Went to Youth 4 mental health a charity event organized by high schoolers to help kids who struggle with mental health issues. The concert was the brain child of one of the organizers who lost a close friend to suicide. Loved the ambience of JAM. Highly recommend here for small events!
We had an incredible experience at the jet aircraft museum! The staff were incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable, sharing fascinating stories about the history of the aircraft on display and Canadian aviation. Captain Ken and Christine greeted us at the door, and their passion for aviation truly made our visit memorable.
Ken led us on a guided tour filled with interactive elements that enhanced our understanding and appreciation of the exhibits. Whether you're an aviation enthusiast or a young student interested in the field, I highly recommend this museum.

Hidden pearl of London Ontario! This is a very well put together exhibition hosted in a space (house) relevant to the topic. The variety of exhibited items is phenomenal, and the volunteer tour guides are knowledgeable and kind. Overall, 11/10 worth the visit :)

Great place for people with all levels of aviation knowledge. Our guide Captain Kennedy had deep knowledge and enthusiasm to share it with us.
This museum is small but an absolute gem. We arrived when the museum was busy, but the staff made us feel welcome. Christine was our super enthusiastic guide and provided an interesting and educational in-depth tour that we enjoyed immensely. She mastered keeping all of us engaged, despite our different levels of aircraft knowledge. We also chatted with Ken who shared stories and was great.

We were very lucky to have a guided tour on our visit. Our tour guide really brought Sir Banting's personality to life. Such a fascinating person!
Our tour guide also engaged our son in a scavenger hunt. We've been to a few museums with him and done other scavenger hunts but this guide was stellar in maintaining his interest, and with such a sweet prize at the end. I know he will treasure the experience.

I also liked the contemporary exhibit on tattoos. It was a nice addition to bring the museum to today's times as well.

My partner and I went to this museum a few weeks ago, and I’m STILL thinking about it! You’ll want to know, it’s a small museum that does a guided tour staffed by volunteers. Our tour guide was absolutely WONDERFUL. I’m afraid I can’t remember her name, but she was a former science teacher and veteran and boy howdy did it show. My partner is already a huge airplane nerd, but I myself don’t know too much about them. Our guide explained things in a way that even my basic brain could understand while still giving a more robust overview for my more knowledgeable partner. She checked frequently for understanding and asked great questions that always made me think and reflect on what she had already gone over. It made me so happy to be able to learn about something my partner cares about and in a fun and digestible way! We were only in Canada for about a week, and this was by far our favorite part of the entire trip. For whoever checks this for the museum: if you can decipher which tour guide I’m talking about please send her our heartfelt thanks from Luke and Charles, her Colorado based admirers!

Very welcoming staff. And, the best thing is that the museum is free. I found a place to visit all through summer. Kids friendly, too!

As a volunteer here at the Jet Aircraft Museum, you get to do alot in the small hangar. Theres a mock up of a cockpit people could go in (and you can see alot of the controls too!). Then, theres a flight simulator zone for everyone! (one for kids, two for the general public and one I think for pilots in training. HOWEVER ITS PAID SO DONT ASSUME THAT IT IS FREE!) Once people step in the Gift Shop, there’s alot to be purchased (mentioning that the museum sells really cool stuff like patches, pins, a keychain made from a plane!) If you guys are currently reading this review, this is just to let you know that the museum is worth the visit! See you guys if you’re planning to visit us at the Jet Aircraft Museum!

One of the best museums I’ve been to in Ontario, and it’s free!
Must see museum with historical & fine art& contemporary art excibitions. Free, have lockery, clean washroom and a nice coffetery.
Having personal ties to diabetics this was an important place to go.
The volunteers are so friendly and welcoming. They give an amazing tour.
Even if you have no personal i would recommend visiting and even make a donation to the cause.

This was my first visit to the museum, and I was there with friends for a fashion show event.
We arrived a bit early and had time to enjoy a beverage [coffee, tea & red wine] and snack at the Rhino Cafe located in the museum.
The museum areas that I saw were clean & bright.
I would love to go back & explore more.

Our son went to the March Break camp and I can't say enough good things about it! It was super engaging (equal or greater than others like Children's Museum!), with so many different activities. We signed up for a week of Summer Camp, I can't believe it doesn't sell out immediately—although maybe it's best kept secret!

Wonderful staff and a great place to go for free on a whim! I got the two vegan food options and the savory pastery thing was my absolute favorite! The gift shop has really cute stuff and overall there are some really impactful exhibits. Interactive art was my absolute favorite part of the visit.

