The food looks super simple but has traditional fresh Italian quality with fair prices. Definitely try the small pizza. The cappuccino is amazing and the staff is very friendly.
Perfect little local spot in Florence that should not be skipped. Servers were so beautiful and kind. Food was splendid to taste and the cozy vibe drew us in. Love the entire experience

Very nice place, like the history of the place. The hot chocolate was delicious. The 0.50l water bottle was more than 3€ which is very overpriced. The waitresses were very nice. One of them forgot my water, but just a minor thing.
Loved everything about this place. The service is the best in town. You have to try the sweets and the Moroccan tea 😍

Highly recommended. Shout out to the best staff, Ronny 👋🏻

Cute place with amazing food. Portion sizes are nice and staff was really sweet despite our limited Italian. First day my husband had a pizza (I think it was made on cibatta ? Which was amazing), I had the smoked salmon salad, also amazing, second day we had lasagna which was fantastic. Would recommend:)
Not sure how they got so many 1 star reviews. I got pizza here and it was fine. My waiter was nice as well. Great place.
Very good prosciutto Crudo pizza. Service was fantastic, we sat upstairs where the ac was. Very comfortable and friendly place.

We had caffè and cornetti there every morning during our stay in Florence. Highly recommend ! The cornetto alla crema is amazing
What a wonderful find. Came across this place as we were checking out of our hotel. The staff are so friendly and the service was prompt. We only had a cappuccino and croissants, but they were the best we’ve had on our 10 day trip to Tuscany. Thank you!

Oliandolo Caffè Ristoro offers a great ambiance for starting your day with a delicious breakfast and enjoying coffee and snacks. However, the higher prices and relatively small portions might leave some customers wanting more value for their money. The variable quality of service also adds to the mixed feelings about the place. With a bit more attention to portion sizes, pricing, and maintaining a consistent level of service, Oliandolo Caffè Ristoro could truly become a standout dining destination in Florence.
Perfect little spot with excellent food and incredibly friendly staff. Our kids loved this place so much, we went back multiple times for both take away pizza, sandwiches, and dined in for pasta. The kids said it was the best pasta they’ve had so far. Very welcoming, unpretentious, and cozy. Highly recommend.

Nice atmosphere and plesant server. But our food was the worst in our 1-week stay in Italy. Pasta was not freshly cooked and looked like reheated leftovers ftom the other night. Good location though, so not too bad overall.
Nice little café down the street from our Airbnb. They have a good amount of quick sandwiches to choose from at a good price. Clod beverages available as well as a lot of pastries.
The nicest bar in Florence! Very calm atmosphere and lovely staff. Made me feel very welcomed even though I don’t understand Italian. Delicious food and also great location. Will definitely come again when in Florence 😊
The best cappuccino I had in Florence. We stayed nearby and went here every day. Super sweet staff as well!
One of the earliest cafe that opens when we were walking around at 7.30am. Great coffee and helpful staff. Food was served quickly with many locals
Had a refreshing stop here for espresso, panini, pastries and Strega. Attentive, friendly staff and delicious food.

The bruchetta with burrata is to die for, possibly the best bruchetta we've had in Italy. Especially good with olive oil, balsamic and a little fresh pepper. Buono!

Quaint bistrot just a few steps from the Santa Maria del Fiore Cathedral. Service was fast and food was great! Commendation to our waitress Viola who is really fantastic! We were a group of 12 people and everything went perfectly well!
A quick review here, because that's all that is needed🤣. It's great. We stayed just across the room and this is where we had our breakfast each day, thanks to our B&B. Speedy service very polite staff and a crazy speedy environment 🤣🕺💃

