No where near as great as it used to be, most disappointed. Haven't been for quite a few years, decided to have a nostalgia trip, but won't bother again. People used to queue for the delicious pies and pasties, there may still be queues, but not for the hot pastries, I'm sure ☹️

This Bakery is Amazing, Nicole who served myself and my daughter, made this beautiful cuppachino for me and she was so nice, polite, and her customer service was excellent. The fruit bread rolls was so fresh and tasty very yummy. It is wonderful to go in a bakery and get good food and very good coffee.

Tiny in floor space, but large product range. Busy, quality bakery.

Good selection, even mid afternoon.

Loved the sour dough spiced fruit bun. Coffee very nice.

Seems like a takeaway bakery, (except for the outside tables, in nice weather).

It would be nice to see a list of all the sweet items for sale, with prices. Or labels inside the glass cases. Nobody wants to quiz the staff on “what is this? And how much is it” on ALL the sweet options, esp when there are customers lined up behind you.

My first visit, plenty reasons to go back for, another day. Thai sausage roll for lunch etc, and beestings in different sizes.

Hardworking staff

The best vanilla slice I’ve ever had, and the children gave their kranskies and cinnamon donuts a 10/10.
Also, the way the staff handled a rude, bossy old woman is to be commended. But that’s North Adelaide for you, I guess.
Great job to a bakery that’s punching well above its weight.

Bought a 21st birthday cake for my sons birthday dinner and was very happy with it! The prices are very reasonable, it was a lovely vanilla sponge with jam and cream, beautifully decorated and the writing was really nice. All of our guests were impressed and enjoyed eating it!

We tried croissants (good but cold, wasn’t offered to toast it), cheese and veg pasty (good )and Cornish pasty (very fatty).
Though sitting outside is beautiful, they don’t provide any plates, so it’s not really a sit down place, it’s more like on the go.

A very nice bakery which takes you back to the early 1900s when this bakery was established.
Had a great feel to it which adds the experience and food.
We had coffees and beestings. Best beesting I've had. Not too rich or sickly.
Staff was reasonably friendly and I really loved the complementary ginger bread persons.

Lovely Bakery with seating outside. Delicious mini pies, pastries, cakes, breads and more. Friendly staff and great service offered by Alex.
I enjoyed a Danish Custard pastry (OMG amazing sweetness) with a mug of Earl Grey tea and was given a complimentary mini Gingerbread Man :)
It smells delicious in this Bakery! With a good variety of baked goods.
There is a small bench inside and a few tables outside.
No Wheelchair ♿ access due to the small entrance (original half double doors) but you can access the outside dining area.
Watch out for the birds, they will steal your food if left unattended!
I highly recommend you visit this Bakery.
