Nice and cozy place to have a breakfast or come with kids (there is a playground right beside the cafe). Nachos with cheddar are delicious! Don’t miss this place if you’re in the area:)

This place is a rip off. Overpriced and really bad service. I ordered a hot dog which per the menu was coming with avocado, corn, onion and jalapeños. I was served a very poor hot dog with came with nothing except jalapeños. When I asked where was the rest, the woman behind counter said "we don't have corn, I forgot the onions and the avocado is what you see there". Really disgusting food and service. Paid Euro 8.50, complete rip off. Do not go there. If needing to entertain your kids the marina is much better.

Atención 0 nos dijeron, una chica con gafas, que si queríamos un vaso de cristal que nos fuéramos a la.playa. Un grupo de 30 personas que nos habiamos dejado un dinero y nos trataron mal. Dejó mucho que desear si atención.

Very disappointing. It’s a cute place with the playground nearby… but the 2 waiters in the morning made the experience awful. Prices are high for average food… service is poor, they don’t come to take your order or bring you the food, and their attitude is dismissive and mean.

Business model on parent exploitation
This is one of those establishments that know their strengths and stay in business despite all indications of should-fail business. My comment is based on a few visits, the last one (the last of the few and THE last) being today. Generally, they have over-priced mediocre food (to be fair, the prices are likely “okay” for the area). What distinguishes them is their exceptionally bad service. I do not mean not being treated like kings and queens. You have to wait long to be attended and served because they are short staffed, and I do not mean to blame the workers for their likely annoying boss. I actually appreciate the workers’ honesty - they are unapologetically rude and they do not pretend otherwise. For example, I ordered something with jamon serrano in it (like half of the menu), that apparently they did not have at the moment (and she did not care to mention). The server visibly and hearbly huffed-puffed after I asked a couple seconds to change the order (we did not not send the server elsewhere, the server huffed upfront instantly, and received my new order within 30 seconds while she was taking other’s orders at our table). I guess they adopted their boss’ thinking that there is a playground right there and the parents will end up at their establishment regardless of how they are treated (I have to admit, the playground next to it is pretty convenient, but not to the extent that they assume). We were annoyed with the attitude but did not press it - service industry is a difficult industry, and everybody has bad days, right? We end up complaining to them later for yet another incident other than the huff-puff, and they could not care less. One of the staff dismissively asked the other to ignore the complaint rather than hearing it. In short, you can go to this business to observe how you can open a local cafe that offers neither good food nor reaonable pricing, yet stays open even though the customers are treated like they are a nuisance. A dream case for any establishment.

Super cute! The kiddos enjoyed the little park. The chicken was very good (lagrimitas de pollo) with good seasoning. The coffee was above average.

Llevo a mi hijo al polideportivo, y me parece un buen lugar para pasar el rato y disfrutar de un café o una bebida fría! Aveces se genera espera, lo único que observo para mejorar.

Lovely small cafe situated next to a well maintained children's play area. Ample seating indoor & outdoor. Friendly staff & great service. Excellent for breakfast & light bites. Also lovely to stop off for a drink following an evening stroll.

Cute cafe. Very clean. We only had the fresh made smoothies which were fab!

Lovely restaurant

We paid central London prices for coffe and pastries that were just ok, very limited choice.
I orderer in my poor spanish and when the order came one item was missing, I pointed that out and after few minutes another lady speaking english came telling me "you didn't order the milk", I blamed my poor spanish for the misunderstanding but the lady was just stern and repeated "no. You did not order it.".....ok I guess. I had to formally put the order again. Didn't feel welcomed, I'll spend my money elsewhere

Not many places in Benalmadena advertise for takeaway coffee so went here twice during our stay as it is in a good location. As others have mentioned, the service is very slow, even for takeaway coffees. Someone else received their takeaway coffee before us one one occasion. However the coffee is good, so we did return. Just be mindful of the delay.

La verdad que empiezo siempre el día desplazándome a tomar café allí, me encanta el ambiente y el trato de Rafael el propietario, la tortilla de patatas espectacular !! Y los pitufos de salchichón ibéricos son mis preferidos, en la misma calle suele haber aparcamiento y sino justo enfrente se puede aparcar en doble fila, en la terraza se está muy agradable y dentro también, aparte del buen servicio hay que destacar la limpieza extrema que hay en el local, todo impecable !!! Para mi un sitio recomendable para empezar el día con un buen cafecito !!!

We visited El Kafelito multiple times during our stay in Spain. Always a good service and delicious foods, drinks, milkshakes and whatnot! Thank you for everything. 😊 Highly recommended!

Visited here multiple times over a 2 weeks period for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We never once had a bad meal, and the staff have to be the friendliest in Benalmadena, a true asset! I am a huge burger fan and have to say the Bomba is one of the nicest burgers I have ever eaten, not sure where they source their beef, but it’s absolutely delicious, no need for any sauce!!

Highly recommend visiting.

Me pedí un pitufo mixto y estaba bastante bueno. El pan podría ser mejorable, pero las cantidades de embutido y queso eran las precisas, perfecto. El trato al cliente es agradable. El local algo pequeño, pero lo que realmente importa, que es el servicio, bien aprobado.

Me encanta los desayunos que hace rafa. Y el cafe espectacular.

I live in Benalmadena for 3 years now always trying out the new places. I never do a review based on one occasion so I ate here a breakfast had a beer in the afternon and picked up something. They all have one in common: QUALITY. Their catalana is so far the BEST that I have had in Spain. I think the Spanish ham that they are using it is melting in my mouth, they use exactly the right amount of olive oil and tomato and their bred is unbeatable. Amasing a MUST TRY! All the bakery products that they are selling is fresh and I assume they use the best ingridients as it is outstanding comparing to other competitions like Granier or Lorena. The one thing that you should be aware and not be annoyed that they take their time to serve you but when they do you will be the luckiest customer in Andalusia.

I discovered this lovely place and was there every day for my morning coffee which was amazing as well as delicious home made cakes and the friendliest lovely lady who made me beautiful coffee every morning and sometimes with a little love heart on top of the froth. I sadly have to go home today but I'll be back.

Great ambience and service!

When my son stil in primary school he plays football in deportivo and i sat here grab a drink. It is very clean,modern and spacious. The waiters are fast and acommodating. Recently, i came to just unwind be in this area so wonderful ambience, sorrounded with healthy minded neighbourhood and away from the tourists crowd t feels amazing! The burger special they is hearty and really good for a frendly price. The pizza is the best pizza i ever had for a long long time. The crust baked perfectly is absolutely just melt in your mouth.

El mejor bar para desayunar. Rafa, el dueño, un máquina. Muy rápido y muy buen trato.
