Beautiful sports club next to Spring Creek Towers. Helpful, attentive staff. Three indoor pools. Huge equipment room with instruction. Boxing gym. Yoga. Basketball courts. And the place is kept spotless. Type of gym you would only expect in the city. Huge.

Excellent environment with state of the art of equipment. The staff is friendly and attentive. I must also mention how clean and spacious the facility is. Kudos!

Do NOT rent out the rooms for a party. The room was messy when I arrived (literally found a sock) and after we left it cleaner than we found it, they are keeping our deposit because we “scuffed the walls” this comes after a lady said the room looked great after we left. Staff was also very rude on the phone and is saying it is $200 for a scuff even though they refuse to show us photos!!

This place is huge, clean and my son loves basketball and swimming. The staff is nice and respectful

First day here and everything went well. The sign up process was smooth, the facility was clean and not too crowded. There's tons of amenities like a swimming pool, basketball court and sauna! The fitness area had all of the equipment necessary for a great workout, from strength training to cardio. As a plus there's also a free parking lot for members! I highly recommend this gym, no complaints at all.

No one answer any phone calls at this location. I don't know how to reach them to ask for information.

Lots of fun!!!! but bathrooms Locked so be prepared.

Took my granddaughter for play time till she was ready to go to sleep

Friendly, clean and the environment for kids is safe.
Brooklyn need more like that.
Brooklyn need more like that.

Great park for all ages.
While little kids go on swings and slides, older kids can race around (I'll mention it later) or play basketball!
It's a great place where there's even a little racetrack where you can race with friends.
The only bad thing is that when the weather is Good, there's a lot of people and there's a line for swings.
And it's only a few people when the weather is not good.

My daughter started taking swim lessons there a week ago. With her first swimming instructor I was very disappointed. I then began to regret ever having put her in swim at the Brooklyn Sports Club. And then…something wonderful happened! When she went to her swim lesson today, she had a different instructor, and he was AWESOME. My daughter did so well! I no longer regret putting her in swim at the Brooklyn Sports Club. Thanks Instructor Dylan.👌

Great park for children age 3 to 16. Slides, sprinklers, climbing ropes, and swings. Plenty of shade, benches to sit on, parking on the streets available. Great family fun

Love the park love too see the kidz enjoy them selfs

I love this place. My daughter spends a wonderful time here. She learned to take her first steps here and she loves the slides. I come here almost every day and we always take Ice cream back home. She even learned to hold the ice cream cone here. Definitely recommended there is soo much here for every age group

Certain spots off the park are missing green grass because of soccer and volleyball playing. Motorbikes and electric bikes are passing through the park it's not safe. And certain dogs without a leash it's not safe .

Great place to play. Please nobody rip the nets off the rim. Good to play when sun is out because it can get very very windy

Called for fitness/gym center information. Representative is professional. But 6pm for adults? Earlier hours are for teens. I think it’s ridiculous timing it’s not enough since this places closes at 9pm. The hours for both parties should be execute/changed.
Also since they’re closing for renovations in June I hope they add more space & machines for the gym.