Great place to get coffee and sandwich. Prices are good and food is delicious. Sandwich is only 3.50 euros and cappuccino is only 1.40 euros. Service is also good. They accept credit card and have WIFI. Unfortunately seating is limited and most of the time crowded.
We tried the pasta from the day menu and it was very tasty. The waitress was very kind and nice in Italian style. Considering the location, the prices are reasonable.
I think this is the cheapest coffee shop in Florence 😄. Good coffee, good location nice atmosphere in Florence to drink coffee in the morning, but limited seating.
A lovely neighborhood coffee spot. We were in twice today … understanding we were breaking tradition, it was nice to see XL cappuccino to go being offered this morning. We stopped back on our way home and were given an extra pastry (because they are small) with our coffees, which was a nice gesture.
The most beautiful café in the city, very warm and nice people working there !!
The quality of foods ,sweets and Coffee is the best.
Anna is professional she is very warm smiling welcome to the guests in this place !! Congratulations we will come back
Delightful stop for delicious light fare of a perfect croissant with salami and cheese and a delightful tort for desert ordered from items in the sumptuous counter display. They also offered an attractive full dinner menu. Hospitable waiter made the place welcoming and comfortable.
Perfetto! I highly recommend this place, wide selection of tasty cakes, ideal for italian breakfast. Nice service

This is an amazing Cafe, extremely friendly staff who spoke great English. They couldn't do enough for us. The pastries crumble so softly into your mouth with an explosion of cream filling, and an assortments of flavours. In Italy they call a Mocha "Marocchino", it's packed with flavour and great strong coffee flavour. Thank you so much would love to have come here again and again. Ciao grazie!
Everyone there was so nice and they seemed to have a lot of pride and care with the pastries they made. It was all wrapped up with a cover to protect their appearance, wrapped up and tied with a bow. Really delicious!

Mostly a tourist trap. The food was low quality and over-priced. I ordered a caprese salad and it was just 3 slices of a tomato which was not fresh at all, a bad quality mozzarella and one very tiny leaf of basil. This cost around 10 euros. The pasta itself was well made but the sauce and the meat were terrible. Also, they charge too much on coperto and it doesn't offer quality at all. The place and the furnitures are very old or cheap for a restaurant that charges that much. The bathroom was in very bad condition.
The only positive thing is that the lady that served us was nice.
I strongly do not recommend.
Please avoid it. It ruined our day.

And no, I am not confusing the place as the owner says in the reply ( I uploaded the photo that I took with its name after I left the restaurant in order to give it a review later because I was so disappointed). He just picked on the fact that at first I wrote at the ending that "it ruined our dinner". Dinner, lunch, meal, it doesn't matter. Yes, it was during the daylight and I should have said lunch.
It seems he can't handle the reviews that actually uncover the bad things that are happening there. This says a lot about why some things are in this way if the owner replies in such manner, doesn't take accountability or even worse, as I saw in other replies of his, insulting the customer that made the review.
Thank you.

Went in mid-September on a rainy day for lunch. Not busy at the time, we were the first ones in. Staff were all very friendly and service was great. We had a short chat with the lovely owner at the end of the meal too.

It's now almost December and I'm still thinking about that amazing melt in your mouth lasagna! Best food I had my entire trip!
Very cute cafe, not too busy. Staff is very friendly! They have great English if anyone struggles with Italian. Also very cheap! Everything in our photo (2 croissants, an americano, and macchiato) was about €5,60.
My wife and I love this cafe. Our favorite place in Florence to grab an espresso or cappuccino. The staff is friendly and the drinks are great ☺️
This place offers continental breakfasts. Unfortunately, the Italians do not fully understand what they are. There was scrambled eggs, but the cheapest "orange juice" from the market, salty piece of bread and a portion of cheap jam in a small plastic package. I didn't know whether to add the jam to the eggs, jam or to the small salty bun. price: 10 euros. conclusion: if you are in Italy, eat like an Italian - for breakfast coffee and pasta. Basta!. beautiful interior and surroundings. service not very vigilant
I first visited the bar some 30 years ago when I stayed in Florence for two months at a neighboring language school. While ownership changed the folks still had the same welcoming spirit. When I return to Florence, I will always stop by to say Hi and have a Panino and a glass of wine.

Enormous bar right outside the San Frediano gate, with plenty of seating for the whole neighborhood. Beautiful pastries and desserts and good coffee. Nice and friendly service.

Great coffee, kind staff, nice atmosphere!
Der Bäcker war unser tägliches Frühstück in Florenz. Wir haben uns durch quasi alle Dolci durch probiert - und alle waren sehr lecker. Dazu sehr guter Kaffee / Cappuccino. Ein echtes Stück Italien
Fantastic range of pastries baked every day, served still warm from the oven with well made coffee. The barista even showed off his latte art skills on a quieter morning!
