museum! Come here to see right underneath the Holocaust memorial the excavated remains of Vienna's medieval synagogue. The exhibition highlights the struggles of the Vienna's Jews through the ages from roman times. (For the struggle during WWII and since, turn to Vienna's Jewish museum's main site at Dorotheergasse 11). This place is absolutely worth a trip.
Ich kann allen AlsergrunderInnen empfehlen dort vorbei zu schauen. Der Bezirk hat eine abwechslungsreiche Geschichte ;-)
