I hired John after realizing that I sorely needed better headshots. And because I’m also running an active Facebook Group and creating a lot of content about copywriting, I decided it would be a good idea if he did a lot of “lifestyle” shots for me too.

I needed simple, clean and impeccable new headshots. I had seen John’s work (including pictures of me) from an event I attended, and they were gorgeous. I investigated on his website and decided to work with him.

Doing headshots is always kind of awkward, but John took care of that right away. He set a friendly – and frankly, silly – tone that made it easy to relax. And, we periodically stopped to look at pictures and figure out what was working. So, as we worked the photos just got better and better. And the results are great; my very, very picky manager loved them, which is saying something.

The package I got from John is not for the kind of shoot where you try a million backgrounds and all sorts of lighting tricks. It’s one, perfectly lit set-up, which means you can focus on your face and work the angles until it’s perfect.
The price is great. The results are exactly what I was hoping. Would recommend 100%.
(Also, it was kind of fun; and I usually detest this kind of thing.)

I worked with John on his Idea Nugget program as well as for a Lifestyle Portrait session to use in various aspects of my business. John has an infectious enthusiasm in helping develop ideas and thoughts (the Nuggets) for blogs, posts etc. And that carried right over to the photo shoot where his professionalism shined.
