This castle is a nice one, i recommend to visit it. First of all, you will find a lot of nice places with projecting videos on the walls where you learn the history of the place, which is great if you don't have a guide.
I liked the dining room the most, where everything was designed in detail, I have attached a video. That room gives you the feeling that you are living in the period presented through the images and the music used.
The ticket price is not high.
Absolutely didn't expect to enjoy the castle visit as much as I did! It's pretty much hollow without any non authentic furniture put in, but with amazing projections that were not only entertaining, but also really educative and told me more about the city than anything else.
It is an Ok experience, better than other empty castles. A lot of beamer and music in the rooms. Overall much better than other, more expensive castles. Two rooms were empty and the gesture screen with Aurora didn't really work.

I loved that museum- castle! The stuff were super friendly and has many artifacts to see. Plus the exhibitions were very interactive and captivated. As you could get a view in the old times and Italy’s heritage - history! Totally recommend it!!

Pretty cool place to visit.
It costs 10 euros per person to enter.
I went on a public holiday and it was free of charge.

Big castle in a sea shore. Inside there are a lot of artifacts and a very large number of multimedia presentations. These presentations show the history of the city of Bari, present the hardships of the castle's history and, in an accessible way, show life in the times of the castle's glory. a castle inextricably connected with Poland, thanks to Queen Bona Sforza
The castle itself is nice, the show is kinda good, the light show is great .

We ran across this little museum in Bari and went in to have a look. The young man at the door was absolutely brilliant. He gave us a succinct history of the museum itself, explaining why the collection is so small and strange and in doing that he also gave us a short history of Italy that was just fascinating! Highly recommend stopping in to chat with him. He is enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and speaks excellent English.
Roger the Norman originally built this castle in the 12th century over the ruins of a Byzantine structure. Later, Frederick II of Swabia built over the existing castle, incorporating it into his design and leaving intact the two towers of the Norman structure that still stand. The bastions, with corner towers overhanging the moat, were added in the 16th century during Aragonese rule. Excavation is ongoing and the largely sparse interior is used for occasional art and sculpture exhibitions.
I enjoyed the visit very much, although I wished to see the first floor too. At the moment only the ground floor can be visited. The multimedia experience is wonderful, great presentation and effects. A wonderful presentation of history.

The 12th-century Swabian Castle (Castello Svevo), with its fortified ramparts and vaulted halls, is one of top sights in Bari and a refreshing break from the port city’s Romanesque churches and art collections. Climb the Hohenstaufen tower and Aragon walls for sweeping views of the city and sea.
A interesting castle to go and visit. 1st Sunday of the month is free entry. Price normally of 8 euro is a bit steep as not much artefacts inside but overall it's interesting. Toilets also available.
Great architecture, and visual effects. If you have a free hour, you can find beautiful sculptures, antique burrial hall, huge yard and a lot of potential.
Nice castle, in good condition. A little not many things to see inside, but from the outside it is impressive. Inside we can find a bit of history and archaeological halls. Entrance 8 euros for a normal ticket.

Lovely museum. Not so much to see. But the building is nice and the exhibitions are placed in an interesting way.

Very little museum. In the center of Bari. It was very diverse, paintings, drawings, objects. We spent an hour or so, but liked it.
Una suggestiva piazza di Bari vecchia
Extremely helpful lady who provided information about the museum and lots about the local area and places to visit.