Museum was very cool as was the workshop. I only removed one star from my rating as we attended with 5 kids aged 6-12 and I felt the tour guide we got wasn't used to kids? She wasn't able to present educational info in an accessible way for the younger ones. Used a lot of big words and long explanations. 12 year old thought it was great, but the other 4 were bored and confused a lot. Could have been a bit more kid friendly to simplify explanations.

My son is an avid collector of minerals, rocks, crystals, bones, and fossil's!!!! He's been this way since he was 3 ... And is now 6. He's avidly looking forward to coming and visiting.... I'm not too sure how much a tour will set you back .... But we'll get every penny worth with our son asking a million questions - but remembering the answers for LIFE. #REALLIFE Sheldon Cooper only way cuter and brave !!!

This was a fantastic museum to go to! Our tour guide was very knowledgeable. I learned so much about history. They also have high performance simulator for $20 for 25mins flight!

Beautiful historic property in the heart of the city. Well maintained Victorian architecture and furnishings. Knowledgeable volunteers make the experience unforgettable. We visited when it was decorated for Christmas with natural garlands. A must see if you are in London .
Right place to fly you back in time with this house built in the start of the 18th century and you get to see the actual well maintained house along with all original household stuff. Kudos to the welcoming staff and their efforts. Ample Parking at just the diagonal of the house.
We took the kids to do a Christmas craft. We toured the museum first and I found it amazing and fascinating. Although we could not go upstairs, due to a disability, we saw a video of the second floor and other places that are out of bounds. The craft was easy and fun and it was an enjoyable day. We plan to go back in the summer.
I often find myself throughout the years coming here when im near downtown and have some time. I recently went back here with one of my friends and had a nice time browsing. This is probably the only free museum I've been to that you only have to pay about 2$ for parking. With that being said, you kinda get what you pay for 😅 lol...

A very beautiful museum that talks about Canadian heritage, ancient antiquities, and the tools used by the population. There are very beautiful jewelry and antiques, heritage, civilization, and stages of development over the past years.
This was a great museum to visit! I learned so much about history, physics, flight practices, engineering, and the Canadian military in one place! Our tour guide was an extremely knowledgeable former pilot and school teacher and gave us a 24 karat guided tour - it was absolutely exquisite. This is definitely in the top three aircraft museums I have visited, and we’ve been to quite a good many in Canada and the USA! I can’t say enough good things about our visit here!
So much history of near and far. Staff are very knowledgable. Truly amazed me how things we use today were given birth to so long ago and their designed use.
Very beautiful and modern. However, today there were some exhibits closed due to reorganizing so it felt like an abrupt visit. Hopefully, when they reopen the other exhibits it will be better
I was incredibly surprised by the thought and care placed by the staff for our visit. They were patient with our questions, gave us ample time to explore further exhibits on our own and use the drone we brought to use on the Lawson site. It eas especially thrilling have the augmented reality tour outside at the Lawson site. I will definitely be going back again. I felt like I learned a lot.

The space and location are awesome. There is a lot of room and potential here for some great exhibits but it can also be hit and miss depending on what they're exhibiting at the time you visit.

As such importance of this place is well beyond giving any star rating . People with wisdom and foresight have converted the residence of Sir Fredrick Grant Banting, the discoverer of Insulin drug in to a Memorial . He has indeed given a fresh lease of life to countless diabetic patients. To commemorate his contributions to humanity his statue is erected and many eminent and prominent people have paid their tributes. Me and my wife being a diabetic couple, we paid our tributes on our and also on behalf of several our relatives and friends .....
It’s a very small military museum. It details the local history of the 1st Hussars. It’s definitely worth checking out if your into military history.
Always a great time at Museum London. We try to go every year to enjoy the new exhibits and history!! This visit was a date night with my boyfriend and we loved it.

This was my first visit to the Museum London and I will be back! We went for the free guided tour and learned sooo much. Gemmel was friendly, confident, and included everyone in the experience. They also host events. A great place to go for a date, with friends, or solo.
I can't describe my visit today. I've been wanting to see Eldon House for so long and finally got the chance when they had The Summer Market. As someone who is enamoured with historical buildings this one is priceless. Just stunning.
A fantastic place that's worth visiting more than once. There's so much one can learn from this place! Among the exhibits there are some amazing items, likely impossible to see anywhere else! If you love history, radio communication, vintage electronics, aviation, plan a visit to the Secrets of Radar Museum!
A place set aside to celebrate Canadian heroes in the medical field. There are writeups about each of the heroes and their breakthrough.
The oldest residence in London, Ontario. There's a lot to learn about the family of John and Amelia Harris, the original furnishings of their house, heirlooms, and artefacts collected from their world tour.

