Food was lovely, but service was a bit slow.
I had the fried Plaice and chips, it was fresh and crispy. The salad was also delicious with a lovely dressing. I would come here again.

Faultless. That’s the only word I can think of to describe my recent dining experience at Restaurant Karla. From the time you walk through the door, you instantly feel like you’ve been welcomed into a Danish home for some tasty local fare with a local flare. I recommend the Shrimp Cocktail for starters, and the minced beef with fried egg and potatoes, but also the roast pork is great, and so are the burgers. Didn’t make it to dessert, but the menu made them sound beyond delicious. Be sure and book in advance because they book up fast!

Awesome Cafe/restaurant. Fast, efficient and delicious. I actually went twice because it was recommended and the other because I knew they were fast. Both times were excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the beer was good! Recommend you book, they seemed rather busy.

We had a lovely traditional Danish meal at Karla. Reasonable prices and very good service. Please make reservations as many are turned away even for 1 person!

This tiny and cozy restaurant is very close to the city centre. From the outside it looks pretty average and not really inviting BUT in all honestly it didn't matter because the food, the atmosphere and the service was excellent!
I went there quite late and it was fully booked, that made it a little bit noisy inside which added a certain chill and casual vibe to it. Very nice! 👍
Now the food. WAWAWEWA how perfect it was. Their motto on the website states 'Danish dishes prepared with love as our mother would have made it 💜'. And oh boy how right they were, my tastebuds were screaming in euphoria 😩.
I got potato-leek soup as a starter and for the main course I chose filet salmon. My homosexual friend got himself Danish style roast pork. We were loving it!
I recommend this place if you like to eat something really fancy, have a wonderful service and experience a unique restaurant vibe. Although I am praising this place but sadly have to give it a 4/5 stars mainly because of the pricing. Other than that it's a flawless experience.
Oh and don't forget to book your seat in advance, they are apparently full of guess most of the time. 🐸

I ordered their traditional pork served with red cabbage. The skin was very crispy. I wish they gave more red cabbage. The venue was also traditional inside and out. Our waiter was attentive and friendly. Great pricing for Michelin restaurant.

Visited Copenhagen for a conference & found this place randomly. It was awesome. Ended up eating there 5 nights in a row. Best schnitzel I had in a long time and the pork roast was exceptional. They even got the crackling right! But definitely the best part was the personnel Top notch! Great atmosphere and prices ok for Copenhagen standards. I highly recommend.

Wanted some traditional Danish food. This place is good for that. The food was very good. The Roast pork was awesome. The Pork stew with paprika cream sauce was an amazing flavor but the pork was tough. We definitely enjoyed the food but pretty pricey.
