A bit boring and the price is very high

Nice place with lots of fun things to see.. VR fame was the highlight of the place. Must visit for kids and they will enjoy the most.

It was nice and a few interesting attractions… so we had fun… but in general almost everything is available in normal museums. I hoped there would be magicians or shows, but only do it yourself “illusions”. Again, It was a good time, around 1 -1:30 hour tour, but i really don’t see the price even close to be adequate to what is inside….

Great place, nice experience

House of Magic powered by Ehrlich Brothers at Centro Oberhausen - Worth a visit with kids from the school age on.

Online ticket booking in advance is recommended. Free parking at the Centro Oberhausen parking areas.

Visiting time takes round about 2 hours. For all fans of the Ehrlich Brothers a must visit. For everyone else a nice experience with many nice magic moments.

You are guided through the rooms of the house of magic and have lots of magic tricks to see and test by yourself.

Our 2 kids at the age of 7 and 12 years enjoyed the house of magic. They also visited with us the show of the Ehrlich Brothers Dream and Fly and like the Videos on Youtube.

My wife took a lot of selfies and fotos a also enjoyed it. I liked the house also. Many things to see and everything aranged in a good way with experiences.
Don’t expect to much and just enjoy the visit.

At the end you have a store with some magical articles like magic show kits for kids, magic coffee mugs, umbrellas that shange colour during rain, the camel Alexandrio for the kids and more…

Watch out for discount tickets and get tickets in advance. We enjoyed it. One time visiting is enough. Combine the approximately 2 hour visit with some shopping in the Centro Oberhausen or the Lego Discovery Center for the kids.

Erst vor einiger Zeit hatte ich von diesem Objekt gehört und mir mal als Lesezeichen für zukünftige Tagesausflüge abgespeichert. Da wir an diesem Tag ein anderes Ziel aufgesucht hatten passte das aber ganz gut ins Konzept. Nachdem wir zunächst etwas Mühe hatten das zu finden war es aber im Grunde genommen gar kein Problem. Es liegt nämlich nur einen Steinwurf von dem riesigen Einkaufszentrum in Oberhausen entfernt. Mitten auf einer großen Wiese steht er dann der "verbogene" Strommast den man in Anlehnung an eine Ballade von Johann Wolgang von Goethes Zauberlehrling nennt. Das sollte man sich durchaus mal ansehen!

Magical!

Super recommended for kids and families. We found it looking for an alternative to Legoland (booked out) and my 6 years old daughter absolutely loved it. My 3 year old also enjoyed it although there were some things she didn't understand. Everything is also subtitled in English, which helped me a lot because my German is not so good yet.

I love pylons, and this is certainly an interesting pylon!

There's also a bendy bridge, but I mainly went for the pylon. Plenty of places to park nearby and there's also a café and some toilets near the car park.

Only drawback was the smell of poo near the pylon. There's some sort sewage treatment plant which seems to discharge smelly water into a ditch alongside the fields.
