I just returned a pc monitor I bought 2 weeks ago. The connection didn't fit the pc so I could not use the item. The manager was called to deal with the return. When the manager came over he had such a bad attitude right off the bat. He was rude and standoffish to myself and his staff. At first he didn't want to accept the return citing the purchase was made too long ago as the reason. He then offered to buy it back from me for R200 less than what I paid for it. When I purchased the item I asked weather I could return it because I was deciding between two options, the guy helping me in the floor confirmed that I could and we proceded with the sale. The manager went to the floor and got the sales assistant who helped me and questioned him in front of everyone regarding what he said wrt the return policy. When he confirmed our conversation the manager then told him that he will be paying for the monitor. How can he force the sales assistant to pay for the item and resell the same item? Thats fraudulent. He has very bad interpersonal skills and should not interact with the public or manage staff. Overall it was a very bad experience. I intended to exchange the monitor and purchase a phone, but wanted nothing further to do with that store. I feel so bad for those employees. I hope the sales assistant takes him/CC to the CCMA for making him pay for something that the shop will eventually be selling. Next time I'm in the area I'll go and encourage him to do just that.

You should hire better people to manage your stores and employees. You businesses will be better of for it.
So I walk up to the courier driver to collect my package (Tuesday) and realize it's quiet small. Go into my room, make a video, take a few pictures and call them immediately. We talk on the phone and the agent says he'll call me back in 5 minutes. About 2 hours go by, I send a text and he calls me saying they trying to sort it out to have it sent. He's going to speak to his manager. Nothing happens. Now I'm nervous because they are acting shady and the solutions they are proposing are unethical, basically making it my responsibility to fix the mess they created. It felt like they were hiding something as I was not at ease.

I then decide to communicate with head office about this whole ordeal. First thing in the morning, I get a call from the manager herself playing victim and shouting over the phone telling me she got a warning (lies) about the complaint I made and that they have the laptop, it's not lost. It certainly wasn't a pleasant call especially with no regard for me as a client, but mostly about her reputation. No remorse whatsoever, no apology, no care, really poor customer service ethics.

Now I'm waiting for the tracking number from 9am up until about 3pm at which I decide to send another text. The guy calls and says he's waiting for it from his manager. About 10 min later I get it and track it immediately. I was appalled at the fact that she had sent the package at 9 in the morning and she was sitting with the tracking details all day. Worse, she made it Economy service instead of Overnight (I personally requested overnight on my initial request with the courier) which means I'll get the package on Monday, mind you, it's Wednesday. I personally went to the courier company on Saturday (they don't do deliveries on weekends) because the client who had purchased the laptop was tired of the constant delays and I might lose the deal.

I think the manager should take customer service training classes or else this would be a 1 star review. I usually don't write reviews but this one takes the cake. You'd expect the manager to be the most helpful person but on the contrary, it was her subordinates. Thank you to that helpful gentleman. You were great.

Received the laptop.
Was the best place for dvds, Blu-rays and ps2 games. Now empty shelves. Still pop in from time to time to see what's new.
They say one thing and when you come back afer searching for other offers they say something different

I see that they don't buy second hand electronic products.
I don't see it anymore a second hand store for what new products.
I was just trying to sell something to a second hand store and they won't buy it as they have new ones in store. What is the purpose of a second hand store to buy second hand products.
But cash crusaders insist me that they can't buy it.
It doesn't make sense at all.
I'll say again SECOND HAND STORE for what.
Ample parking Friendly staff when I visited I am just surprised - I expected more stock in a place situated in a city like George. Not many second hand games or dvds for example
The lady cashier refused service. I bought a xbox 360 game, wen i came home i realised she put an xbox one disc in the cover. I went back the next day, she simply told me she wont look for the correct disc, she'll just refund my money. Very rude behaviour.
Cash Crusaders retails on second hand and some new merchandise. Cameras, cell phones, audio-visual equipment, tools, computers can be found here. Prices are reasonable and a bit negotiable. If you need cash the buy back option is a possible answer but be beware of the high interest asked. The variety and frequently changes in stock make it worth while to pop in from time to time to see what is available.
