Nous avons consommé dans ce bar et avion également une réservation pour séjourner une nuit dans l’hôtel. Nous avons été très mal accueilli, la dame de l’accueil nous mentionne directement que nous sommes en retard et n’a pas voulu nous accepter prétextant qu’elle avait absolument besoin de mon numéro de passport, que je pouvais donner car j’avais mon passport sur mon téléphone. Elle n’a rien voulu savoir en me disant que ce n’était pas valable. Mon compagnon avait quant à lui son passeport, elle a déchirer la réservation devant nous en nous mettant dehors alors que nous avions déjà réglé via une plate-forme de réservation. Résultat, dehors en pleine nuit sans hôtel avec l’obligation de dormir dans la voiture. Fuyez cet endroit si vous voulez de la sympathie et un endroit accueillant où séjourner !
Great menu of the day and helpful waiters.
On a passé un très bon moment d'abord en terrasse pour boire quelques cañas et de très bons pinchos, puis à l'intérieur avec des verres de bons vins et des tapas excellentes (une mention particulière pour le délicieux salmón ahumado et son œuf mi cuit et sa mayonnaise aux agrumes). Tout ça avec des serveurs très sympathiques, on reviendra!!!

We loved this place! Came on a very busy Saturday night. The tapas were Very Delicious and well priced. We had the octopus with tetilla cheese, queso de cabra with caramelized onions, and Spanish tortilla. Would happily eat all again.

Very good food, but very busy place, so service is at slow at times and few mishabs, nothing against the waiters, they are polite and helpful, even if you don't speak Spanish well.

I was disappointed with the food. Service was good though.
We had 4 different dishes, and ALL were tasteless. Chickpeas from a can, frozen mackerel, soup made out of what looked like industrial glue and tasting like what I imagine glue tastes like. Takes a special talent to not hit a target even once.

I particularly recommend the lacón con grelos (they have their own twist on it), and the torrijas as dessert.

Excellent food at a very low price in the center Vigo. Two-gang menu and cafe for 11 euros, dessert for additional 2 euros. Quality is that of a star restaurant. Recommendable !

The restaurant does not make reservations so if you don’t want to wait, go early. I arrived by 1pm and they opened by 1:05pm. By then there were 2 more couples waiting, which is always a good sign.
Their pulpo a la gallega is probably the best one I’ve ever had, it had some texture yet it was super tender at the same time.
Ask for what empanadas they have of the day. We tried the anchovies one and it was outstanding.
Try to make some room for desserts too, you’ll see them once you are entering the restaurant :)

I should also mention that our waiter Pablo went above and beyond with service, he even took a better picture and did a performance with octopus cutting 👌🏻😁

We really thought this will be local and cool… how disappointed we were when they couldn’t even make a decent huevos rotos! A Spanish institute ruined.
Un sitio pequeño y acogedor. Fuimos en pareja y nos atendieron súper bien. Las camareras fueron muy agradables y nos atendieron rapidísimo. A pesar de estar lleno, todo el mundo estaba servido y no tardaban nada. Las tapas estaban muy ricas y las tartas también y todo muy bien presentado.

Mesón pequeño, con amplia terraza en buen tiempo. Buen ambiente y servicio agradable. Tienen un menú del día por 14€ bien elaborado y de calidad. Por ponerle una pega, la carta un poco escasa, pero con platos muy bien preparados.

Good selection of quality food. Peaceful terrace compared to others near. A bit sloped, to say something not so positive. Totally recommended
The food is oké but not worth the price. Our entrecôte was not prepared as expected. It was prepared with far to much chili which made the balance not nice. Moreover, the combination of spices could be better selected. Salmon tartar with banana sugar chips is a daring choice but not very tasty in my opinion. On the other hand, the wines were very well selected.

We stopped here for dinner by chance, and were NOT disappointed. The service was friendly and kind, and the food was absolutely phenomenal. Every dish was creative and executed perfectly. Great value, highly recommend. Their Vermut on tap was delicious.
Excelente trato de parte de los camareros y el chef, súper simpáticos y amables!! Increíble el bocata de carrilleras! El pan súper suave, y la carne buenísima, con un guiso increíble! 100% recomendado!

Stopped off for a late lunch and sat outside, had the Galician soup and cheese board- it was fantastic. Also had an aperitif of lentil and chorizo stew before we ordered.
He ido varias veces y todo lo que tomado me ha gustado muchísimo, le tienen muy bien cogido el punto a los pescados, y las carrilleras están riquísimas. La atención es muy buena.
You can find a tradicional empanadillas here with a touch of good teaste.
Un local agradable con buena bebida y buena comida. El pincho con la bebida es bueno, pero recomiendo pedir alguna de las tapas de la carta que son buenas y variadas.

What an amazing experience in Vigo. Everything that we taste was really nice. Even without a properly table we had a great time. And the empathy of everyone was great.
Ha sido una gran experiencia conocer este sitio en mi viaje a Vigo. Tanto es así, que he podido disfrutar hasta en tres ocasiones de las maravillas culinarias que prepara Luis, gran cocinero y persona que lleva las riendas de El Grillo. Acompañados de Ali y Loren, hacen de este sitio, una apuesta fresca, joven, diferente y de calidad en la cocina gallega.
Lo primero que sorprende, es que un restaurante que sirve menús a mediodía a un precio tan comedido de 10,50€, pueda ofrecer una calidad tan alta. Hablamos de cocina creativa, elaborada, con ingredientes frescos y de calidad, raciones más que suficientes para no quedarse con hambre y una presentación digna de un gran chef.
Tanto el menú, como la carta, ambos en constante cambio, ofrecen una variedad tanto de sabores como de contrastes que merecen ser degustados. Destacaré de entre todo lo que tuve ocasión de probar, los molletes de jarrete, el pulpo a la brasa (espectacular), las croquetas de bacon con plátano y los choricitos picantes de Lalín a la miel con migas. A todo esto, añaden unas muy buenas cervezas de barril y una amplia carta de vinos, todo ello para ser degustado en un local pequeño pero acogedor, con mesas y taburetes altos, bien decorado y limpio, donde podrás comer en un ambiente muy tranquilo.

Situated in the old town and definitely worth a visit.
Don't forget to leave a coin in one of the available spaces between bricks in the old stone wall. It's supposed to bring you good luck.

Good Tapas restaurant in the center of Vigo. We had for six people eight dishes and it was enough. The value for the money is ok, but you will definitely find better restaurants in Vigo. The service is fast and very friendly.

And we went once again, and I lost my words in my mouth once again. I needed all my attention to enjoy those dishes. We tried some new items in the menu and I exploded in excitement. I couldn’t help licking my fingers and the plate, oops!!!
My favorite place! The menu del dia is always amazingly tasty! It's not a cheap place but it's totally worth it! (not expensive either) Bon appetite!

Nice place with traditional Galician food cooked in a modern and tasty way. Recommend 100%. As a (small) con, red wine is served a bit colder than expected.
The best meal & service we had during our stay in Vigo. Really offers something different in the Old Town.
Seafood is the boss here and it tastes pretty good, really. Octopus was very fresh and soft (my dining partner wished for less salt and more paprika, though) and the monkfish/king prawn skewer was on point (but we wished the portion was larger). They also served a cute little fried tapas to start.

I enjoy it very much. Small place but great atmosphere. The staff is very friendly and helpful with your orders. All the tapas are shown on the bar and the prices are hung on the wall, so no surprises. The prices of the wine are also shown on the wall. All the tapas are getting warm so they are even better.

The food was delicious. You can get Asian style as well as Spanish dishes. The waiters are friendly and the atmosphere inside is cosy and relaxed.
