This was a recommendation from a local, as we were just looking for a quick place for a light lunch. Local knowledge is a great bonus, as we enjoyed this little cafe. A nice selection of Crepes, rolls and toasties. Some interesting and unusual ingredient combinations. But they were delicious. A great place to sit, have a chat with friends while having something to eat and drink. Very friendly staff and a bright, relaxed cafe.
I was just running in for a quick coffee on the way to a meeting with my 6 mo so I didn’t bother getting the pram out, the barista couldn’t stop her personal conversation about getting another job long enough just to take my order so I had to stand there for ages with my heavy baby on my hip. Right after I left without ordering she called a guy in from the back to help with orders. I understand if a coffee takes a long time to make but when I’m the only person in line and you’re the blatantly ignoring me when it would’ve been nice to order and sit down to wait with my child is awful especially when the person she was talking to about the job had her number so they clearly could have discussed it another time. I used to love supporting this local cafe as we live just down the road but I definitely won’t be going back anytime soon…

Once you find a good place like Wild Cherry and know that your getting an amazing coffee, you easily get disappointed when you have to go elsewhere as there is no comparison.
The team remember who you are and talk to you, they actually care plus they love to hear all my crazy mishaps and adventures.

A little disappointing. I ordered the big breakfast and it seemed as they cheaped out on a couple items. The menu states cherry tomatoes, but they only served a single one. Also it seemed like they used a very cheap sausage as a part of it. Very underwhelming compared to other big breakfasts that I have had
This isn't your average joe eatery. Every item on the menu is delicious, very well put together, and divine to look at. Definitely worth it!!
It’s winter and there’s no heater and they let all the doors wide open at 8:30.
The food took 30 mins to come out.
Eggs were cold and tasted like they were from a plastic packet and made from rubber.
Bacon and Turkish toast were cold too.

The coffee here is by far and away the best I have had anywhere ever. Had to buy a bag to take home. Thanks to the lovely staff member ( Ally )who made the coffee’s and really liked my daughters bike with the rainbow wheels. 🌈
The owner is a really lovely man that is why we decided to give this place a try, sadly the staff ruined the experience by making us wait 30 minutes for our first drink then not having the ingredients for our second and forgetting our food order. We were so excited to try the fish cakes but after an hour of waiting we gave up. People who arrived after us got their food and we even reminded them that we had ordered the fish cakes but still nothing. This is a real shame as we are new locals

It is a Gold Coast institution for a reason. I like to go try new places but when I come back here I’m not sure why I go trying anywhere else. Coffee and service are always on point and the food is unique with fresh ingredients. I had the stracciatella toast. The flavours were unique and worked well together. The nudja was probably the spiciest I’ve ever had and I’ll be feeling it for days to come but that’s my own fault; I’m sure there is a less spicy option I could have gone with. Also some Michelle Branch playing in the background, what a Sunday morning vibe!
This store is my go to on the daily for great coffee, delioso donuts and awesome friendly service from the young lady that works there everyday except Tuesday. She has the knack of remembering the regulars and their orders, always has a welcoming smile. Coffee making is on point next level. Ive sampled all the coffee surrounding D.10 Varsity and found her coffees are 10 out of 10. Which is why im a returning customer daily. To this staff member, please continue to provide great coffee and your awesome welcoming attitude. Great customer service is hard to come by these days. I hope management keep you on so I and so many of the other regular patrons can continue to drink tasty coffees,eat delioso donuts and receive great customer service. Thank you so much 👍

It was busy when we were there, but they made a plan for us to sit outside by getting another table from inside. They were very accommodating, and we didn't wait for more than a minute to be seated.
Most seating outside is in the shade, but there are a few spots in the sun if you want it.

Fantastic cafe in Varsity! I regularly drive from my work in Q centre to eat at this cafe since their food and service is amazing! The young lady with the amazing pink hair and the young gentleman at the front are so friendly! Their food is always on point 👏🏾👏🏾 keep up the great work guys! Will keep coming back for sure! 😊😊👍🏾
The service is great and the team at Wild Cherry are always really welcoming. The coffee is also near impossible to beat. If you’re on the Gold Coast and in the area anytime, I’d highly recommend.

Been coming here for years. We start our day with a coffee and muffin or toasty on the way to school. You get the locals vibe as soon as you walk in and are greeted by the owner (Veronica). It’s busy, so you know it’s good. But best of all, even during the morning rush it is still super fast service. Very impressive, clean and efficient operation, and importantly, the coffee, food and service are A1 and prices are more than reasonable. We enjoy starting our day here, and will continue to do so… 5 stars all around.

One of the best Stake Sandwich 🥪 😋 I have had. This one was very well c9oked, presented and tasty 😋 too. Good service. I sat outside but was a bit warm this day.

Acai bowl is pretty small serve for the price. Chicken Burger was ok. Coffee was good. My friend felt a bit unwell after the salad, not sure if it's the salmon. Service was great.
Friendly service, wide variety of donuts available. Coffee is also really good, especially the iced latte and the cold brew with cream.

Jason was so great to deal with and contacted us regularly to make sure we where happy with selections and to ensure they would be ready for our big day!

