If you are just looking to walk this pair do not do it. They charge you $3 just to walk this pier Like it's something special or made of gold. You can walk Pier 14 or Garden City pier all for FREE and get the same great views. This pier is a rip off

Springmaid Pier is by far my favorite pier in the Myrtle Beach area! It is a great pier for fishing, or even a nice long stroll to relax! The fact that it is right off of the end of the Myrtle Beach Airport allows for great viewing of planes taking off too! The fishing on this pier is fantastic and everyone in the shop is helpful to answer questions you might have. Anthony is a great guy, and will get you set up right to catch some good fish! 10/10 recommend Springmaid Pier to anyone!

We had a blast fishing from the pier. It wasn't too crowded. It was quite peaceful. The restaurant beside the pier was very accommodating with the food & drinks.

Very nice walk, would recommend buying a ticket in the morning and going back at sunset with the same wrist band.

Standing on a pier, gazing out at the vast ocean, can be a serene and introspective experience. The rhythmic sound of the waves and the expansive view often bring a sense of peace and connection to nature. While fishing may not always yield the desired results, it's the patience and the practice that make the experience worthwhile. Each trip is an opportunity to learn and improve, and indeed, there may be better luck next time with a catch worthy of the wait.

Worth the $3 if you want to take a walk. They have all the equipment you need for fishing.

It’s a little bit of a rip off you have to pay to fish but hey it’s a great pier that’s kept in good shape and there is actually fish. Caught four different fish in two days and six total. Not a bad spot. Plus it has cool sharks that go up and down the pier you can watch.
