I recently stumbled upon this wonderful vegan restaurant. I had the chickpeas wrap it was very delicious. I love the fact that they have a lot of gluten free options on their menu. They also distribute green juice, they have healthy pastries which includes gluten free options. I recieved a new customer discount and a free health magazine. This will definitely be my go-to restaurant for vegan delights.

I've recently transitioned my diet over to Vegan and I've been looking for some go to places within the community while I'm out and about. This place did not disappoint. Great options and the food and smoothie was amazing. Would definitely recommend and will be coming back.

The staff at Vegan delight are so warm and friendly. The food is AMAZING. Nicely flavoured and presented. I look forward to enjoying many more meals that this establishment and continued study sessions. Oh and please please please try the “wild Gilbert” smoothie. 🤤

I recently had the pleasure of dining at a hidden gem in Durham, and I can confidently say that it exceeded all expectations. From the moment we stepped through the doors, the outstanding customer service set the tone for a truly memorable evening. We were a party of 5 all to which was pleased starting from the customer service to the meals.

What stood out immediately was the fact that the restaurant graciously opened its doors for us on a Sunday, showcasing a level of dedication to customer satisfaction that is truly commendable. It's not every day that you find a place willing to go the extra mile to accommodate its customers.

Now, let's talk about the food. Each dish we ordered was a culinary delight. From appetizers to desserts - each was made with love.

I would wholeheartedly give this restaurant a 5/5 rating. It's not just a place to eat; it's an experience. If you find yourself in Durham, Region, I highly recommend giving this restaurant a try. Whether you're a local or just passing through, the combination of exceptional customer service, Sunday opening, and delicious meals makes it a must-visit destination for any food enthusiast.

Vegan Delights catered a number of dishes for our Health Emphasis Day at the Ruth SDA church in Brampton. Wish I'd taken pictures.

The food was delicious, even non vegan individuals stated that they didn't miss the meat. The service was A1 and Lisa-Ann's knowledge of clean eating is impeccable.

I'd implore everyone to try their food, you'll not regret it!!!!!

I absolutely love the coconut chickpea wrap. The cookies are delicious and addictive ;). This restaurant has quickly become a favourite! Healthy, delicious, guilt-free food. Yum!

I wanted vegan desserts for a work event and walked into Vegan delights for the first time, the customer service was amazing, loved the ambience of the restaurant Lisa Ann was so kind, everything tasted so good and I will definitely recommend. - Peace

What a lovely place! It is so clean and welcoming. The prices are very reasonable and the food is very tasty and healthy. I had a power bowl and my husband had a roti and they were filling. This will be my go-to place when I'm in town. I am very pleased. Healthy and flavourful! Thank you Lisa-Ann fo your hospitality.

My family has been going here for years and the food has never failed to amaze us. The server is always nice and creates a fantastic dining experience. The steak is absolutely phenomenal and the atmosphere is amazing. I would definitely recommend this spot for anyone looking for a lunch/dinner spot.

We are very lucky to have this restaurant here. The food is phenomenal. The environment is cozy and charming that leaves you feeling like you have been transport to Paris or Montreal. The host was warm and charming and it felt like I was visiting a relative.

Nice Bistro is oozing with charm! Family operated by folks you wish were your neighbors.

French cooking and a bit more. We had the Steak Frites and the Beef Bourguignon, both excellent. The frites were irresistible and made to share.

Nice wine list and good variety of cold beer. We'll have to return for dessert another time, but the selection was tempting!

If you are looking for a taste of France or Quebec and are unable to leave town, the Nice Bistro is for you! We were entirely transported, for two wonderful hours, by the atmosphere/decor, food and warm attention of our hostess. I highly recommend the chicken crépè with a nice cold, crisp glass of white wine!

Small menu means quality comes 1st. Prix Fixe with the Soupe a L’onion gratinee was perfect, gruyere cheese perfectly melted with toasted thyme on top as an added touch.

Perfectly grilled (medium), tender, juicy lamb chops with a demi-glace, showcasing an amazing depth of flavour. Accompanied by perfectly cripsy (double-fried?) pomme frites, with a delicious garlic aoili (homemade, almost orange colour).

Dessert was a cookie frangello, which tasted like it was soaked in ice cream.

The owner is such a sweet lady, made us feel welcome and we loved the meal, atmosphere and excellent food.

What a sweet place ❤️ my boyfriend and I were passing through Whitby and just needed a place to grab lunch, and this bistro had such amazing reviews. After visiting, I can totally understand why! The food was amazing, and so was the service. A real family run business with the cutest atmosphere. I got the butternut squash ravioli, while my boyfriend got the jambalaya crepe - literally both unreal! Would definitely recommend this place, and I will definitely be back if I’m ever in the area again!

Amazing family-run restaurant located in the heart of downtown Whitby. For our first visit, we dined from their Prix Fixe menu (offered daily for dinner), which is an incredible value offering a starter, main (from their daily specials) and dessert. The salads were enjoyable with homemade dressing, the mains were fresh and well seasoned, and the desserts capped our dining experience off perfectly (bread pudding always wins).

What impressed the most was the service we received from Manon, Bernard, Philippe and their staff, as they welcomed us from the moment we walked in the door and ensured we were enjoying our dining experience throughout, as any host would welcome guests into their home.

The dining atmosphere was great, complete with artwork-lined walls and tables lined with checkered tablecloth to match the hexagonal tile flooring. Plenty of parking lots in the area and recommend reservations for dinner. Highly recommend and will definitely be back to experience their famous Jazz nights!