Small, but delightful museum. We enjoyed a leisure walk through that took about 2 hours.
Lots of lovely framed art, feature exhibits, London aerial photos and history.
Lower level had great London time-line with key local history moments as well as some great artifacts from the area.
We loved the gift shop and bought an exquisite piece of pottery.
Staff was friendly, facility was very clean and well presented.

A terrific, hidden gem of a museum telling a story that didn't really make it into Canada's 'official' history of WWII. In recent years, Blechley Park and the efforts have Alan Touring have come to light after a 50 year lockdown on secrecy expired. Radar, and particularly Canada's role in the early development and use of this war-winning new technology was similarly locked up for 50 years leaving a gap in the colloquial history of WWII. This museum seeks to correct that.

Displays are well laid out and tell the story succinctly and effectively. The volunteers are very passionate about sharing this story and their efforts bring the museum to life. This is a story that deserves to be told and needs to be inserted into Canada's war history.
I highly recommend a visit perhaps even followed up by a trip up to Clinton to see the antenna displays in town and the old Radar training base.

Went to the opening of Black History Month which was very educational as usual. One thing caught my eye though. The cats by artist Diego Tamayo. OMG! Suggest that people go see his work. Absolutely 💯
If you love to explore historic things, Eldon House is a must visit place. Each and every piece is beautiful and speaks out stories of the Harris family. Beautiful interiors, amazing library with so many books and artefacts from all around the world. Loved the vibe of the place.
A great historic site to learn about an important discovery! The house is not big but contains some really neat artefacts and interesting stories. The staff member on duty that day, an Asian volunteer whose name I forgot, offered to give us a tour, which lasted about half an hour. She was very friendly and deserves some compliments! It was so interesting to learn about the circumstances, the other people involved, and the impacts of the discovery. I hope more people, locals and visitors alike, discover and visit this museum.
This was an accidental find for us, but we are so glad we stopped in for a tour. The staff gave us a 30 minute tour and they were extremely knowledgeable, engaging, and personable. The story of the creation of insulin, the creators, and the historic home/building was very interesting and well worth the $15 (for a family) entry fee. Check it out if your ever in London Ontario and looking for something a little educational.
A bit smallish but considering it focused on the narrow scope of radar, it was interesting what they had.
Fell upon this hidden gem passing the airport. We were very happy we decided to stop by. Very passionate staff and their excitement was contagious. Learned A LOT!

I’ve never been to this cute little museum. I’m not familiar with the history of the 1st Hussars but it would be educational to learn. I hope to visit the interior eventually. It’s a very nice location to be sure and it’s most likely very pleasant in the summer months. 👍😎
This is a nice and cosy military museum that deals London's local military history that provides a different perspective from the Royal Canadian Regiment.
Fantastic niche museum with incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and passionate staff. Definitely worth a visit. Even my father, a retired radar technician, learned a thing or two!
I went here one time, and I was not disappointed. This place is very cool, and the staff are well-educated on the history of the museum and everything in it. Cool place, definitely will visit it again!!!
We had a great day and learned alot. The staff made this trip very fun and informative. We will come back again and we have already recommended this place to other families. I do wish we could have gone inside of a longhouse though. The gift shop is great. Bring money

Coming to this place is to learn and appreciate Canada's achievements in medicine. This can include the breakthroughs of our leading doctors and medical scientist as well as others who went the extra mile for others in health, like Terry Fox.

Fantastic place to visit with the family. Full of history and authenticity. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, they organize events for all ages. Well maintained and easy to walk around, access to the second floor is by stairs only. I liked the main hallway decorations and the comments around the house with interesting information.

Interesting history of the Canadian and American wartime assistance to the British. Cool artifacts of radar equipment, uniforms, manuals and personal notebooks.

Enjoyed it a lot, very interesting. Went at beginning April, so nothing much was happening, i was the only one there, but i loved walking in the forest seeing all the beginnings of spring.
On the outside, it just looks beautiful, especially during the evening with colorful lights. On the inside, there's some really cool things inside there full of Canadian Heroes. Just a great place to explore with quiet time.
This is a good place to visit to learn about what's happened in London's history, what's coming up in the surrounding area, and how London has been put on the map over the decades.
I wish there was more of a spotlight on diversity there... any mention of people of non-caucasian dessent or non-canadians is shown in the light of white saviors delivering their charity to the third world... That said, this would still be a good place to stop in for tourists and locals alike! There is so much to learn.
