Nice food and service. Quick and lovely people do work here.. despite reading some pretty nasty reviews on here. Right next to the train station meaning it’s accessible but also busy!
Great restaurant for breakfast and brunch! I took the poached eggs with Benedictine sauce and that was delicious! I can only recommend!

Managed to find the only place who had available tables on a Sunday for lunch, managed to sit outside under the nice sun. The place is cute, small and cozy. I think it was slightly overpriced for the actual food, as it was just simple sandwiches, although the servings were quite generous! Overall it was okay, food was good but nothing crazy special.
It was a delightful surprise. We were searching for a place open on Sunday in Lausanne for lunch and ended up here out of curiosity. The staff is genuinely friendly and polite, the menu provides a wide variety of choices, and the food was both fresh and healthy. We'll definitely be back! :)
Best place for a quick breakfast with freshly baked pastries and coffee on a raining (or not) morning.
Situated very close to the Lausanne train station.
Very good coffee. I love the aroma and taste. Staff speak English. They are so nice.
Attentive service, welcoming us since the beginning to show us our seat. Various food selection for your typical healthy brunch style. Everything we ordered were superb and generous in portion. Coffee was also very proper. We had a very enjoyable Sunday brunch and will come back again 🥰
Best breakfast in Switzerland at a great price!

Great food with healthy choices and great service from our waitress Hinda (I think that is the spelling!). Large giant coffee mugs with an excellent flavour from the blank long to a latte. Fresh squeezed orange juice without any bitterness (good oranges).
This is a lovely stop during a day in Lausanne, with a natural, wooden ambience and an excellent selection for non-caffeine drinkers. I really wish they sold mugs with their logo on. I like the design and layout a lot. I had a really nice dragonfruit hot oat milk with a ginger and nut brownie, but there was a wide selection otherwise.

Lovely place. Got my coffee there every morning during my stay in Lausanne. The banana bread is great, too.
nice cute cafe for morning coffee on saturday🐻☕️ first time encounter of nitro coffee in Lausanne!
A very nice place to stop while walking around Lausanne. The burgers are amazing. Service is fast and with a very good attitude. There are only a few tables outside and although they are next to the street, the traffic is not intrusive or annoying. Take a look inside the establishment. On the third floor, the atmosphere is vintage, arranged with attention to detail and with style.

Oversized and overpriced Lattes. Why must there always be loud unpleasant music blaring inside?
The coffee served at Sleepy Bear Coffee Shop was the best coffee we’ve had the 2 weeks we’ve been in Switzerland. Me and my sister had an iced latte, dad had a flat white, and my mom had a cappuccino with soy milk. We also got some pastries. Everything was amazing!!!!
Hopped off the train to get breakfast. So glad we stumbled upon this place. Really nice coffee shop with pleasant service and the best coffee we have had in quite a CD while. Excellent banana bread and chocolate croissants! Definitely worth stopping here.

Absolutely overpriced coffee, and not a lot of choice of food, but the ambiance is nice.

Wonderful 5* experience! An hidden gem in Lausanne! This place offers a wide variety of coffees as well as milk alternatives and decaf options. You can also find some Greek specialities and delicious healthy snacks.

I come for a cappuccino almost every Monday and I am usually served by Gaby, who in addition to being very friendly and smiling, knows the secret to making a cappuccino at the best temperature and texture (it is definitely not easy and this is not the case elsewhere).

Thanks a lot!

I love Starbucks because it’s always a known place in an unknown city where I can just go be there for a while. The matcha latte is also great. The coffee is ok.

We ordered coffee + matcha latte and we were delighted with what we got. Very flavorful and yummy! Highly recommended. Very kind, patient, and professional staff. They offer a variety of drink options and cakes. It is a cosy place but it is not too big. Reasonable prices for the high quality they offer. Overall, very recommended!

Dear Starbucks Lausanne Managers,

I am writing to share my recent experience at your coffee shop located in front of the Lausanne train station. I visited your shop yesterday (Wednesday 12th of May 2023) between 7 pm and 8 pm and unfortunately, experienced two single points of failure from two of your employees.

1. First single point of failure:
I was interested in trying your app to order and pick up my drink without having to wait in the physical queue. When I approached the Asian waitress who serves the ready-made drinks for assistance, she seemed annoyed but still tried to help me with my questions. However, after her initial assistance, I had further questions but didn't dare to approach her again as her body language suggested that she wanted to be left alone. This resulted in me not being able to use the app and joining the physical queue instead. I wasn’t satisfied with the customer service but decided that she was probably having a long day behind that counter and that at that time of the day, she probably had little energy left for customer requests.

