We were served by the lady that owns the place I believe. She directed us to all the vegan options and there were plenty. Delicious vegan cheesecake and vegan cream pies, and lots of little cake bites. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a delicious vegan sweet treat

This small bakery it’s a jewel. Besides the amazing and friendly service, everything we buy there it’s always delicious and a great way to address our kids gluten allergy. For my wife birthday we got the perfect gluten free cake that was praised by all the guests.

I manage a house in the Falmouth area. A group of guests needed gluten free items. I ordered two custom cakes, donuts, muffins, coffee cake and focaccia sandwiches. The guests said they were the best they ever had-including those who were not gluten free. They are a pleasure to work with, offering suggestions-anything they make is amazing. Unfortunately I did not have the opportunity to take any pictures-it was enjoyed too quickly! Wonderful staff, amazing products!

I was visiting from Colorado and introduced to this bakery and it’s absolutely amazing! I have had celiac for over 20 years and I’ve tried to find bakeries across the world that accommodate.

The donuts are beyond a doubt the best gluten free ones I’ve ever had. The quiche, GF sandwich and everything I’ve had is a solid 5/5.

The staff is super knowledgeable and kind, the atmosphere is great. I will be sad to leave but eager to come visit again.

I had to add pictures of the GF rosemary focaccia bread with pesto, tomato and mozzarella. It was delicious!

This place has made being gluten free so much easier. Everything is amazing and it’s awesome to walk in and be able to choose anything knowing I won’t be sick afterwards. I wish all places prided themselves on using high quality ingredients.

The staff was so friendly and chatted about the Cape with us while we looked around. My sister was thrilled to find gluten free muffin options and said the orange muffin was the best gf baked good she has ever had and her favorite food of our trip! So glad we popped in based on how cute the building is!

This place is so clean and chic! From the baked goods to the gift shop, everything was perfectly organized and inviting. I had the hardest time deciding what to get because I wanted one of everything. So many of the cakes looked even too good to eat! I’d definitely recommend one for any special occasion. I ended up getting a raspberry cheese danish, and a cream cheese pineapple muffin. Both were exceptionally delicious, and I can’t wait to go back to try one of their croissants. Wonderful service from the girls at the counter as well.

I was very disappointed that my Fiancé and I had called ahead and were told by the owner that we did not need an appointment for a tasting. Then, when we arrived, the owner did not make an attempt to speak to us directly. Also, the owner claimed we needed an appointment when we arrived. I was disappointed that this owner was disrespectful and not keeping to their word. I wish that they would correct this if they are to continue doing baking for weddings in the future.

We called Sunday morning about 10 am inquiring about the sticky buns. We were notified, politely, that the last had just sold up front however the clerk would check in the back for more.

A short time later the young lady came to the phone again stating they were indeed out. However, after a quick “over the shoulder” conversation with the baker we were told if we can wait, they’d make more.

Two hours later, the pictures only partly do it justice. The whole car smelled like buttery heaven.

Do yourself a favor and get a sticky bun or six!

My sister’s wedding cake was not only delicious, but it also perfectly replicated her two dogs! The flowers were an exact match to her bouquet, too. Great job, this was such a fantastic cake!

My daughter has celiac so we travel looking for gluten-free options. We tried a few items: cupcakes, cheese cake, chocolate cream pie. I must say the strawberry frosting is the best creamiest I've ever had! The chocolate and cream topping was so fluffy, finally the cheese cake looked and tasted amazing. The only thing I didn't like was: the grainy coconut flour texture in all the baked goods. It worked well for cheesecake but felt heavy in cupcake. While I enjoyed every piece of baked item, I'm still trying to convince my teen daughter gluten-free doesn't have to taste different, so I will try again to see if they have perfected their goods.

The best gluten free/paleo bakery! High quality ingredients, fresh, and delicious! I always make sure to get some mini cheesecakes, veggie quiche, or the hand made cookies! You can’t go wrong with anything here! My boyfriends mom is gluten free and this is the only place I go to for all her sweet treats! They also offer vegan and dairy free options which is amazing.

Just want to say what a terrific job The Chocolate Rose did with my daughter's bridal shower cake. It looked lovely and tasted superb. Cannot say enough nice things about them! Easy to work with, well priced, delicious!

White Lion Baking Company started out as a small, household business that has grown into a physical commercial space, and retail goods in multiple health food stores across the region, including Providence and Boston.

The reason for it's growth, and the hard work they had to go through to get there, is that it is one of a handful of bakeries that offer gluten-free and grain-free baked goods. There are people out there who used to be able to eat things before their immune systems started going crazy when digesting certain foods, White Lion Baking Company makes foods that these people can cherish eating again. This freedom to enjoy a chocolate chip cookie is what keeps people coming back, and the use of healthier ingredients when compared to traditional ingredients.

There are some baked goods that use dairy, and others that do not. Be aware that while most of the ingredients could be grain-free, and considered paleo, there may be separate ingredients that may contain cane sugar. This is infrequent, though.

If you know of someone who seems to have a ton of food allergies, please ask them if they have heard of White Lion. Besides of a bakery in Providence, there are very few places out there where some foodies can truly eat freely. Also, they serve hot and/or cold coffee, which goes great with any baked good!

First and foremost I love our choices we grabbed. The Bog Frogs (cranberries, carmel and chocolate... All wrapped together) were blissful, the vanilla bean cheesecake was exceptional and lastly the lemon cannoli was great... But all were secondary in comparison to the owners. We are traveling through and were just mentioning we had to pull a u-turn to try their place out. They were sympathetic of the idea but honestly it was a blast (rental car... You understand)... So, they spend 10-15 minutes giving us tips and tricks for our stay in the area. Traffic information and awesome little gems to consider while we were here.

This little bakery tucked in a corner is a must visit.
