Seems like a popular place with well-maintained equipment and environment.
There's almost no part of the day when it is empty.
My son joined Brooklyn Basketball Academy (BBA) during the fall season last year, and he has made incredible progress during his time there improved, especially with dribbling, shooting, and strength training. Coach Gio and Kyle are always very helpful in ensuring the players practice their drills and understand the fundamentals of the sport while having fun and teaching them sportsmanship on an off the court. They offer travel games but also have in-house league games, so the kids learn offense and defense while working together as a team. BBA has also helped my son develop emotionally as a young man with the positive influence of his coaches. He was allowed to volunteer this summer and help coach the younger groups, which has only helped him love the game even more and understand the importance of mentorship. BBA not only has one of the nicest indoor basketball courts in Brooklyn, but it's also a great environment. They have built a community, not just an academy.
I have twin girls and they've been playing basketball for a few years. I signed them up with BBA recently in the spring of 2023. Their skills have improved immensely since joining BBA and they love the program and their teammates. The coaches involved (Coach Gio, Coach Kyle, Coach Pat and Coach Luca) have done an amazing job. They have gone above and beyond from what I expected with the time and energy spent working with the girls.
Our family has had a wonderful experience at BBA. The coaches and staff care deeply about the players, the program and the game of basketball. Any kid is lucky to be able to participate in any of the BBA offerings.
This place is amazing, the view, the courts, people there were surprisingly friendly. You wont see something like this anywhere else in the world.
My son has been in BBA for over two years. He's grown into such a well rounded individual with the guidance of these lovely coaches. Coach Gio and the other coaches are all remarkable, and have made such a positive impact on my son. He absolutely loves being there and is so goal-oriented. BBA always goes above and beyond, and for that we are so appreciative. Thank you so much for your consistent efforts, for giving him the opportunity to be on the travel team the last three seasons, and for always believing in him.
Professional coaches and staff! Amazing basketball academy, clean and spacious gym. We’ve been coming to BBA for two years now and couldnt be more happier. Thank you to Coach Gio and his amazing staff for always helping our son to grow stronger and smarter!
Literally the best basketball street courts there are! What a view to play in front of...
Views from the court are phenomenal. There are always groups of people playing and they are very receptive of people joining there teams.
There are empty courts to play other games like squash and even tennis although this is not a tennis court.
A Fantastic Basketball League and Training Program for Kids!

My sons have been with Basketball academy for 2 years now, This basketball program has exceeded all my expectations, providing a positive and nurturing environment for young athletes to develop their skills and love for the game. Here are the key aspects that make this program truly outstanding:

Expert Coaches: The program boasts an exceptional team of coaches who are not only knowledgeable about the sport but also genuinely passionate about teaching and inspiring young players. Their ability to connect with the kids and instill confidence in them is commendable.

Skill Development: The focus on skill development is second to none. The training sessions are well-structured and cater to players of all skill levels, ensuring that each child receives individual attention. The coaches pay attention to detail, teaching proper techniques, and providing constructive feedback to help players improve their shooting, dribbling, passing, and defensive skills.

Fun and Engaging: The program places great importance on making basketball enjoyable for the kids. The drills and activities are designed to be engaging and interactive, keeping the young athletes excited and motivated throughout the sessions. The incorporation of friendly competitions and team-building exercises adds an element of fun while fostering sportsmanship.

This program truly stands out as one of the best leagues available in NYC, thanks to the coaches Gio, Kyle & Luka
This place is an amazing indoor gym for basketball. Very clean and professional. Kids live coming here because of the amazing community they have established here. Will continue coming here with my friends as well.
The team at the Brooklyn Basketball Academy is second to none - their program has helped my son and countless other kids exponentially from strength and conditioning to advanced skill and basketball techniques. The coaches give great feedback and the vibe is electric. Coach Gio and Coach Kyle know how to teach kids, they are always having fun and loving the sport!
One of the coolest places to play ball, there is enough spots to take a break and even a drinking water fountain. All the courts are well maintained
The worst thing built in the community it’s not used as a basketball court but more or a hangout for drug sales and gang ignitions when you tell PROGRESSIVE Property MANAGEMENT THEY DO NOTHING
A great Saturday morning gathering place to get a sweat in, throw some balls, hit some pickle ball, kick a soccer ball and practice your tennis swings!

Rollerskating on the weekends usually from late April to late October. Customer service at the rink was amazing!
Basketball courts. Cook out area. Nice place. Needs a food court though. No where to eat inside the park.

Good gym
You have to get there early to get the four courts that are covered. The rest of the courts although in the sun are tolerable. There is a decent breeze, the bathrooms are located nearby as well as drinking fountains. It's just a beautiful place overall for biking, walking, site seeing or paddleboarding. The only difficult part of the park is finding ample parking. It you manage to make it early then there is plenty of parking on the side of the street parallel to Pier 2. My new favorite place.
Kiwi view: great basketball courts for winter. Two are under a roof. The toilets are heated and warm! Has bubblers for water. Can get breezy with a chill wind though. Back drop is the Manhattan sky line which is great. And you can see the statue of liberty. Friendly pick up games or just shoot hoops by yourself. Also has an exercise area with VERY basic machines, (fake) grass area and table tennis tables.
Basket ball court .handball court . running track( lots of space