A Comprehensive Review of Brooklyn Sports Club: Your Ultimate Fitness Destination
As someone who actively seeks out exceptional health and fitness facilities, I was thrilled to explore the Brooklyn Sports Club. Having now experienced its many features firsthand, I can confidently state that it lives up to its promise of helping its members "live better".
From the moment you step into the 100,000 square foot facility, you're met with an air of excitement and energy that's infectious. The Brooklyn Sports Club provides a comprehensive range of facilities that cater to diverse fitness needs and preferences.
The fitness floor, spanning over 10,000 square feet, is equipped with state-of-the-art gear from renowned brands like Keiser, Precor, and Gym Rax. This expansive area with top-notch equipment makes it stand out from many other exercise facilities, providing ample space and tools to get a well-rounded workout.
The swimming facilities are a particular highlight. The 25-yard indoor lap pool, boasting six lanes, is one of the largest in NYC. It's ideal for both serious swimmers and those who wish to unwind after a strenuous workout. There's also a dedicated training pool for aqua aerobics, perfect for those who prefer a low-impact, yet effective workout. I was particularly impressed by the kiddie pool area – a safe, fun space for young ones to splash around and enjoy their first swimming lessons.
Speaking of lessons, Brooklyn Sports Club offers a host of instructional classes. I was fortunate to work with Jordan, one of their swimming instructors, who was patient, dedicated, and highly effective in helping me improve my swimming skills. His expertise and commitment to his students are commendable.
The club also boasts indoor and outdoor basketball courts, catering to sports enthusiasts who enjoy a friendly game or a competitive match. The outdoor sun deck with a partial awning is an excellent space to relax and catch some sun during the summer.
Martial arts and boxing classes for both youth and adults add a unique and dynamic touch to the club's offerings. The boxing studio was a personal favorite of mine, providing an excellent opportunity to learn new skills and blow off some steam.
The five group exercise studios offer a variety of classes – from strength and cardio to mind and body workouts. The personal training and small group training options ensure that everyone can find a workout routine that suits their individual needs and goals.
The locker rooms are spacious, clean, and well-maintained, with steam rooms and saunas for post-workout relaxation. The additional facilities like the children's party space and meeting room rentals add a community-friendly touch to the club.
Convenience is also a significant factor in the club's favor. With free on-site parking and a location just off the Belt Parkway, it's easily accessible and hassle-free to visit.
In summary, the Brooklyn Sports Club offers an exceptional fitness experience. It's more than just a gym – it's a comprehensive health hub that caters to the whole family. The combination of top-tier facilities, a wide range of classes, expert trainers, and a vibrant, welcoming atmosphere makes it a standout choice for anyone looking to exceed their fitness goals.
I wholeheartedly recommend swinging by and booking a tour – seeing is believing, and I am sure you'll be as impressed as I was. The Brooklyn Sports Club is not just a fitness facility; it's a community, a lifestyle, and much more.

Beautifully park and very convenient location. There is Q train near by, Avenue M station. The park has two playgrounds for kids. There are plenty of benches to rest and watch your kids while they having fun. You can bring your own pet to the park and play with. I always visit this park with my 5 years old niece and we often bring out pet, parakeet bird 🐦, with us there. Amazing place ❤️💖💝🧡💙💚

Two brain cells are running this place. Bad attitudes, long lines. Multiple Workers flirting calling me "mami", "thinking I was a mom"... Do you see me holding any kids?? ....Two brain cells. Then I went to use the restroom inside while my boyfriend made it in, the female drill sargent called me and I wasn't going to be rude and ignore her. Did not allow me in. Also, I had an allergic reaction to the chemicals in the water, or perhaps the water is unsanitary.. Not worth it for me. Be prepared to be disrespectfully addressed if you are entering the pool. Dont know about the rec. Really just seems like a power trip. I don't understand why they need to close off the entire bathrooms when they have hundreds of visitors! Obviously I feel bad waiting in line when there are three families waiting to get into the TWO family changing rooms! How disgusting they expect you to urinate in the pool, otherwise you cant use the indoor toilet like a human being. It's a LAZY establishment. Also, it's very crammed, and the lifeguards do not stop whistling. If you are easily affected by overstimuli, this place is not for you. Very poor experience.

This place is very fun and educational for adults and students as well as children. This place has a basketball court, free pool, gym, table tennis area, and garden. I currently work here at the moment so I can say that the manager and supervisors are friendly and great at doing their job professionally.

This is the entrance of the pool. I've been going to Sunset Pool every other day with my granddaughter, since the first week that the pool opened. I would love to have been able to take pictures inside the pool area because me and my granddaughter enjoyed ourselves a whole lot but electronics aren't allowed. You can bring electronics but they have to be left in your locker 🔐. I like the fact that you can take bottled water to the pool area. There is at times (especially when the weather is very hot 🥵) a long line outside in front of the pool to get in but the times that I have encountered such a line, the line moved quickly. There has been at least 2 cops in the entrance of the pool this summer. Although I haven't heard of anything negative that has happened in or around the pool area, it's always a good thing to see the presence of the police 🚓.