2. Second single point of failure:
While waiting in the physical queue, I observed the young waiter with bangs and glasses providing good customer service to the lady in front of me. When it was my turn to order and the turn of subsequent customers, his demeanor changed and he was cold. This inconsistency in customer service made me feel uncomfortable and dissatisfied with the level of customer service provided. I decided to observe him for a little while before judging him. I noticed that he had a very friendly attitude towards some customers and a distant attitude towards others. It came across as random and chaotic customer service.

As I was leaving Starbucks, I approached the young waiter and shared my observation of his inconsistent customer service. I expressed my concern that he should not be in charge of customer service due to the lack of positive customer service consistency. In response, he adopted an entitled demeanor and explained his behavior by saying things such as: “Look… I am tired…” , “Oh… so YOU took it personally (as to say that my problem stemmed from my perception of the events,)” or “but what does it matter to you how I treat other customers...?”. When I told him that I was going to write a review regardless of his reasoning, he became even more patronizing and domineering, shouting that I needed to wait before leaving the store. I acknowledge that it isn't agreeable to hear that one shouldn't be in charge of customer service due to observed inconsistent behavior.

These two incidents within less than an hour represent single points of failures that ultimately compounded and created a negative customer experience. The poor customer service provided by the Asian waitress and the inconsistent customer service provided by the young waiter make them single points of failures that should be addressed.

I believe that the problem is not entirely the fault of these two employees. Instead, I think they need the right incentives (from management) to behave in more positive ways.

Wishing you all the best

I normally love this cafe because of it‘s great food. They also have a kids corner which is very convenient if you go with kids. However, the last time I was there, a group of kids were already playing including my 2 year old son. As you can imagine this age group can be noisy. The owner of the cafe came and literally yelled at our kids in front of us, warning the little ones to stop being noisy in a very rude way. If you can‘t handle having kids around then DON‘T have a kids corner. Also, it‘s not YOUR place to yell at little kids in the presence of the parents!!! I will never again go there not will I suggest it to any of my friends.

Great location just opposite the Lausanne train station. And very rare to get a place with a huge, long table.
Great coffee shop with a lot of options and delicious carrot cake. The staff is very friendly, polite, and attentive. It is a small coffee shop with good ambiance. I really recommend it! :-)
Just it could open until the end of the afternoon so we can enjoy more.
A café/restaurant with a nice atmosphere with surely a lot of potential! Many veggie and healthy options which all sound delicious. A menu that is for the least, very appealing. Unfortunately, the food did not quite live up to those high expectations we had. Nonetheless, I would recommend it for coffee or lunch and leave it to the next customers to discover&rate the rest of their promising menu.
I asked for a “iced tea”. Came to the table at room temperature with no ice !!! ……

The guy that attended us was “prétentieux”. Honestly, expected better from the place

It's more of a cab stand then a Starbucks. Loud taxi drivers always sitting at the front. They smell and they are rude and act like they own the place.

I was very blessed to have stayed next to this coffee and was able to get my morning latte from Sleepy Bear for a week. I like my coffee beans to be tastey and love "spiciality coffee" with good quality. Thank you Sleepy Bear for making my visit to Lausane soo great. ❤️❤️

Had the privilege of trying "Greek" coffee for the first time in my life: amazingly strong and flavourful!
Overall, The Coffee/Greek project is a cozy, small, and cute cafe. We are definitely planning to visit again, and this time try the main course: especially souvlaki, fresh pita, and Greek salad!

We visited this very nice cafe on a day trip in Lausanne. The service was really good and fast.
The coffee was very well prepared and the snacks are very tasty.
We will definitely visit again and I do recommend you to get out of your way and try it.

Probably the best carrot cake I've ever had - and I'm told the home made chocolate cake is even better! Friendly staff. Relaxed venue. Highly recommended!
Little coffee shop serving good coffee. The atmosphere is nice. However, there are seated for only a handful of people(not all seats are pictured). I went there to study a bit for uni. I put 4/5 because the Cappuccino (very good) was quite expensive 5,50.- CHF . Otherwise the Batista was friendly.

I highly recommend their grilled octopus poke bowl! It is so delicious. This is only bowl I have tried, but my friends ordered different bowls and they really liked their choices as well. One of my favorite things to eat in Lausanne.

Cozy and bright place with a few tables within the Fnac. A choice of tasty bowls amongst other dishes. Making a reservation at lunch time is almost mandatory to get a table.