I’ve been attending Coffeeholics most mornings for over a year now and I can happily say they never disappoint! Consistently great service, these girls work hard to always deliver quickly. Great coffee, and my favourite part of my morning is enjoying one of their bacon and egg toasties.
I preferred the cafe with multiple options for meal with avocado, eggs & mushroom. So I like the cafe menu, plus their prices is also decent.
We went for morning brunch ordered almond milk mocha, smoothies Acai bowl & veggie dish. Smoothies are dope 😋 must try.

Great atmosphere inside this amazing cafe in the Gold Coast. Loved their QR order services outdoor. I like their egg Benedict with hash especially. Perfect coffee temperature, not too hot, not too cold, taste better. Good brunch!

Got some coffee and donuts this morning (Monday 15th, aug) and the guy serving us was so friendly and welcoming, his coffee was delicious, fantastic service, made our morning :)
Since the new order taker has come they consistently get even simple orders wrong. I’m all for helping small business being a business owner but the ignorance here is not bliss it is pathetic.

Whilst it reasonably priced and a convenient location, the service is appalling. It doesn't cost anything to smile, use manners and appreciate your customers and their support. The "with attitude" in the business name suits the staff and their lack of personalities

First time here, 5 of us. we came in at 7.30 am on a Thursday, we ordered 5 coffees and sat inside as it was a rainy day. Service was friendly and also efficient. I like the staff uniforms, the aprons look great. My only criticism is the chairs have No padding so to sit for a se one coffee was very uncomfortable. I was pleasant,y surprised with this coffee shop. Well done. I would have stayed longer but the chairs had me leaving with no padding.

$9.50 for burger and chips add cheese to burger and gravy side for the princely sum of $3.50… bit rich but anyway… then sit down to enjoy and find the actual burger patty with cheese forgotten to be put in the bun… whoops!

Such a lovely cafe with wonderful staff and owners. They have the best food especially the laksa and pho dishes.
Their Açai Bowl is only $12 but they don’t put real granola instead they have toasted muesli. Has a bit of fruit on top but nothing much more and some shredded coconut. There are much better Acai Bowls in other places.
Nice find in this little suburban shopping centre on Christine Avenue. Café has a good variety of food, and has a very pleasant atmosphere.

This is another diamond in the rough. I absolutely love coming here. The staff are friendly and welcoming and always show patience when hearing my order as yes folks....I am one of those women who changes her mind every second and never gets the same thing. 😜

Don't be deceived by the friendly customer servive, these guys are wolves in sheep's clothing. It is no surprise that local cafes struggle to compete with coffee giants like Starbucks. Personally, I buy coffee for its unique fragrance, distinct flavour and caffeine hit. I did not pay premium price for some flavoured tap water. Highly recommend avoiding this place.
Best rice paper rolls - yummy and fresh. Probably the friendliest hospitality team I've come across in a long time. Delightful!

A little bit of Paris in the heart of Varsity Lakes . A good selection of cakes & tarts with their Almond Croissant a standout treat . I could see some breakfasts brought out for other customers that seemed to be exceptionaly presented & and good size . Coffee was a 7 out of 10 & good selection of tea . Tables & chairs inside (airconed)& a couple on the footpath . Prices were very reasonable & not over priced for sure . We will certainly come back again.
Trendy, clean, nice menu, central for Uni Students. Only downside I can see is that it's fairly small so maybe not suitable for large groups.
They have great coffees, and the food is great, as well. I've never been disappointed with anything here, and I've had plenty of items off the menu. Beyond the coffee and food, they have wonderful fresh squeezed juices that are a sure fire way to kick start your.

The Best Coffee on the Gold Coast!! I discovered this hidden gem and now I won't go anywhere else. Greeted with a smile every morning, Veronica and her team know how to put a smile on yours. Do yourself a favour and try them!

This place should be embarrassed. They are happy to take your money but not provide you with the food you ordered. I arrived at 12.05 and ordered my food. 30 minutes later and no food. I look around and there is not another person in sight. I walk inside to see that people from my work who arrived 15 minutes after me have their food and it is they ordered the same thing as me. I asked them where my food is and that people after me have their food and they say it’s coming. They come outside and ask me what I ordered and I tell them. I told the guy again I ordered 30 minutes ago and he apologised and said they were waiting for chips to cook. I said I arrived well before my colleague who has her food with chips and his excuse was he didn’t take the order. Pretty arrogant way of dealing with it. Happy to take my cash but only got excuses. They make money because they are the only cafe in the complex. Food is unhealthy and not worth it. My whole lunch break was gone in waiting for this food and I had to swallow it down because I didn’t get it. I’m not sure why it happened but the mans abrupt rude manner and excuses are terrible.please do not go here. Please go anywhere else but here.
I would give 6 stars if possible! Old Paris Cafe offers AMAZING pastry and coffees and crepes and company and a place to relax. A visit to Old Paris Cafe is like going home. Go - feel the embrace.
They serve my favourite coffee blend, Gabriel Coffee & so well made too. We walk across Lake Orr just to grab my coffee fix. So happy to have found this place.