If you read the reviews, they are mainly ancient… this review is for the rec center itself… it is EASILY the worst rec center out of all of them. There are so many with amenities and classes that are available to adults…The Sunset Park Recreation center mainly caters to kids and it’s closed off to adults most of the day while kids are in school. You aren’t allowed to use the dance room to practice in, you aren’t allowed to use the media center and now!!!! No lap swimming is allowed due to “lack of lifeguards”.. there is an Olympic sized pool yet everyone has to be crammed into half of it where you are unable to swim without a teenager doing a cannonball onto your head. I was really looking forward to doing laps this summer .. but all we’re allowed to do in this MASSIVE pool is cram together with a bunch of kids peeing and the inability to SWIM with 18 lifeguards SURROUNDING it. I was hoping that the pool would make up for everything this rec center is lacking but it just officially made it the worst rec center. SO DISAPPOINTED after waiting through winter to finally be able to do laps again … people who are doing laps generally know how to swim, how about designating one of the lifeguards to the lap area and all of the others to the cool off area? People want to swim!!!!!

Park is always kept clean by staff, great work ethic, and bathrooms are always sanitized, and kept open from 6AM - 5:30PM.
Not understanding why people come to google to make false complaints about the bathroom being “locked” when they are opened for nearly 12 hours a day. Stop being lazy with your child and come to the park earlier.

The environment is normally very quite. Some areas are inundated with garbage the Lawn Tennis section I used was the cleanest. However, the chairs and other furniture needs to be removed. The play area and children's play area is deplorable. Over grown shrub, leaves, food containers, and bottles and idlers smoking. Pieces of clothing are normally seen on the basketball court

This park is mostly redone and is very peaceful and good place to play and rest, it has fun for the children and basketball ball courts and other for playing (gets busy sometimes as with every park) if you live in the area you should add this park to your places to spend time

Nice neighborhood park. In my time, there was a small farmers' market with a good selection and great cooking demos. There are also some tennis courts nearby.

This sports/fitness facility is located behind Starrett City, notable as an event venue as well. Most staff was very helpful and accommodating during the annual hat show/pageant.
The building is well lit with natural lighting and equipped for accessibility.

A nice place to take your children and play with them. You can go there and shoot sum hoops, you can play sum tennis, or you can get sum exercise. They also have sprinkles for the little people in your life.

Me too but I have to get my mom if she see you soon and thanks for you help me out with the girls and lonely you don't know what you mean I have ades I have ades you are you doing today my name is the lucky one day at a very good job and if you want me to going out for a few hours on my check for the amount I will be on my way soon and I hope to hear you had a very beautiful woman I love you and miss you are cute and funny you should be in the house you are you doing today my name is that telling me about me I don't know I think about me and I can I just get so much done today as I am not feeling good

There's a variety of activity areas for all ages and stages of life like a sprinkler for hot days, separate swingsets for toddlers and children, an exercise area with exercise equipment (the kind where you use your own body weight), a basketball court (maybe 2), 1 or more handball courts, benches, picnic tables and water fountains, bathrooms and a jungle gym with slides. Its even a very short walk to corner stores and a few restaurants for drinks, snacks or a quick bite to eat and literally right across the street from the B38 bus.

Awesome space... Good for tennis basketball, and hand ball... And workouts

Great place to workout. Hit the bar workout bar calisthenics (push ups, dips and, pull ups, and abs stations). Many other park options as well. Tennis court, handball, basketball courts (2 full courts) and swings.

Great park to enjoy the weather and just to relax and have a walk. The recreational center is pretty cool they have lots of free class such as zumba and etc. Great spot for taking photos and playing basketball. Overall awesome park to have lunch in warm weather.
